He did a great job in explaining different choices for different areas in the house and took into consideration my dog who jumps at the patio sliding door. When he was done I pretty much had my mind made up on vinyl blinds on the kitchen window and patio door. With shutters in the rest of the rooms. He came back to take measurements and explain different choices on the shutters. There were a few things that I had to ponder about and Eric gave me his opinions/suggestions. It took about four months for the shutters to be ready (made overseas). I thought it was a long time but it seems to be the norm these days. I could have paid an extra $300 to have it done in a month but decided I wasn't in a hurry. The installers Johnny and Luis were super efficient and very nice. They did a great job with installation. They couldn't install the shutters on one of windows and told me Eric would be in touch. First thing the next morning I received an email from Eric apologizing saying he had made an error and he would have the shutters redone. He paid to have the shutters done in the shorter time (four weeks). Johnny and Luis came back yesterday and installed the last shutter. It took them 15 minutes. The first company I dealt with left me with more questions than answers when their rep finished his pitch. Eric on the other hand did such a good job in explaining everything I had very few questions. The shutters and blinds look great. Highly recommend.

During our consultation, I felt uncomfortable with how defensive the conversation became when we discussed obtaining multiple bids and comparing options. For a project of this size (34+ windows), I believe it's reasonable for homeowners to ask detailed questions, compare vendors, and carefully evaluate products, pricing, and installation approaches before making a decision. Rather than helping us understand the differences between available options, the conversation felt increasingly tense and dismissive, particularly when discussing our use of AI generated visuals to help refine the design direction we are trying to achieve. After scheduling a consultation, Gina later that same day decided not to take on the project, which is certainly her prerogative, and I appreciate that she communicated that before any work began. That said, the experience left me with the impression that questions, comparison shopping, and our personal decision making process were viewed negatively rather than as a normal part of a significant home investment. Future customers should be aware that if they are seeking multiple bids, conducting extensive research, or using modern tools to help evaluate design options, their experience may differ from what they expect from other vendors.

Great customer service and everyone I spoke with was very nice and professional…read more However, I am extremely unhappy with the actual installation and final product. First, the installation team left without addressing the cracks/damage to my windowsill. They obviously saw the damage but did not mention it or let me know that someone would be scheduled to come back and fix it. I had to call the company myself and send pictures before they sent someone out. When they came back, all they did was sand down the damaged area and fill it in. I am also very disappointed with the fit of the shutters. I was told afterward that the shutters are not custom-sized and that the gap around them is "industry standard" because of the sizing of new-build windows. The gap is large enough that you can actually see the screws, which makes the shutters look like they were not properly sized for the window. What makes this even more disappointing is that their website advertises "custom shutters" and describes their shutters as having a "perfect fit." Someone came to my home to measure my windows before I purchased them, so I was under the impression that the shutters would be custom measured and ordered specifically for my windows. I was also told that I would have to wait weeks for the shutters because they needed to be ordered in the correct size. The final result does not look or feel like a custom, perfect-fit installation. When someone finally came out to address the damaged windowsill, I was also told that if I wanted to cover the large gap, I should purchase a weather stripping product from Amazon and install it myself. I was very surprised that after spending $1,500 on two windows, I was being directed to purchase something myself to make the shutters look properly finished. Had I known beforehand that there would be a noticeable gap, visible screws, and that I would essentially need to add my own weather stripping to make the installation look finished, I would have purchased from a different company. I spent approximately $1,500 on shutters for just two windows, so I expected a much better fit and finish. I understand that some clearance may be necessary for installation, but the large gap and visible screws are not what I expected from a company advertising custom shutters and a perfect fit. Overall, while the customer service was pleasant, I am extremely disappointed with the final product and the way the installation issues were handled. I wish the expectations regarding sizing, gaps, and installation had been made clear before I made the purchase.
