What a decadent experience. I'm pleased to say that I had a tremendous experience with " Brittany " at Bella Capelli. I've been to a hair salon a grand total of 4 times in my life. I have had the same guy cut my hair for about 20 years now and it is not an elegant salon, to say the least. But while on vacation in Napa my wife and I splurged and got the full treatment. It is still weird for me to let someone else cut my hair...let alone wash it as well...but Brittany was so professional and comforting I soon relaxed and let her do her magic to my hair. What an overall awesome experience from start to finish. My wife also raved about her time at the spa. Went for pedicures twice. Both times was notified tech was half hour late and I had to wait or reschedule. Because of her other clients being tardy. The second time I went, I asked the tech if she had a late policy when her first clients are late. She immediately got huffy, said how dare I "tell her how to do her job". ( I asked a question- that's all). She got super defensive and hostile. "I'm a human being" she cried then told me I was not to tell her how to run her business.. THEN asked me if I wanted to leave.!!?? What?? I'm here after waiting another half hour for her, changed my day, mask a benign question and you want to kick me out!!?? Whoa! The reaction was SO over the top, she obviously was having a bad day. I kept my cool was quiet and got my pedicure. Thanked her at the end for the nice job. Left a tip too! I wrote a letter to the Manager as I got YELLED at by this tech, it was incredibly rude treatment. At 65, she's was younger- you don't yell at elders who ask a question. the lack of professionalism and level of immaturity was very shocking. I did not receive follow up or an apology from the tech nor a reply from my letter to the Manager. My time is valuable and i will never go back to a salon that yells at clients and doesn't do anything to rectify a bad situation. Don't recommend the nail tech, who also does hair. So if her hair appointment is late you get pushed off. Time management is the key here. Do better and be KIND! read more

I have been coming here for years and always see Crystal Cross (although I'm sure everyone there is great). She's amazing at gentle color (even if you want it bold and bright!) and perfect cuts. She's hyper-aware of the damage that color and highlights can do to your hair and goes the extra mile to minimize it. I always leave the salon with super soft, super conditioned, picture-perfect hair. This is a Kerastase salon and if you're not familiar with that brand, you should be! It's hands down the best for hair care (The Duchess of Cambridge, Catherine even loves it). Ask for a Kerastase treatment after your color. It's a quick, inexpensive treatment you'll never want to go without. They also sell Shu Uemura which is another hard to get brand. The salon itself sells a huge selection of hair and body care products you can't find elsewhere. They also have a boutique of sorts. Beautiful, handcrafted handbags, wallets, hair accessories, and jewelry. They even had some adorable redesigned Minnie ears that would have been perfect if I was headed to Disneyland. You never know what you'll find and there is always something new every time I go in. If you're looking for a new salon you should definitely give Bella Capelli a call and don't forget to ask for Crystal. :) read more

Definitely recommend going in, they have a lot of services that I browsed through when I was there and will be making an appointment in the future. When I was there, I also met Charlene, who is a hair stylist. Talked with her for a bit and decided to book an appointment and try her out. I had my eyebrows waxed here last week by Kathy & think she did a great job. I was visiting my parents from OOT and forgot to get beautified before leaving the East Coast. Kathy was professional, soft-spoken & friendly. The treatment room had a super comfy table and the wax was virtually painless. I did have some "skin lifting" on my R eyebrow 2ndary to a rx medicine- not Kathy's fault at all. She told me to put neosporin on it for a few days and it looks just fine now. This is my first ever review because I don't usually do this but I just want to warn about the lack of professionalism and friendliness in this place. I went to get a Keratin treatment for my hair which they said it cost $300 and they ended up charging me $400 because of my curly hair. I did not mind that because I was excited to have smoother hair and they explained to me that it will make my hair 50% more straight. However, a day after the treatment my hair got extremely frizzy and curly like nothing was done to it. While other hairstylists told me that this should not happen. I tried texting Brittney, who did the treatment and she would ignore all my messages when I just needed an explanation to why my hair doesn't feel any different. I also tried to go to the salon and she would not talk to me. She raised her voice at me and asked me to leave the salon. All I wanted is for her to respond to my concerns and help explain why my hair turned the way it did. The owner ended up calling me days later but she did not offer any solutions or anything at all. Her way of talking was also very rude and she did not care how she treated her customers. She said she would call me after talking to Britney but she never did and it's been over 2 weeks. I lost over $400 and my hair looks worse than it ever did. read more

HIGHLY recommend Seanna (pronounced Shaw-na) for your cut (& color)!! She'll consult with you and talk over what you want before hand. We talked about cutting off 5-6" of my hair, I showed a few photos, and she nailed exactly what I was hoping for! I had layers and wanted a blunt cut & she made it work perfectly and also said how we could work on it in the future once it grows out more too. She's super sweet, professional, has a great background from an amazing salon in San Francisco before working here and you can see her experience in her work. You can tell she's really passionate too. Love the way she styled my hair at the end of the cut too, those impossible to recreate at home, gorgeous beachy curls. She did try to teach me how to do it while she was doing it, so I'm working on it! My mom also got her hair cut & colored with Seanna & it came out AMAZING. Natural looking highlights with dimension and a great cut. And my mom's hair is normally basically impossible to color (turning white, or copper). So disappointed. Called for an appointment for a trim, I live a block from the salon; got an appointment and a text response. We discussed I'd been there before, she found my profile. I called back in five minutes to change my appointment time. I arrived for my appointment on time with no greeter to check me in. Finally after 10 minutes of waiting someone arrived to tell me I was never put on the schedule! I showed the girl the confirmation text I received, but she couldn't find it in her system. TERRIBLE is an understatement for Holly on what was supposed to be a very important and memorable day for my family. My parents were renewing their vows and hired Holly to do my sister and i's hairs at our home in Yountville. She entered our with a sour attitude and unprepared. Did not bring her flat iron, what professional hairstylist comes to a job without tools?! Came with only one curling iron and a couple of bottles of product. She curled our hair and which turned out horribly and the curls fell within 10 minutes, I NEVER have an issue with my hair holding curls. Same happened with my sister and she stated not knowing why this was the case. I was ready late, missed pre-wedding photos and both my sister and I hated our hair. We attempted to fix it, but you can only do so much without re-washing. I don't know about the other stylist, but Holly I would not recommend to anyone. I cried in front of her and I guess the worst part is my parents paid over 400$ to have our hair ruined, I do a better job and I don't consider myself a hair professional.
