Derrick is a design genius! Not only does he understand the esthetics of what type and color blinds will work best, but his pricing for top of the line products competes with other companies mid level products. So easy to work with, no hidden fees. Beautiful blinds, quick install, love the results! Thanks Derrick!! read more

Derek installed faux wood blinds today on seven of our windows, and they look amazing! I am so impressed by the quality of the blinds, they look much more expensive than what we paid for (Derek's prices are very reasonable, too). The blinds came in earlier than expected and from the beginning to the end, Derek was professional, informative and helpful! I would definitely recommend Bella Blinds! read more

Derek Van de Water is an absolute pro! Not only does he do outstanding work, he's efficient and actually provides an opinion when asked. Pretty unusual when so many installers don't talk through design ideas & overall projects. Upon having Derek in our home & making a minimal deposit, he said the blinds should arrive in a few days. Would you believe he actually called me 3 days later ready to schedule the install?! So awesome! From there Derek showed up on-time & even provided me time to clean the windows & sills before putting in the replacements. He's all about doing it right. I enthusiastically recommend Derek & Bella Blinds :-) read more

It was a pleasure dealing with Bella Blinds. Call and setup appointment, select what you want and have it installed. No pressured up-selling or any other lame sales techniques, which I hate. It was a very straight forward ordering and installation process. read more

Had Bella Blinds replace Hunter Douglas blinds that were almost 20 years old. Derek did a great job. Our large window in the kitchen faces east so that room, in the summer is always hotter than the rest of the house. Derek suggested putting a sun filter film on the Windows. What a difference. First of all you can hardly tell anything is on the window but when the sun comes up in the morning our kitchen is cool. read more

Derek is the real deal! Don't waste your time with other Shade and Blind installers. Derek recently installed multiple shutters in our new home. He was extremely professional in his communication with us during the entire process. Definitely will use him again in the future when the time comes. Thanks Derek! read more

The representatives at Bella Blinds do not act in a professional manor. Very rude. Very bad customer service. I ended up going with Budget Blinds and they were great. Not because of price either. I didn't even get far enough in the process to get a price. Budget Blinds just treated us in a decent, compassionate way. read more

Excellent work and service. We got blinds, shades and shutters from Bella Blind and can't be any happier. The remote controlled shades are superb. Derek is very detailed and informative. He made sure we were aware of all our options and made right decisions. Even after installation, he provides after service whenever we have problems or questions. We never wrote a review on Yelp but thought we had to express our gratitude for great work. read more

We've been shopping around for shutters and blinds for our new home but no luck - until our neighbors recommended Derek from Bella Blinds to us. Out of all companies that I've reached out, Derek is efficient, honest, straight and most importantly, his service is excellent! We set up an appointment within a week and he gave me the quote on the spot. His price is very competitive and he won't sell you something just because the price is higher. He really cares about what will look good in your house and make great recommendation. He's the owner and I guess that what makes him stand out. Our shutters arrived shortly after 6 weeks and we absolutely love them !!!! Will definitely use him again and recommend Bella Blinds to everyone! Thank you Derek!!!! read more

Derek did a fantastic job on our valances. He has a tremendous eye for picking the perfect color, pattern and texture to coordinate and match with existing blinds, cabinets and furniture. He takes pride in his quality work and is very conscientious. We appreciated the great customer service Derek displayed by always answering the phone when we called him and honoring appointments with us. When he came for the initial consultation, he walked us carefully through different ideas for patterns and we ended up picking the pattern that Derek initially recommended. We are thrilled with the outcome! Everything matches perfectly in our great room and kitchen areas. Can't wait to have Derek help us with drapery for other rooms down the road. read more

Derrick n Bella Blinds is the best quality n price you will find in Orange County hands down. He did all the blinds in both my house and my moms house. My mom had called 3 different places n got bids from all of the. Derrick matched blind brands apple to apple at nearly half the price. Professional, on time and trust worthy!!! Also, he owns the business and is a one man show. Hence he takes pride in his work and treats you as a client rather than a number. This isn't any 3 day blinds experience. This a professional who is looking to support himself and his family through hard work, a quality product and an affordable price. I am also having him tint the windows on the whole back half of my house. If you get multiple bids, I encourage you to Include Derrick and Bella Blinds. A first class operation!!! And besides, SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL SMALL BUSINESS read more

Look NO further if you are having window coverings installed! Derek is absolutely great at what he does not to mention just a stand up guy. Everything from our initial walk through to the installation of blinds/shutters was flawless and all on time (despite being the holiday season!). I told Derek my budget and he never tried to push me above - just gave me honest advice about how to best use the budget I had. I always felt comfortable with him being in my house and genuinely enjoyed his company. He's the best! read more

Derek did a great job on helping to pick out our blinds and installing them. He even removed our drapery rods, filled in holes, painted over them and tightened up all our wood shutters. He went beyond the call of duty. He's the best! Very reasonable quote and wonderful customer service. He showed up on time, and very neat and fast with the installation. Steve, his helper was also very nice and professional. Would definitely recommend Bella Blinds. read more

Derek was prompt, professional, and completed a simple blind wand replacement for a large window. I would certainly use him again!

After getting two quotes from other window covering installers, I spotted a review that prompted me to call Bella Blinds. We are so happy I did. Derek helped us select the window coverings that really went with our décor. (I was totally clueless.) We needed shutters, shades, and bedroom/bathroom blinds. He has a great sense of color and helped me select a lovely bamboo valence and a motorized shade for a large kitchen window. We also now have an attractive valence and shade for a large sliding glass door. The high quality composite shutters in the living room, upstairs office, and guest room are absolutely beautiful and have transformed our home. We also love the composite blinds in the master bedroom and bath. Best of all, Derek's prices were by far the best we had gotten, and for much higher-quality products. He has promptly come out twice to do repairs after some flood repair and window installations. For one call he refused payment, and for the other he charged very little. I am so grateful to have found Bella Blinds and am recommending this company to all my friends and neighbors. read more

Bella Blinds was awesome. Derek walked us through our options and brought us to the best value for our budget. We went with some of the options he has. Delivery of the product was split, so Derek did two separate installations at no extra cost. He also took care of a lot of extra details when he installed our shutters, like filling in holes left by the old window coverings and hauling away the old stuff for us. He did everything except some minor paint retouching. Everything is in, it works and it looks great. I would recommend Bella Blinds to anyone. I should add that I regard 5 stars as perfection so I rarely rate anything that high. That is the only reason that I didn't rate Bella Blinds 5 stars. read more

I was referred to Bella Blinds by a friend. Derick's prices were very fair and he showed us many products from which to choose. He never tried to up-sale and gave us his honest opinion. We are more than pleased with his professionalism, his business style, his product and of course, the final outcome. You will not be disappointed if you do business with Derek and Bella Blinds. read more
