There are junk haulers all over area, but only so few of them have a rating as high as Junk…read moreBusters. After consulting with Lucas, I quickly understood why. This guy is not only good at what he does, but he provides excellent service on top of it. I had a property that needed immediate help in clearing items out. Since I don't live in the area, time is of the essence for me when trying to get things done. I had looked up Junk Busters on Yelp and they were my first phone call. Within 15 minutes, Lucas called me back to get an assessment of the situation. After texting and emailing some initial photos, he was able to give me an immediate quote. It wasn't the cheapest quote but certainly not the most expensive either. The other services who charged less, also told me it would take them longer (several days) to do the job that he noted he could do in a day. For a per hour job, it was $45 + $15 day for gas. Dump fees would be paid by me but the hourly rate included his truck, tools, and his labor, all of which is accompanied by an 8 hour minimum. What's more impressive is that he was in the middle of a haul when he was consulting with me; talk about multi-tasking. He came over the next day and like a New Yorker, he kept it super real with me. He gave me advice on getting rid of certain items and was extremely kind throughout the process. I wouldn't hesitate to hit up Lucas again to clear out a place and would recommend his services to anyone.

We moved into the house a year ago and had pretty much done nothing to maintain the landscaping that had been done prior to the sale, so you can imagine the state it was in. We were pretty overwhelmed by it all so reached out to Junk Busters because of their amazing reviews. Lucas offered to come the next day and give us a free estimate, walking through everything we'd want done and giving us a very fair price estimate right away. It took us a few weeks to sort out the right time to do it but Lucas was always willing to answer any questions that came up (like: "how much would it be if we did this and didn't do this" type questions all of us non-millionaires end up having). Long story short, we hired him and we are SO glad we did! He communicated professionally and clearly, always arrived on time, and his work was phenomenal - thorough and with obvious attention to detail. We love our home and we could see he knew and respected that, treating our property like he would his own. In the end, Junk Busters helped us with: weeding, landscaping front and back yards, laying bark/land leveling, junk hauling, and ultimately restoring our sanity. We highly recommend Junk Busters! They have rave reviews for a reason!

I hired Green Acres Landscape for a one day job to install two water lines and 12 sprinkler heads…read moreinto an existing sprinkler system. I paid half up front and waited for work to start, 3 weeks later I find they forgot to put me on their schedule. When they showed up, it was not the crew I was told would be there, just one guy with a shovel instead of power equipment. He dug some trenches 12" deep and others 3" deep. He said it was harder digging in the backyard so he only went 3" deep. He broke an existing PVC drainage line and started putting duct tape on it to fix it. I said fix it correctly and he left the job site. I called the office and they said he will be back in the morning to fix it. While I was standing there with him, in front of the broken pipe, he buried it without fixing it. I made him dig it up and fix it. When the sprinkler heads were installed and adjusted, I started the sprinkler system to test it. It watered the side of my house and my neighbors yard. He said the 25 foot ratchet heads were could not water an 8' wide yard without getting water on the house. They came out the next day and replaced the heads and tried again. They had issue after issue and moved and changed the type of head three more times. It was a total clown show. The sprinklers did not go to the property line and I had 18" of dead yard. A Relationship Manager came over and he looked at everything and said he would fix the following day, which he did. The next day everything was fixed and I was happy. The manager handed me a letter from the ladies in the office. I thought it was a gift certificate to a local restaurant for all the trouble I experienced, but it was a letter stating that they were done working on my sprinkler system and any other repairs or issues will cost me $82 an hr. It was a slap in the face and poor customer service. They turned a one day job into a nightmare without one word of regret.

Desantis is not a good landscaping company. They didn't mow our lawn on a regular basis, so the…read moregrass gets too long. They do not weed so there are weeds in the grass and in the flower beds. They recently cut down 25 expensive imported tulip bulbs that were just beginning to grow. They were a row precisely 4 inches apart and with so many in a perfect row. The greenery was a two-toned spider leaf not typical of a flat leaf weed. If this company is a landscaping company, how do they not know the difference between flowers and a weed? After multiple emails with pictures and phone we finally were able to talkto them about the bulbs being cut to nubs in the ground. They apologized but, refused to pay the $150 to replace them. If you are looking for a landscaping company, call someone else if you want your yard to be cared for well.
