Deceptive or Dangerous? I have had dogs for 40 years and have NEVER experienced such a terrible place. When inquiring about available pups, Rick spent 45 min talking about his selection process which is the most ridiculous and biased process I have ever heard of. He gives you the moms due date and you have to text at 9am on that day. He selects owners by who gets their texts in to him first. He gives you a very long lecture about cell phone text transmission and how to be competitive in his process. Well, what happens is if the pups are not born, and by the way, they are NEVER born on the due date he gives you, he then tells you to try again the next day at 9am then gives you the order the text came in. You have to take his word for it. One day you could be 1 and then next day you could be 16 in line. This can go on for DAYS! So, he is either LYING about when the pups are due OR he is putting his females in DANGER by allowing them to go 5, 6 or 7 days overdue!!!!! A responsible breeder/individual would consult a vet after 2 days of being overdue. NO dog EVER should go over this many days! He does not care what kind of home the dog is going to. He is more concerned about his texting process which seriously has no rhyme or reason, does not speak at all about the home the person can provide and makes a person feel like they must be getting scammed since the dogs are always well over their due dates. Again, lies or enjoys playing games. He spent 45 min talking about his process. If I didn't ask questions, I would have walked away with alleged due date, cost and an unneccessary lesson on cell phone transmission. I finally had to interrupt and ask questions about the mom, dad, breed, and other information. He does not care about finding the right homes for his pups. If you are stupid enough to play this game for days, he then determines that you are a good fit for his dogs. ok, how does the quality of the home or person have anything to do with how many days you played his texting game?? He only cares about his twisted texting games and the money. NO health guarantee. Restricted AKC registration unless you want to PAY an extra large amount - $600-$800 in addition to $1200-1500 per pup..but still no guarantees that the dogs are breedable..so what is the large sum for other than his pocket? There are so many reputable, caring and trusted breeders out there..this is not one of them. I quickly found another breeder who couldn't have been more professional and caring about the breed and about what type of life we will provide. STAY AWAY read more
