The coffee is well-executed, very happy that Boulder's specialty coffee scene is finally stepping up. I appreciate that they rotate their roasters, I'm a big fan of being able to try a variety and not be stuck to just one style of roasting or the same origins over and over. I'm normally a black coffee drinker and prefer to make it at home via pour over, but I'll occasionally order something flavored when I go out, and always appreciate that they don't over-sweeten their drinks. In fact, I discovered recently that their pumpkin spice flavor is strictly pumpkin with zero sweetness...a nice change of pace since it still allows you to taste the coffee itself. In attempt to expand the minds of traditional dark roast drinkers without over-emphasizing acidity and hipster-izing the vibe, Beleza creates a solid balance and offers something for everyone, without being too much of one thing. I have a green thumb and LOVE all of the plants and overall nature vibe in the cafe. Lots of seating, but weekends can be a little tough. Service is friendly, they don't get annoyed by questions, and the turnaround for drinks and food is pretty quick, even with the lines. Prices for drinks are on par with the rest of the specialty coffee industry. My only complaint is that the vegetarian burritos are consistently really small in size, not filled very much, and overall not worth $6. I keep ordering them because they are flavorful and it's a quick bite when I need breakfast to-go, but at some point I'm going to have to find another option, if the size isn't proportioned better or the cost doesn't go down. The truth is, I come here specifically for the burritos and happen to order coffee since I'm there, but it's rarely the other way around. I've also tried their poached egg toast, a bit dry and underwhelming when it comes to ingredients, and the poached eggs were very undercooked and boogery. Overall, I'm happy this spot opened up so close to my house because a) it's become my go-to coffee bar, and b) I can't honestly say that there's anyone else in Boulder offering a better coffee experience. read more

Love this coffee shop. The environment is super warm and the staff is always really friendly and professional. Can the owner please consider rethinking the signs about no laptops? It comes off as really condescending and unwelcoming. Surely there's a better way to make sure some portion of tables remain open for people like me who are in and out without doing this? It just kills the vibe. Otherwise keep up the great work! Love this spot. read more

My friend introduced me to this coffee shop and I'm so glad she did! The moment I stepped into the shop, the aroma slapped me right in the face. My goodness, it's been a long time since the smell of coffee did that to me. So. Good. It's so good to the point where I ordered an espresso. I rarely get an espresso and usually opt for an Americano or just drip coffee. This time it was different. Their espresso was almost too prefect. Loved it! read more

Beleza Coffee Bar is my absolute favorite coffee shop in town! The owners, Greg and Nafi, do an amazing job with their business. They are always so welcoming and friendly! When I go pickup a delicious coffee it feels like home. Boulder is a well-connected community, and Beleza reflects this vibe as it is a social hub for the community. The coffee is always amazing! They also sell lots of local foods products, as well as beautifully curated gifts for purchase. I love Beleza! You should definitely love it too:) read more

My brother knows I've been getting pretty big into coffee. Especially cold brew. This is one of his favorite spots in Boulder, but he's never had the cold brew. This review is strictly based on their cold brew. It looked the part for a little bit. It looked flat and also tasted flat. Not sure how often they are brewing it, but it definitely didn't seem fresh. read more

If you are a coffee shop and you have no WiFi, you should post that on the door/at the counter before people order, or maybe mention it to a customer conspicuously holding a laptop when they are ordering, rather than just posting it on the tables. The table signs say they do that in part to keep people from staying too long. I get that, but just woman/man or them-up and kick out offenders rather than penalizing everybody. They also hide the sugar behind the bar, and goddess knows if they even have cream. And if you offer more than one espresso bean option, don't make both 3rd wave, Portland wanna be, under-roasted fruit fests. And don't charge $5 for it. Don't worry, I won't stay too long, and I won't be back. read more

What a strange business for Boulder. the overly glad handing masks the penny pinching at every turn. You can bet your cup will be under filled EVERY time. They reluctantly allow you to use the Half and Half they keep hidden behind the counter along with the watered down honey. Don't object to anything or the antisemitic card might get played. I dare you to say any of this is untrue. read more

I cannot believe I haven't reviewed this place. I literally fell in love with this establishment the second I walked in the door. But the name is what drew me in. Bellezza in italiano means beauty, so when first searching for nearby coffee (okay I had to walk three miles in vans to get here, but worth it) I knew I had to visit this Portuguese endowed shop. The interior setup is wonderful. It extends far back, and so there is plenty of room for wooden picnic tables and high top bars along the wall, along with outdoor seating. Simple and clean is my type of shop, and there are no exceptions here. The coffee itself... oh my gosh the golden milk latte. Recommended to me iced first, was perfect. I mentioned that I am not a fan of it being super sweet, and so the barista offered to throw in a shot of chai instead of another shot of sweetener. DO THIS. It was still perfectly sweet, and creamy, and just oh so wonderful. Fun fact...I returned the next day for the hot version. I also went with the coconut quinoa porridge bowl. Oh my goodness. Just wonderful. Not too sweet, so many textures. I'm so upset this place exists in Colorado and not my backyard. Grab a poached egg sprinkled with I believe paprika, for some extra protein, and you have yourself a perfect meal to keep you energized for working all day morning. Also! On the second day, the owner had an entire conversation with me while himself working behind the bar. If that doesn't show true compassion for your establishment and your workers, I don't know what does. If I'm ever back in the area I'll be here every chance I get. read more

