Perfect fitness studio with EVERYTHING you need & more! Let's get to the details:…read more STUDIO & LOCATION: Tucked away behind an unassuming building (with FREE PARKING in the lot!) SUPER clean, modern and inviting space. Separate rooms for different classes (Lagree, Boot Camp, etc). Looks brand new with thoughtful touches throughout (bathroom essentials, coffee bar, towel service to name a few). Free lockers, cubbies & showers. Steps away from Wholefoods. Perfect, right?! LAGREE CLASS: Challenging but doable, must try! 50 minutes of heart pumping strength & resistance training. Only 8 mega reformers so make sure you book well in advance though I was able to book same day. ***Be aware, their sessions are not full body, they focus on different muscle groups each day*** INSTRUCTOR: Elizabeth was my instructor- LOVED her! Unlike most studios, she actually went around to correct form (without putting people on blast) and instructions/transitions were crystal clear. Playlist was pretty good too! SERVICE: WOW! Shout out to front desk staff for an extraaaa warm welcome! Super friendly & helpful, even gave me a welcome gift! I've never had a more personalized experience! PRICE: Definitely on the pricier side for drop ins (most I've paid LA to NY), but glad I gave them a try! Totally worth the price if you are looking for an elevated experience. OVERALL: Give Core a try, I'm certain you will not be disappointed! Can't wait to try their boot camp class next, stay tuned for an update! PS- how freakin cute is the sign and HANDWRITTEN card?! I don't know about you but all these little touches just melt my heart- Sign me up already!

Took the largree class and will be coming back ! Upon leaving the owner was talking to a disgruntled client and I over heard ( she was a nurse who's been working this whole time and no symptoms so she hasn't gotten tested , Denise was very apologetic but said she would not be able to take a class seeing as how she's been exposed to covid at work ). Being in healthcare myself ( not working now )I can see both sides of the story but I think Denise made the right call considering People work out in close proximity/indoors .

Stop deleting my review to try and silence me. I will keep reposting it…read more Would not recommend this place to anyone. I regret saying I took my first ever reformer Pilates class here and had the worst experience. I took Andi's class. I read her bio on the website and was excited seeing she was also a yoga instructor (yoga is a big part of my life) and very experienced. I arrived to the studio a little nervous as I'm brand new to reformer Pilates and did the class by myself. (I booked a class described as beginner friendly) I entered the building and she looked me up and down and turned away from me to go back to talking to the other 4 girls who were there for the class. They clearly all knew each other and were regulars to this class. She didn't say a single word to me. I had never been to this studio and had no idea what to do. I spotted a wall of cubbies that I walked over to, and put my stuff down. She stopped her conversation (gossiping about another Pilates instructor) to say "is this your first class" in a very annoyed, condescending tone. I said yes and she told me I needed grip socks, if I didn't have any to go bare foot. And returned back to the gossip with the other girls. This attitude / tone of voice continued as she briefly explained the reformer and walked away. I wasn't welcomed, asked for my name, asked if I needed any help, shown around the studio, nothing. I felt like a nuisance for being there. I felt like I was back in high school and this was the click of mean girls. Mid class she called me out to fix my form "Allie, is it?" Again very condescending. Yes, considering you know every other girl here, that's my name. You would know if you had welcomed me and introduced yourself. At the end of class there wasn't a single word as I quickly grabbed my things and left. Spent $40 to be treated like dog shit. Really sad that this place lives up to the "stuck up mean girl" stereotype around Pilates. Do better. It's a shame because the studio is beautiful and I would have loved to be a regular here. But this place will never get my money again. I follow their instagram and this instructor is always looking for clients to fill up her classes. You can't run a female dominated business and be a mean girl.

She is a career dancer, so it's not like other places where a fitness instructor just takes a few certification classes. Because of her experience, she is great at explaining how to move and hold your body and how to correct your form. With a maximum class size of 5 - 6, you will have as close to personal training as you can get. The space itself is also top notch. The whole gym has a luxe feel and the studio is small but airy and bright. Between the nice facilities and unique classes, they offer a lot that you won't find anywhere else.

To be…read morehonest, I'm not sure it's something they actively seek clients for, but since I live a block away and work from home it worked out well. I can tell this gym is focused on personal training and from the reviews looks like 5 stars there as well. But back to the part-time membership - worth every penny. Because they are a personal training gym, we usually always had the place to ourselves which I ended up really, really liking. When I was in fantastic shape, going to the regular gym was nothing, but when you've got some extra pounds to shed, having a nearly private space was amazing. I was concerned that because it was a personal training gym a trainer would eventually come up and try to sell me on some sessions, but that didn't happen. Unlike larger gyms I've been to! Also because they are personal training, you have just about every piece of free-weight/aerobic equipment that you could want, along with several machines - again at your disposal, no worrying about waiting for them. They also offer classes that look fun. Finally you CANNOT, I repeat cannot beat the atmosphere here. It is really cool inside, extremely clean, set-up well (2 floors), modern and the staff/owners are so friendly and pretty much mind their clients and not your presence. In conclusion, the weekday membership is not for everyone, but if you can swing it, it's worth it!

For example, the women's locker room is in the bottom floor, the main workout area is split into two floors- the lower level is strength training and weights, the upper level is cardio machines. It's not fancy, not brand new and shiny, but it gets the job done. There are small lockers in the upper workout area to store your jacket or purse. There are only two (2) things that really bother me about this particular Y. - There are only four (4) elliptical machines. That's it. So there's a wait sometimes. -The front desk attendants aren't particularly friendly. I've gotten some comments about the fact that I don't belong to this particular Y, never gotten a smile or a "hello" upon entering the building, and when I've asked for help finding places within the building, the attendant acted as though I was stupid and that helping me was not her job. A nicer front desk would go far to making this a Y that I would recommend to others. But right now, go if you have to, if it's convenient, and only if you don't mind mediocre customer service at best.
