Fashion interiors at the Irvine location is totally amazing. They go out of their way to help you and get what you need no matter how small it is and just an accessory rather than a big item. Courtney in particular was extremely helpful, pleasant, and efficient I would highly recommend them to anyone and I will certainly be recommending them to my friends and going there again and again with my wife Azim read more

I contacted Fashion Interior in November 2025 for drapery for my living room. Amanda Esquer came to my home and told me she would email estimates . In home visit Amanda told me you need to come to our showroom and pick fabric and everything else. I went to the showroom on January 14, 2026 and selected everything needed for the drapery. Amanda said she would email the final estimate within a couple of days. After 21 days with no response, I had to follow up myself. Her response was that they were "very busy with high volume" and that she would send the estimate within a couple of hours. That explanation didn't add up. If they were that busy, why the estimate could suddenly be produced immediately after I followed up? If you were that busy how could you call me right after you got my follow up text message!!!!! This experience was unprofessional and a complete waste of my time. Between the poor communication, long delays, and excessive pricing, I lost all trust in this company. I decided not to move forward and do not recommend Fashion Interior to anyone. read more

Sean was very professional. He gave us a reasonable quote and the shutters looks great. I highly recommend fashion interior.

We recently purchased a Lutron roller shades and Sean helped us. He went above and beyond in getting the technology set up, and the shades look and work amazing! In the past we purchased shutters, and Ruthie helped us and the installation helped with a slight customization on one of our windows. I definitely recommend Fashion Interiors for roller shades and shutters. read more

Extremely expensive, motor died in 5 years and management treated me like they did me a favor by replacing the motor complimentary. Service charges exorbitantly expensive. Poor communication from management until they try to argue with you about how much of a favor they've done for you - then they have to continue to get the last word. Will never give them a dime of my money again. read more

Surprised by the negative reviews as our experience with Sean Hemmati (the Senior Design Consultant) was excellent from start to finish. Sean was professional, pleasant, and very approachable. He brought a calm confidence to the process and was clearly knowledgeable about all types of window coverings, shades, and smart home technology. He took the time to listen to what we were looking for, answered all our questions thoroughly, and made helpful suggestions without ever being pushy. We felt like we were in great hands the whole time. Highly recommend working with Sean if you want someone who knows their stuff and makes the process smooth and enjoyable! read more

Ruth Soto at Fashion Interiors has taken the time to give us good solutions for decorating and outfitting all the windows on the second story. She was helpful and patient to guide us through the process. We have a couple of uneven windows and Ruth explained the alternatives available to best correct the situation. Fashion Interiors pricing was also competitive for the materials we chose. Thank you Ruth! read more

After unsuccessfully attempting to find a Roman shade at a big-box store, I wanted to find a showroom where I could see and feel the products. I wasn't interested in having someone come with a bunch of books to look at. That was partly because I didn't feel like I could really get an idea of what the shade would look like and also because the shade was for a rental property. I found Fashion Interiors in Irvine and met with Ruth Soto. She listened to the things I had to say and helped me find the perfect shade. Her advice was very valuable. She met me at the property later that day and took the measurements. The shade looks wonderful and my tenants are very pleased with it. Installation was a breeze. Leo, the installer, is very nice and professional - the installation was flawless and quick. I definitely recommend using this company and will seek Ruth out for future window covering needs. The product is a good quality and the price was reasonable. Thanks again, Ruth! read more

Poor customer service. Called this place twice to get some help with ordering a part. Spoke to two different people and never got a call back from the last person. read more