Great coffee. Love the atmosphere. Nice employees. Great location. Unfortunately, they do not offer WIFI, making this place unusable during the workday or whenever you want to get work done. I've been grabbing coffee to go here during the pandemic, but after getting vaccinated, I was excited to work at the cafe. Needless to say, it was disappointing to learn they do not offer WIFI. I love this spot, but will only be grabbing coffee to-go from them. As someone who works from home, I will be forced to find a new cafe that offers WIFI. If they offered WIFI, I would give them five stars. read more

Was visiting Boulder for softball and stumbled upon this really quaint and WONDERFUL coffee shop while doing laundry down the way. The mochas, and lattes were amazing! A must go to for coffee if you are in the area!! read more

Heard good things about this place, but it was extremely disappointing. Was greeted by an extremely rude, snooty, and sassy guy. There's no Wi-Fi and barely 2 charging ports. Not a chill place to drink coffee and study or drink coffee and hang out with friends. read more

Lovely folks (Taylor, Willem, Ethan, and CJ are very friendly and welcoming in a way that immediately makes you feel at home), flavorful coffee, awesome lattes, matcha and rooibos options, wifi, a spacious layout, lots of well-designed tables and seating, plenty of electrical outlets, excellent lighting, a warm and happy vibe, a picnic table, and a couple of comfy couches! This place is a home run. N. Boulder needed an awesome coffee shop and it has been delivered. Then at 8am, somebody sprinkles fairy dust on the counter and a remarkable breakfast & lunch menu miraculously appears - and it's completely unique. Chock full of deliciousness, and prepared & plated with artistry, you won't find this level of quality at other coffee shops. My favorite so far? The smoked salmon toast. Flawless and yummy! Given Vic's was a mixed bag of grumpy and cocky, as locals, we just want a sprinkle of love with our latte. Beleza provides an excellent experience! Thanks to Taylor, Willem, Ethan, CJ, Greg - and the chef! read more

My light roast cup was great and they also had a nice selection of pastries too. Wow, I've been waiting 20 years for Vic's, the previous coffee shop that this establishment has replaced, to either up its game or move on and now it looks like we've been granted our wishes from the coffee gods. Of course the place has been gutted and the decor upgraded. So I have high hopes for this new kid on the block. read more

Dear Beleza, Keep doing what you're doing. Best coffee in Boulder, legit espresso with seltzer. Thank you. Much love, M read more

The service was very friendly and competent. I had a flat white which was great, and my wife had a Thai tea, which didn't exactly taste like a Thai tea (we have been to Thailand and had real Thai tea). We're afraid that it wasn't that good of an attempt. She'll get a coffee next time. We also had a scone and a doughnut which were both good. Lots of parking in front. Lots of people here in the morning -- but it seems that people who are coming here to work will take up a whole table just for themselves And a computer. That's too bad, as there's plenty of places for a single or two people to sit Really great atmosphere, though. read more

Great coffee shop but the hours are wrong, Apple Maps says you open at 6am do you can imagine my disappointment when I arrive at 6:40am and the store is closed. Please update. read more

The worst coffee I've ever had. Literally. Didn't even bother to go back inside to get another one. If you can't make drip coffee that doesn't taste terrible, not sure yiu can do much else. read more

so yesterday was my first time at this coffee shop. thought I was headed into the old coffee shop that usef to be in this spot. I ordered my coffee and paid. I was very tired and not paying great attention, but the brash barista called me back and asked me to finish my transaction. but in the mean time the transaction had timed out and the barista said to me,"oh never mind, but next time if you would remember our staff that would be great." in a very rude brash tone. i was taken aback. Then when my coffee was ready about 10 mins after I ordered again he in his brash abrupt tone asked me rudely to let him put the coffee down before I grabbed it as it was hot. I'll never go back to this place again because of him. sounds like he's from the East coast and should go back there or learn how to be nice to customers. It's too bad because the coffee and ambience of this place is amazing!! read more

i think i've tried every single Golden Milk in Boulder. the one here is truly the best!! i also love the atmosphere

Best coffee shop in town, hands down! They have the most delicious espresso. It's always poured perfectly. Their food is amazing and the chia seed pudding is to die for. The staff are always friendly and happy. The environment is welcoming and warm! read more

I've given this place more than a few tries and they never seem to get it right. Every time I go, there is at least one rude staff member who doesn't get an order right and then blames the customer with an attitude. This has happened to me, as well as other customers. Coffee is good but there usually aren't tables available. read more

