However, I don't think there is any affiliation between the two. Yet, the HESS Club is a venue hall that has served well to accommodate our company Christmas party each year. I like how parking is self park, but like other yelpers have mentioned, a bit odd, especially driving up that steep ramp to enter the parking area, so you may actually prefer to find street parking. However, when you enter you are greeted to a well maintained venue, and since we come in the winter, they even have a real fire going in the fireplace! I believe they have quite a few banquet rooms, but we always use the one on the left when you enter to sit down and eat and the long banquet room across the way to get our food and beverages. When it comes to the food, the chicken was a bit dry which wasn't a surprise, but I did enjoy the mac and cheese and buttery mashed potatoes as well as the fried catfish and the broccoli/squash medley. The coffee was also tasty, and complimented the large assortment of desserts. Also, I love how attentive the staff were, thanks for always making sure those chafing dishes were full or that I always had hot water when needed and for clearing out our dishes so quickly!

Parking and walking up to it was strange. Just didn't feel like I was about to attend a wedding reception. But once you enter, it's your typical banquet hall. Overall, the place is ideal for smaller weddings, and decorations are all up to you and your designer, but this event looked nice, there are multiple rooms, and a bar.

The owner was responsive to questions and potential concerns. The event coordinators helped us incorporate our own personal touches to make the experience unique and personalized to us. They helped give our daughter a fabulous celebration. We highly recommend this facility for parties, weddings and similar events!

We planned for over a year, and Maggie and her team made the entire experience seamless. Even when we had to reschedule due to pregnancy, Maggie kept great communication and gave us the flexibility to plan at our own pace. It included food, cake, photographer, videographer, DJ, bartender, security, decorations, and more--all at a reasonable cost. The only things we provided were drinks, flowers (optional), and coolers. All the vendors were fantastic, and the venue itself was beautiful and well maintained. We couldn't be happier with our experience and highly recommend Batres Grand Venue and Maggie!

I can be a bit much, but Hope knew this and she was incredibly accommodating and handled my over the top vision with so much care. What really brought it all to the most memorable moment and perfect close was Hope being led by the Holy Spirit to pray for my baby. The decor was absolutely stunning, and perfectly matching our vision. DJ Jace constantly checked on us to ensure the music setup went on without a hitch. After dinner, he transitioned from soft R&B to the high-energy line dancing that had the graduates and others moving to the beat. Thank you to Hope and Rev's Event Center for making this milestone so memorable. If you are looking for a venue that will go above and beyond to make your special day flawless, look no further!

If you have a vision for something or a desire for something to happen, this is a great place. She informed me they are in the process of retiling the floor, and bathrooms can stand updating but for the overall price, decoration, and space, this was a great choice. Owner even donated centerpieces as a gift to hubby and I, along with other items she made available for usage. I was truly amazed by the use of the space, (which I included catering, dj, and a photographer in), and how beautiful everything turned out. There was no lottering, littering, or dangerous circumstances in nor near the hall, which makes it a comfortable rental place. It is also required that security be present for all night time events, which is comforting. Hubby was very surprised and happy with the set up and party and for that it was all well worth it.
