After a very long time of researching breeders I decided that Janelle Cole at bellaminidoodles.com seemed like the best fit to work with. I found a beautiful puppy listed on the website " Fushia Girl " a mini goldendoodle i spoke to Jenelle 3 times before purchasing. She sent me the invoice for 3,900.00. Once I paid in full she texted me not thanking me for the payment but to complain she forgot to add on the $110.00 processing fee she gets charged when one uses a credit card. Although this was settled once she realized her error Jenelle advised she would pay for this fee along with the " training the pup received " I selected a pick up date see her website she charges $550.00 for pick up in Lee Massachusetts. Once a delivery date was set I received another text from Jenelle advising me to bring $675.00 in cash for the delivery driver. Big difference $550.00 to $675.00. I arrived early that day to pick up the puppy, no delivery company existed it was just her son. I pay the $675.00 was handed the pup and drove home the 2 hours. When finally was getting settled at home I noticed I was given the wrong dog. I also must add this pup was so shaggy, messy, matted and poor thng couldn't see with the amount of hair covering the eyes. I brought the pup to TWO pet specialists and was told this dog is NOT a Pure Goldendoodle this is closer to a Poddle. I contacted Jenelle Cole that same night at 732pm via text, expressed my concern to Jenelle Cole. Radio Silent, No Text, No Phone Call nothing. The next day at 130 pm I finally connected with Jenelle Cole owner of Bellaminidoodles.com. The reply I received " anyone who is not happy with the puppy they receive I always tell them to bring the puppy back to me " I remind her I live in Massachusetts and she lives in Rochester NY a 938 miles round trip. That day I spend 2 hours researching flight nanny, delivery companies, private flights out of the Beverly ma airport, thought about renting a car, looked into taking a bus to NY so many ideas but every idea I had and looked into would cost $650.00 at minimum to get the pup returned to NY. I finally decided I would drive my own car that is a lease to NY. I reached back out to Janelle and ask her if she would kindly return my $675.00 cash from the pick up delivery and I Will agree to drive the pup I have back to her home in Rochester NY. Her reply " I am not paying one penny for your expense to bring the pup back to me this is your responsibility " Text me when you are on your way, and hangs up on the phone on me. The next day at 4:42 am I got in the car and drove to NY. I arrived at 12:35 pm returned the pup back to Jenelle Cole. She begged me not to post any reviews. She asked me if I thought she was being fair I replied NO but showed zero compassion. All I wanted and still want is the delivery fee of $675.00 returned to me. Note again her sketchy website says her delivery fee to pick-up a pup is $550.00 so why was I was charged $675.00 is wild. I returned home that same night at 920pm. I drove 987 miles, drove a total of 14 hours, spent $140.00 on gas in one day a big loss for me. The next day Jenelle Cole texted me showing me pictures of the pup all well groomed saying she has been adopted for $3400. I submitted a complaint with the Attorney general office in NY thankfully they have a Lemon Law for Dogs. Waiting for the outcome, I just want my refund. #1 pic is the dog I purchased, #2 & 3rd picture is how I received the pup, shaggy, messy and not the same dog. Lastly her pups are not " Trained " so please beware and no I do not recommend bellaminidoodles.com. They advertise Goldendoodles but are selling Poodles. Note multiple negative reviews posted on bellaminidoodles.com most concerning her last positive review is not recent dated back to 2019. After proceeding through the process of purchasing a puppy from this breeder, we felt as if we were pushed into making a quick decision and also felt the process lacked professionalism. The fact that Bella Mini Doodles has five star reviews and one star reviews should tell you something. The dogs are good, Janelle is rude and unprofessional. After several months, I finally had my first conversation with Janelle in anticipation of getting a puppy in a month. Up to that time, I was just the recipient of group emails. When I asked Janelle for a copy of the contract prior to traveling to Rochester to pick up the puppy, she hung up on me. In a subsequent text she told me that asking for a copy of the contract was a sign of distrust and she was refunding me the deposit. My experience with Janelle was very undeserved, painful and disappointing. I had made a point not to bother Andy and Janelle in any way prior to the time that they notified me that a puppy was available. I read their website carefully, but it contains no information about their practices or terms in connection with the sale. Asking for a copy of the contract is to me just good, professional practice on my side, and Janelle refusing to go forward on the basis of my making that request (and in fact hanging up on me) is to me unprofessional, rude and inappropriate. read more

