We happened to be passing through Amarillo Texas when we saw a truck with redroverrv.com written on the side near a gentleman working on a large class A motor home at the Amarillo RV Ranch. We had several things that needed to be done after our trip to Colorado and we asked the tech if he could stop by after he was done. Though he was obviously very busy he took time to stop by and speak with us and take a look at our furnace. What impressed us is that Matt never tried to sell us anything and was able to quickly resolve our problems while explaining what he was doing and why when we asked about things. Though we could have been able to get through this season with the equipment that we had we decided to have Matt go ahead and replace our 19 year old furnace. We did this because he was a very sincere, friendly, and honest person that also happened to be very good at what he did. We decided that we would rather give our money to this kind of small business owner who clearly deserved it. WOW! First visit to Red Rover, Matt and Josh are just the people my camper needed! Right now (and most of the time) it is difficult to get service at most RV shops in a timely manner as well as friendly advice. The Dometic AC went out on my 2018 Class-B RV. Matt at Red Rover went out of his day to rearrange his day to make it out to me to diagnose the issue in case a new one was required (because it was still under warranty and Dometic's warranty process isn't easy). Matt diagnosed the pro, documented everything very well along with pictures and submitted to Dometic and a new one was received a few days later. Prompt, Courteous and Expert Quality Service In New Mexico en route from Florida to visit eighteen national parks (aka "Eighteen in Eighteen") when our awning wound up over the roof of our Airstream Interstate GS in Amarillo Texas. Fortunately for us, an RV Park neighbor told us to call Matt. Best thing we ever did. He arrived about 30 minutes after our call at 6:30 PM and proceeded to remove the entire thing from the roof of our van, offered to store it for inspection by others, and was as pleasant and courteous as anyone I have ever dealt with. When we were preparing to leave the Oasis RV Resort in Amarillo, one of our slideouts failed to retract. We were stuck and couldn't go. Based on a recommendation from the office staff, I called Matt. We were stopped for the night in Amarillo, TX last August. Our truck camper air conditioner had been making some rattling noises the last couple if years then during a heavy rain storm that night it started leaking water through the filters. I called Matt at Red Rover RV and he came out early the next morning. He quickly found the problem causing the leak but we decided to have him replace the AC since it was a few years old and we didn't want to get stuck with no AC while travelling. This weekend we found ourself in the unfortunate event of needing to repair a neighbor campers Thor motorcoach. No where in Amarillo had the part we needed but we were able to track it down in Dallas and have it delivered and Matt was our guy. In Amarillo. Matt is the best. Called him late at night because we didn't have power after smelling a burning wire and no electricity. He couldn't come out then due to a family emergency. We called with a water heater problem while passing through Amarillo. Though we could not wait for a service call, Matt gave us suggestions on what we could do to troubleshoot the problem. He called back 2 times with more suggestions saying that a clogged water filter could be the problem. After we got home to California, we replaced the main water filter and the water heater problem was solved as he said. Severe winds ripped off a slide topper and damaged the roof on our motorhome, leaving us exposed to the elements and unable to bring in the slide. We found the earlier review for Red Rover on Yelp and gave Matt a call. When I explained our problem, he rescheduled some other work and arrived at our campsite within an hour. He did a great job in making a temporary fix that allowed us to bring in the slide and get the motorhome to a repair shop. We were camped in Palo Duro Canyon and had our awning destroyed on our motor home by an unexpected high wind. Matt came out the next day to dismantle the awning (what was left).
