I took a video and pictures of the codes and sent to the dealer where I was informed that California does not require dealers to smog diesel trucks and then I could screw off three months later I still had not received tags or registration so I contacted the dealer where they then found out they had to smog the truck in order to complete the transfer. I offered the Dodge dealer because the truck needed work. They insisted on this ANB truck repair ,according to ANB the dealer knew that AMB was not going to fix anything on the truck, but was just going to get it to pass smog according to their technician named Paul, when I went to pick up the truck the first time I asked what parts they had replaced, and I needed a copy of whatever they did to the truck for the warranty in case there was continuing issues where they reluctantly printed me out one finally that is in the pictures, I got in the truck to leave started it and the check engine light was already on so I left the truck there and I refused to pick it up and told them the truck was there to be repaired on my behalf so that I would not get stuck with a bill later on Paul the technician threatened to beat me up in the parking lot called 12 times to my phone to scream at me and told me that him and Dealer were in constant communication and they knew exactly what he was doing and what he meant by that is doing a fake hot smog on the truck ,.....I went to get the truck today two weeks later after they did an additional $3000 in repairs to the smog equipment that had supposedly passed with none of it working!.....for it to pass smog two weeks prior .....when I got there they tried to get me to come into some back room in order to get my keys and I refused I have it on video then after they followed me out to my truck flipping me off I have that on video also, I submitted all of this to the bureau of automotive repair to have them investigated thoroughly to keep other owners like me from getting screwed by shops like this that protect crooked dealers.

I ended up foolishly paying $1,200 more for a fish finder that turned out to be a bait and switch. The Lowrance fish finder, as you can buy it as a consumer, has both sidescan and downscan features. The wrong transducer was installed in the boat. It was an total pain to get this point across to Richard. I sent many emails and photo proof that it was the wrong transducer. Apparently it takes several weeks for C&C to send emails to Ranger and I was told to, "Please be patience [sic]." After bugging Richard multiple times (actually about literally 30 emails), he finally got Ranger to agree to install a new transducer. I naively assumed they would install the sidescan AND downscan unit, which is the common version available to the consumer. But then didn't. I drove for five hours to have them install a transducer than only had downscan. And I didn't figure this out until I was on the water. I would have gladly paid the difference in getting the right unit, but Richard/Ranger again baited and switched. On top of it, he tries to make the customer feel bad for asking him questions and bothering him, after just having spent many thousands of dollars. I went out of my way to deal with a mom-and-pop shop. Thinking that was a naive choice.