As a busy professional, I am taking time to write this review because potential customers need to be warned about the business practices of this company before initiating business with them. Wish we could give ZERO stars. We had a terrible experience with this store, quite possibly the worst customer service experience ever. Read on to find out about their business practices and how this will put your project at risk. There is a complete lack of transparency regarding their prices, payments, price matching, and discounts. Any promises made to customers in writing by one of their representatives are later refuted for no reason by the store manager, and no explanation is ever given. Their website offers "price matching", however when respectfully requesting it, with adequate documentation, we received a half page email from Ruth, the store manager, telling us that they are "making accommodations outside of our typical policies" to meet our request. Seriously?? Then why are they posting a "price matching" policy on their website when it's so hard to respect their own policies and promises? Most concerningly, their customer service and payment policies are unpredictable and unprecedented, like nothing else we've seen in the industry. Their payment schedule is to pay 90% of the cost of window treatments PRIOR to allowing the customer to see the deliverables and ensure the contract specifications are met. They call these "progress payments", thus charging the customer 90% of the total price BEFORE allowing the customer to see & inspect the product they paid for. The usual industry practice is to charge 40-50% upfront as downpayment, and the remaining amount at the time of installation, and only AFTER the customer has a chance to inspect the items delivered. According to California Department of General Services, "progress payments" are made "pending satisfactory completion of the purchase transaction or a separate and distinct task" - here is the link to "Progress Payments - 1901.3" on the DGS website: https://www.dgs.ca.gov/PD/Resources/SCM/TOC/19/19-01-3 However these guys are calling "progress payments" those made two weeks before installation, and BEFORE seeing the product. We wrote to the store manager to ask if before making the "progress payment" we could come to their store, ensure that the window treatments are done according to the contracted scope and specifications, and then pay right afterwards. Although this was extremely accommodating on our part, they said NO, that we need to make the progress payments BLINDLY, before seeing the product, two weeks before installation. In other words it's only after making the progress payments ie 90% of full price, BLINDLY, that they would install the window treatments, at which time you would finally have your first opportunity to see the window treatment you ordered and paid for. This is completely unacceptable and inappropriate since charging 90% of a product's total cost without the customer's acceptance is not according to industry's business practices if you look at the CGS link above. Additionally all other contractors in the industry charge only 40-50% upfront, followed by remaining portion of total cost at time of installation. After expressing our concern that we are asked to pay 90% of the full cost BLINDLY, without being allowed to inspect the product in person, IN RETALIATION they told us they will no longer conduct business with us. We knew better not to proceed with them - since these services should be based on trust and if they didn't keep their promises before we signed the contract with them, and they refused us our basic right to inspect the product before paying, you can imagine that afterwards it could become worse in terms of unkept promises, standing by their product etc. Dubious customer service practices, retaliation, unkept promises, putting policies up on their website that they question later, calling their own store policies "making accommodations outside of our typical policies", and disallowing customers to check their deliverables before paying 90% of total cost of contracted items, are all very concerning and should give you the full picture of this business. Please text us via Yelp or Google if you would like us to share our email communications with Sean, Ruth, and Marjan. read more

August 15, 2023 two weeks ago I reached out on Yelp at 8:30 PM at night for a quote or for someone to come out and provide me a quote for measuring window treatment for my newly remodeled kitchen not less than five minutes I received a response from Ruth. I told her I really appreciate her quick response and I knew it was late but if we can schedule a future date for her to come out to provide me measurements inland a quote, she did not hesitate. She made the appointment for the very next day after I was off work . Ruth exceeded our expectations. not only was she knowledgeable informative with excellent customer service. She has a great personality. it's really hard to find someone that is passionate about their work.with excellent customer service . We also learned a few things about window treatment. Fantastic experience fantastic quality very professional highly recommend skilled knowledgeable happy customer

Fashion Interiors is very professional and has been excellent with communication and care for their clients! They came to our home to install new shutters in our master bathroom and upstairs walkthrough area where our cat seemed to want to step through onto our second story railing. Sean came out to take a look at our predicament, and thought the shutters would be the solution and it was. Our cat no longer steps through that area and even though cats do land on their feet, she has slipped many times before!! In addition, we had accidently ordered the incorrect color for the shutters, and soon thereafter Omar came to our home to diagnose and place a new order. The team looks to help you find solutions and not the least bit aggressive or presumptive. Because of my wonderful experience, my mother needed new drapery for her living and dining room. The sun exposure had torn away at the inside lining after more than two decades of wear and tear. We met Sean again at the showroom and he had a few options for us to review. Sean is kind, respectful and helpful. We did settle on a fabric that he recommended. He then came to my mom's house for a preliminary measurement and we decided on another fabric he brought which makes the house even more brighter and cheery! Memo came to install today, and everything looks perfect! Sean even discounted the order since we are repeat clients without hesitation. We are so pleased with the professionalism, quality and care that Fashion Interiors embodies. Thank you Fashion Interiors!! read more

While we didn't order window decor from this place, we did use them to service our Hunter Douglas Skyline product. Omar was awesome!!! He was responsive and got a technician out to our house the next business day. Then he kept me up to date on the status of our replacement, as well as quickly scheduled installation once the product was shipped. I couldn't have been more pleased with the level of service and communication. Thank you! read more

