Throughout the years I have had times where I have had to get my hair done elsewhere and one thing with Gabe is he can do my blonde, and my long hair never turns out dry or damaged feeling....I honestly don't know how he does it. I always leave the salon feeling beautiful and super blonde just like I love. My hair is healthy which is difficult to maintain being heavily highlighted every six weeks and this is all thanks to Gabe's skill and knowledge. Gabe takes really great care of me.... however I would feel comfortable seeing anyone in his salon. They are all very educated and knowledgeable. I cannot say enough good things about this salon and their staff. Amazing business for sure. 100/10 stars!

After spending a lot of time trying to make it look presentable each day, I did some research online and on Yelp. That's when I found the many positive reviews for Lox and Hue Salon on Placerville Drive. I made an appointment with Jaimie, initially planning to get a perm because I thought adding body might solve my hair issues. During my appointment, Jaimie took the time to discuss my concerns, how I typically styled my hair, the products I used, and the time I spent on my daily routine. After carefully evaluating my hair and listening to my goals, she recommended against a perm. Instead, she suggested a cut that would better suit my hair and texturize the heavier, unmanageable areas. After a relaxing shampoo, a great cut, and a beautiful style, I left the salon feeling happier and more confident than I had in a long time. Jaimie did an amazing job, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stylist who truly listens and knows how to make hair work for you. My only disappointment is that I don't live nearby and can't return to her regularly. However, whenever I'm in the area, I will definitely be making another appointment with Jaimie!

Late Sunday night around 11pm, I started desperately searching Yelp for salons near me with great reviews. I kept seeing amazing things about Lox & Hue Hair Salon, so I decided to trust the reviews. Using AI, I sent messages to three salons -- including Lox & Hue. I heard back from another salon first, but first thing Monday morning I received a message from Jaimie, the owner of Lox & Hue. She told me she was on her way into the salon and would let me know if they had any openings that day. She was immediately on it. When I explained in my message how upset and devastated I was about my hair, Jaimie went out of her way to work me in. I was already so grateful before I even walked through the door. I ended up seeing Kathleen, and the second she smiled and said hello, I just knew I had found my salon. She is so sweet, incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and so easy to talk to. She took the time to go over everything with me before doing anything at all -- explaining the plan, asking questions, and making sure I was comfortable and confident with every step. When she finished... I'll admit, I cried again -- but this time happy tears. My hair turned out beautiful, blended perfectly, and better than I ever expected after what I went through. I am so thankful to both Kathleen and Jaimie. They didn't just fix my hair -- they restored my confidence and completely saved my New Year's. I will forever be grateful and will absolutely be a loyal client going forward. If you're on Yelp searching and wondering where to go -- this is your sign.

Trista was extremely kind and helpful through our phone exchanges - especially since I am the definition of vague requests... She even was patient with me as bridesmaids changed their minds not wanting and then wanting services. She said she could do 3 BMs, my mother, and myself - within my time constraints and all without knowing what we all wanted :) CRAZY. I got to meet her the day before the wedding to do a trial run - and again with my vague ideal wedding style - she HOOKED ME UP. Guys, she listened to me, she offered up her own creative twist, and made me feel so pretty. The day of, she came to my wedding suite bright and early, and started work on the maids and mom, with me in the middle. I couldn't even begin to tell you how funny and great she is. She breezed through everyone's hair so quickly - all my maids LOVE LOVE LOVED their hair and so did my Mom :) I don't even think I got to hug her goodbye (as it was a crazy day) but guys, if you are looking for a phenomenal stylist who knows her work - I definitely recommend the Crimson Rose. Trista runs a tight shop and it's beautiful vintage-y feel is just what you need to relax and let the professionals handle it. I genuinely want to come back and do a dye job with Trista (when I can make it back out). I would recommend her to anyone. She is amazing.