Love this place...so glad they are back in action. They are covering all the bases in terms of COVID safety measures. Can't get enough of their iced coffee. read more

eh.. not impressed. I got a drink from their summer menu and for half of it being lemonade, it has no taste. I was not acknowledged for a good few minutes while the baristas ran around and made drinks and talked to other customers. Which is fine and I get they're busy but a simple "Hi! I'll be right with you", goes a long way. Inside of the cafe is nice with a nice retail section. Odd that a cafe doesn't have wifi and I understand their thought process behind not having it, but to have someone who wants to stay in your cafe (probably order a few drinks) and enjoy the space for more than a brief cup of coffee should be something to be proud of, wouldn't you think? read more

Hands down best coffee in Boulder. I love this place! Good vibes. Great owners. Their rich & creamy coconut milk makes my non-dairy dreams come true. read more

The rumors are true - Beleza is THE coffee shop that Boulder has been missing all this time. While this city has some great cafes, it has been incredibly difficult to find a place with decent lighting, access to outlets, tasty drinks, open working space, AND parking. Came in on a Tuesday morning and this place with bustling with people working, meeting with friends, grabbing a coffee to go. Although it was lively, there was still ample working space with (and I repeat!!!!) access to outlets, which is huge. There's also some patio space in the back to work outside. I was on the hunt for an iced tea to cool me down and I was presented with not only a tea list, but small test tubes with samples of all of the tea leaves to smell. I've been to countless cafes and this is the first time I've ever been to a place that does this. I decided on the Tropical Coconut Oolong Tea, and the barista even offered to save my tea leaves to do a second steep. I was about to add some honey to my iced tea, but the barista again stopped me and told me to try it before adding sweetener - and boy was he right. The tropical coconut oolong tea was like a refreshing punch to the face that I was looking for that morning. I was incredibly surprised - I've worked as a barista in the past serving Rishi teas and icing them myself, but never have I ever found an iced tea as delightfully potent as this one. The coconut adds just enough natural sweetness without being overbearing, and the oolong never gets bitter. I am ultra-impressed. Didn't get a chance to try the food, but I will for sure be back. Beleza is a great addition to the Boulder community! read more

My favourite new Boulder coffee shop bar none! The Golden Milk Latte and Yerba Mate Latte with oat milk are the best hot drinks I've ordered anywhere in my life! Best coffee I ever had. Locally owned and run by a family who put their heart and soul into the food and coffee and all drinks

This place is so wonderful. When you walk in the first thing you see are beautiful green potted plants. There's a couch area where people are enjoying their coffees and chatting. There are also plenty of seats and tables for studying that extend all the way to the back of the shop (it's pretty big). I had the golden latte which is INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend. it's like nothing i've ever had before so it's a bit hard to explain. it's nutty, earthy, spiced (but not spiced like a chai) and it's made with coconut milk so it's sweet. This is my new study spot for sure! A hidden gem. read more

The Coffee and sweets are delicious, however, this isn't an ideal location to do work. Sitting at a table alone is frowned upon and there's a possibility you will be told off and belittled by one or many petulant locals. If you're looking for a work-friendly coffee shop head to Flatiron on Arapahoe, adequate seating, lower prices, and a friendlier crowd. read more

I love this place! It's rare to find a cute coffee so close to home, but I can walk here from my house which makes me love it even more. Coffee was amazing and you can tell the quality of care taken by the baristas. Had a great coffee cake to go with my coffee. I don't know where they get their pastries but also delicious. Hey I just came in about 30 mins ago and I had an odd interaction with a one of your baristas. I got an espresso milkshake because why not I'm on break. When I received it, it was real full and there wasn't a lid on it and so when I grabbed it I accidentally spilled a bit on the counter so I went over to grab napkins and the male barista proceeded to explain how to wipe a spill up and I thought yes I have used napkins before thank you sir. Then as I was cleaning, he goes that's what you get for ordering a shake. And I was like yeah that's fair. It was jokey but like sorry I annoyed you I am cleaning the mess up. But I didn't think too much of this but then I say "yeah I'm sorry about the shake" and he goes "it's okay I won't tell your mom" even though I am an adult it just felt a bit condescending and then he goes "or I bet your mom orders shakes also" and I left so confused and felt so judged for my damn shake and he brought my mom into it?? The milkshake was fine but I felt shameful :( read more

Best coffee house in Boulder. The flavor of their coffee is heads above the rest! Always great, always consistent. Great in house food as well. I love their burritos, avocado toast with salmon, and quinoa bowl. Plus their pastries are from Lucky's Bakehouse, which are delicious. Kombucha on tap, draft coffee on tap, and the best matcha latte in town. Friendly staff and lovely atmosphere as well with plants, tapestries, and mellow lighting. I would even say they are one of my favorite coffee shops ever, and I've lived in NYC, LA, and London. read more