Fashion Interiors went above and beyond to help us with our motorized shades. We had purchased our motorized shades at another retailer and unfortunately a small piece had broken on the mechanism. Where we purchased it was poorly responsive to our needs so we brought the piece over to Fashion Interiors. They went out of their way to help us and gave us the replacement piece we needed. We are very grateful and when we need new shades we will be sure to utilize this company! A great company! read more

I have purchased most of my furniture from this store. Drove by their windows and saw their furniture. The next day I went in and fell in love with the furniture. A nice young man greeted me who was the manager, Carlos very friendly, very knowledgeable and gave me great pricing on the furniture I bought and I have returned numerous times for more furniture. Excellent quality and service. I highly recommend them for their unique, affordable and stylish furniture that appeals to everyone's taste, from modern to traditional furniture, lighting and accessories. read more

Fashion Interiors - Stunning entertainment center, cocktail table, rug, ottomans and swivel chairs. - Shades & Blinds Near Me - Irvine, California

Found them by chance through a Google search. The first thing to know about them is if you have a low voltage outlet for your shade/screens, they know how to do it. Everyone else I had talked to were busy trying to sell me battery powered shades, which is honestly pretty stupid if you have an outlet to permanently power your shades. I worked with two main reps on their team, Sean and Omar. Sean was extremely patient and priced out multiple options, so we could make the best choices. We mixed and matched a lot trying to figure out optimal pricing, and he always happily generated more quotes for us. He even went into the showroom on a Saturday to give us plenty of time to look at the products they had. I didn't actually ever meet Omar in person, but he was extremely responsive by email and by phone. Once everything was installed, he even called us to follow up and check on how the install went. We weren't without hiccups though. One of our shades was out of stock, and the installation ultimately got pushed back once or twice. We were also given "estimated" times for our appointments ("we'll be there around 2" or "I think we will have an opening at 4"). Small hassles to work around. Definitely no dealbreakers. Overall, I'm exhilarated by the quality of the shutters, blinds, and shades that we received as well as the workmanship during the install. The installers were professionals. When they found a defect in one of the products, they immediately offered to order a new one. Nice and friendly guys too. One thing I didn't like, though, was that the showroom had the best brands/products on display, but when we were going through the process, they offered cheaper alternatives but had none of those on display. I understand most people make their decisions based on price, so it makes complete sense to offer the alternatives, but not having any full samples on display in the showroom made that final decision difficult. I ultimately opted for the brand name shutters/blinds and have no regrets for paying a premium. As mentioned, they are niceee. read more

I recently purchased an exterior motorized shade for my patio and interior Luminette privacy sheers for sliding glass doors from Fashion Interiors. I worked with Sean on both items who was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, and helpful in making selections and answering all of our questions. I highly recommend Sean and Fashion Interiors. read more

Our bedroom's drapery was lacking in many ways, so the wife and I looked for ways to upgrade it. We shopped around and ultimately chose Fashion Interiors. Reasons: 1) Showroom: most other shops was only able to bring a small selection of their fabric samples to our home for us to select from. Fashion Interiors had a showroom where we could browse many many fabric options. 2) Selection: There were many fabrics, hardwares, pleats, etc. styles to select from, compared to other shops. 3) Room Darkening Options: Fashion Interiors not only had blackout liners you could add to your drapery, but also gave more options to reduce light leakage such as drapery overlap and returns. Sean is the drapery specialist there and was very patient, knowledgeable and helpful in meeting our needs. When we noticed some imperfections after the drapery install, he came out with his installer to address all of them. We are overall very satisfied with our new drapery and the service Sean and his team provided. Thank you Sean! read more

Our Church has blackout curtains over a 41 foot span. They were open and closed electrically. That system broke. Fortunately Fashion Interiors, a company that has been in business for 28 years were available. They removed all of the old equipment and replaced a new 41 foot channel. The very heavy curtains were carried on their backs and connected them to the new channel. The work was done very well in only a few hours. These guys were fast, very good and fun to be around. read more

We had previously purchased many Home Depot products for our new home, including Hunter Douglas roller shades. A few years later, we wanted additional roller shades so we obtained a bid from Home Depot and one from Fashion Interiors. They actually beat Home Depot's pricing. Sean was our design consultant who was extremely helpful in getting us the right roller shades for a large sliding glass door. The shades arrived sooner than anticipated, and the installer was scheduled almost immediately. Angel came out and did a great job installing the new shades, cleaned up everything after the job, and everything went very well. I recommend them highly. read more

