That being said I am traveling for work and am totally unfamiliar with this area, nor the degree of aptitude of their services. That being said I went in and received immediate service from a very young gentleman. Solid greeting and smile from this individual, who proceeded to ask what he could help me with. I expressed my issue with the maintenance light and asked if he could possibly run a diagnostic check on my vehicle. He did the diagnostic check printed off the result; which claimed no issues. Stumped of the reason why the maintenance light was on , we batted around some ideas of why. Finally we came to the conclusion that the reason for the light was that before my trip to Amarillo I had received an oil change at Wally World in my home town and they had not reset the oil change indicator notification and Voila mystery solved. Thanks again for stopping my mental breakdown for fear that I was going to have to get a loan to fix my Becarita. Yes that is her name.

Went to get my money back since it cleared my account and they can't find where it posted on their system. Stood in line and on hold for over 40 minutes while corporate kept saying they saw nothing and giving the manager phone numbers for her to call. In the end, she had to leave a message with the details and I have to wait 48 hours for them to determine if I in fact get my money back and then, if I do, another week for them to return it. While it is not this store's fault, I will not walk into another Autozone after this is settled.

Asked if they have security cameras in their shop so they could review and see if something fell on the truck to break the windshield. They said they have no security cameras. We feel they must have insurance to cover the cost of damages to vehicles while in their possession. Will never take another vehicle to the business nor refer any one to them as they showed no respect for our vehicle or concern that our windshield was broke while in their shop.

I went back and forth between this store and my mechanic regarding my warranty. They fought to get out of covering the parts that I had purchased trying to blame the whole issue on my condsener, which was not purchased through this franchise. At one point they had almost agreed to cover my condenser as well, considering it got clogged up due to their faulty compressor. They backed out last minute. I dropped my car off on a Wednesday afternoon and after several calls back and forth with this franchise I finally got a final answer from them the following Tuesday. Franchise owner avoided my calls several times and when I finally reached him he told me there was no one I could speak to above him because he was the franchise owner. I am calling their corporate office as we speak. I would not have had to go through all this if it weren't for their faulty party. Now I have to pay for $400 of labor plus a new condenser. Terrible experience. I've actually never had a worse experience.

Family Camping Center used to be my favorite RV repair place but things have changed. They don't…read moreknow the value of the service manager's communication to the technician. A couple of months ago I took my HVAC controls to them for replacement and was told by the service manager, my controls were no longer made and it would be best if I would replace all parts, including the control box located at the AC. I checked around with several RV repair places and was told the same. I decided to take my RV to Family Camping Center for the repairs since they got it right from the start. When I dropped off the RV, there was different person at the counter and I told them what I needed and that my controls were no longer available. I left knowing it was in the right hands. Little did I know the new service manager lacked knowledge and had not communicated previous information to the technician or the fact my controls were obsolete even after telling them so. When I returned to pick up my RV there was a $500.00 labor bill to replace the parts (a control box at the AC and a thermostat) Previously this business and others told me these would be needed. To say the least, I wasn't very happy. The owner tried to defend their charges by saying the labor was diagnostics and trying to use my old parts. All could have been avoided if service manager had known what they were doing or even listened when I told them my controls were to be replaced. The only positive was owner did knock off $100.00 (1hour) but still charged me 400.00 for a 2 - 3 hour job. I hope for their sake they change their attitude and the service manager learns fast. I've sent many friends to this business in the past but I hesitate to do this in the future.
