By her kind, caring, empathetic comments during the class. She is an amazing instructor! Her guidance in improving postures, holds, poses was supportive and so assistive. I absolutely enjoyed what I was initially dreading to do ...yoga. The class pointed out how tight my muscles, tendons, ligaments are and how much I truly need Shri. I will definitely be returning.

I appreciate that they offered this class on election night for free and that they did not insist on a complicated registration process, just advertising on their Insta and encouraging folks to show up. The turnout was perhaps more than anticipated, and while the teacher was able to strategically make space for everyone who wanted to attend, things were a bit cramped, which made it a little less relaxing than I expected, but the teacher was great and it was still helpful to do the postures. The studio has beautiful hardwood floors, plants and is nicely decorated. It's in a part of the building that is used for the winter farmers market, so if you are used to coming to the market, this should be easy to find. I will definitely keep this studio on my yoga radar and check their class schedule for other community offerings and special pop ups. I don't think I am likely to visit regularly though because the parking situation is rough with limited street parking.

Every single class is an invitation to reconnect, be present and completely lose track of time. Yes. I leave sweaty and feel an incredibly positive impact on my body and health. I've been consistently going here for a few weeks now (because they have an amazing introductory offer) and have thoroughly enjoyed the classes. I've only taken the hot power yoga classes, but have taken it with several different instructors and liked all of them. Each instructor is unique in their approach and the poses they have us go through, but for the most part they are pretty similar and have all been great. They always stick around at the end if you have any questions. I also took a private yoga session here with Caitlyn where I was able to meet with her one on one. I am still very new to yoga and wanted to know if I had the correct form for some of the poses and Caitlyn was really great in helping me through that. They offer other yoga courses too like restorative yoga and hip & back yoga, but I haven't gotten a chance to try those yet. I've had a couple of questions since joining and have reached out to the studio via email and they are always quick to respond! I honestly cannot say enough good things about this place and all the people who work here. Yoga has been my new outlet and this studio has been really good to me. Highly recommended for anyone interested in yoga whether you are a beginner or not !

I found this yoga center by a quick google search online, and I was already impressed with their fabulous website: www.omkidsyogacenter.com I made a phone call and spoke with the owner and fabulous yoga instructor, Elyse Rotondo. I was interested in the Mommy and Baby yoga classes available, and she was so welcoming and friendly right off the bat. When I made it to the center (parking can be a little tricky, but Main Street and side street parking available, plus two small lots in front and to the side of the building are available), I immediately embraced this fun and relaxing space. The classes are reasonable in price, and very much worth it. My child had a great time with all the fun yoga poses, especially the dancing to fun music part. I felt I was able to get a mild to at times moderate workout (with some of the poses). During savasana, the instructor watched a couple of the little crawling babies, as my friend and I were able to fully relax and enjoy a full 3 and a half minutes of total relaxation. This may not seem like a lot - but it was heaven to this mom who is used to chasing after an active little almost toddler. At the end, hot tea is offered and you're able to stay as long as you'd like (there wasn't a class right after). The owner is so knowledgable about yoga, childcare, and keeping both parent and baby entertained, active, happy, and relaxed. I can't wait to go back!

Unfortunately though, I have had more negative interactions with the owner than positive. Steve has an overly cynical attitude, which can be hilarious at times, but is just a little too negative. This is not a big deal for those not looking to be a part of a community, but there are other gyms that have a much more positive atmosphere, which may be important to you. The facility itself has everything you would want and more. There is just an heir of superiority that not everyone is willing to deal with. Overall I'd say it's definitely worth checking out though.