I was shocked at my experience. Tried to get a measurement scheduled and kept getting the brush off, being told over and over to just come in and look at fabrics. Obviously I would once they measured and gave me an idea of what blind styles would look best in certain rooms. I didn't want to come in ahead of time and end up picking materials that wouldn't end up being used but the woman I spoke with could care less. Kept pushing away from scheduling a measurement any way she could. After all the back and forth over the phone I was finally told the cost of the window treatments would be roughly 2% of the value of my home. $110,000 for blinds.. If I gave lazy, lunatic estimates like that in my industry I'd be the laughing stock. Good riddance. read more

Fashion Interiors installed shades for the windows by my staircase. It was a big job on windows that almost went up to the ceiling and required scaffolding. I was very pleased with the work. I went back to the company for installation of shades and drapes in my living room. Sean Hemmati handled this. He was great to work with and he made sure things went smoothly. The workers also did a great job installing the window dressing. They will soon install drapes in my bedroom. I definitely recommend Fashion Interiors. read more

Ruth at Fashion Interiors was amazing. From my first visit to the showroom, I felt good about working with her. She is knowledgeable about the products, super helpful and very patient. I asked lots of questions, considered several types of window coverings, and never felt pressure to rush to a decision. Sean and his team installed Motorized as well as manual Hunter Douglas curtains for us in Irvine. I must say that they are excellent people to get the job done. Ethical stick to what they say and therefore trustworthy. The curtains arrived in time and they took 30 mins only to install them in the entire house. They gave us the best rate in Orange county. One of the curtains wasn't looking good as the size Of it was off but they replaced it with a new curtain at no cost to us. They have a wide variety of curtains from different companies. I will choose them again in the future worth doing business with them. read more

We purchased our first home earlier this year and as part of getting it ready for us to move in we wanted to replace the old shutters and vinyl blinds with new motorized shades. We found Fashion Interiors, and a few other companies on Yelp. After talking to all of them and getting quotes we decided to give our business to Fashion Interiors. We mainly worked with Sean and Omar, and they were fantastic, very responsive, addressed all our concerns and were able to accomodate all our requests. Even after installation they came back to fix a couple of minor things that we didn't notice on they installation day. We couldn't be happier with the end result. read more

I love Fashion interior! They have unlimited collections of fabrics in their showrooms. Marjan (the owner) even brought many samples to check at my home. I ordered my curtains (one very long from my high ceiling). Orders came on time & installers were all so nice & professional. Few months later I ordered folding shades for my bedroom. Same thing; Extremely satisfied. Recently I wanted to add an awning in my patio. They do that also! Sean their awning specialist came to my house, gave me recommendations & did all the measuring. The orders came even sooner than promised & installed the next day. I am so happy with my choice. I had estimates from other places, with lower quality & not as many selections. They also have very competitive prices :) read more

We made an appointment for in-home consultation and had to rearrange our schedule to make the time for this appointment. The manager, Omar, emailed us to confirm the appointment date and time over a week in advance. On the day of the appointment, the consultant from Fashion Interiors did not show up and did not answer our call for almost 30 minutes! We called the Fashion Interiors main number and again no answer. We called the manager's cell several times and again no answer. We texted both the consultant and the manager to determine the status of the appointment. Finally, the consultant called us saying that he was stuck at another job and he could arrive in another 45 minutes even though he was already 30 minutes late! At that point, we were so frustrated and had other commitments, so we cancelled the appointment. Shortly after this, the manager called and said the consultant could arrive in 30 minutes and apologized, but there was no point. Time is precious and service company should be prompt and communicate well with their customers. If an in-home consultant is going to arrive late, they should contact customer AT LEAST by the time of the scheduled appointment if not sooner instead of leaving the customer in the dark and trying to reach out to the company. This was a very frustrating experience causing us to delay getting much needed blinds installed. We will be going somewhere else. read more

New in the area. Dozens of choices for fabric, curtains, shades and window treatment in general plus free measurements! All the same brands and color choices really. What most could not answer were the technical questions and custom details about feasibility. Most retailers depend on an answer from their rep. A few futile tries and wasting time I say. I went to FI after a field tech pointed me to them! Long story short: impeccable communication and technical knowledge! No rep involvement as Sean, sales, Omar, logistics and Geronimo, field, have their business under total and committed control. No hesitation which seems like a relief in this industry. read more