After searching endlessly for Mini Goldendoodle breeders my husband and I thought that we had found the perfect breeder to give us our new family member... ironically we ended up being very wrong. The dogs are not cheap to start with, even when compared to other breeders this breeder charges at least an extra grand for their "mini's" which end up being around 20lbs or under. Regardless of this we were ready to pay for the perfect puppy. We contacted the breeder and she asked us to fill out a questionnaire which we did and we were approved to be good owners for a puppy and put on a waitlist after describing the type of puppy we wanted (coat color/curliness, size, and gender). We were told that when the puppies were born we would be allowed to pick from the litter based off of the order that we paid the $300 deposit. Either way fast forward to about a year later-- we decided to wait a while since we were still moving and setting into a new home. We finally asked to be put on a litter list and where told that we would be sent picture of the parent dogs in order to pick what traits we wanted. We were also promised that once the puppies were born we would receive biweekly video updates of the puppies. This is when the problems started. First we were never sent pictures of the parents and put on a list regardless. My husband and I assumed that this meant Janelle (the breeder) had already met our needs for the dogs coat color/curliness, size, and gender as we would later find out she had not taken this into account whatsoever. We only contacted again when the puppies were born. Janelle sent us a single photo of a puppy and did not inform us how many boy's or girls were born even after we texted her several times. The next time we would hear from her was when she told us that there was only one male puppy born since we had wanted a male we could be put on another litter to see if they're would be more. When we asked if we could chose a female puppy instead she told us that we were required to take the male despite having "1st pick of the litter." This really didn't make any sense to use and was a bit frustrating so we asked about the other litter we would be put on. This is when she told us that she had already filled the list and that we would now have 4th pick of the litter despite having paid our deposits a year ago! She began to really try an push us to switch litters stating that the puppies would have "prettier" parents etc. and we found out that she already had a family in the same area that she would be delivering to so it would be more convenient for her to make the trip. We knew that there would be a delivery fee for the puppy, and considering we live in CA we knew it would be a couple hundred dollars at least but considering the fact that we would be doing her a favor by switching litters we expected her to split this delivery cost with us and the other family. Instead she charged the full price of $800 (which she had no disclosed with us previously) and after looking up plane ticket costs (for both people and the puppies) this number seemed a bit high. After begin ignored throughout the entire process, suddenly pressured to switch litters last minute for the convinces of the breeder, not being given the qualities in the puppy that we wanted, and being informed of additional fee's and costs for the dog this late into the process my husbands and I decided to look elsewhere and ask for our deposit back. This is when Janelle got relatively displeased with us and told us that she made it "abundantly" clear that we did not give refunds back once we were put on a litter list. Well this was the fist we had heard of this. Puzzled we looked back through all of our messages with her and even on her website and no where did it state this policy. Eventually we got our deposit back and I can say that I do not recommend this breeder. I'm sure that there is nothing wrong with her puppies but the way we were treated was not okay. She needs to learn to be more upfront with her customers, to respond to their requests, and listen to their requests instead of wasting their time. read more

I contacted Bella mini doodles when I saw one of its dogs was up for adoption on Instagram. I assumed that a reputable breeder would want know one of theirs dogs was trying to be re-homed. They responded that "wow this is a first" but I later saw the dog up with a dog rescue. I hope that the rescue has more care than Bella with the home they put it in. read more

We couldn't be happier with our experience with Bella Mini Doodles. Janelle was informative, knowledgable and obviously places priority on the quality of puppies that she sells. After interviewing multiple breeders as we searched for our puppy, Janelle was the first one who not only answered our questions but also interviewed us to make sure we were a good fit, which showed us immediately how highly she values the puppies, ie. she isn't just trying to sell them, she actually cares about the family they're going into. Our girl, Whiskey, is the smartest dog either of us has ever had, and we can't imagine life without her. People stop us on the street to know what kind she is- she's that beautiful and well-behaved. We found the process to be simple from start to finish- much of our communication with Janelle was via text, which was helpful with our busy schedules. If you're willing to pay for the best of the best when it comes to mini golden doodles, this breeder is the way to go. This review is long overdue, but our family has 3 mini goldendoodles from Bella Mini doodles. Our daughter-in-law did months of research when they were looking for a breeder, and decided on Janelle. We all fell in love with their dog, and then a year later, another member of our family decided to get one from Janelle too. He is also an amazing dog, and we dog sit for him often and a year later, we decided to get one ourselves. They are all very different personalities, but all are incredibly sweet, smart, funny and loving dogs. I have owned dogs my whole life, and there is just something about this one that makes him truly special. I believe it is the time and attention Janelle gives each puppy from the day they are born, until the day they go home with their new family. I know there have been some complaints about the process from other reviewers, but I will say this- I would rather have a breeder who is overly concerned with selecting the right people to place her puppies with, than a breeder who doesn't care. The application process is long and detailed, yes. There is often little communication for months, yes. She has very firm policies and spells them all out on her website. She charges a fortune, yes. It is all a LOT to deal with, but it's for good reason. A few months of frustration is a small trade-off for the incredible, sweet, loving new member of your family.
