I am a local member of the St. Louis Model T Ford club, and every summer we have an overnight tout to some destination. This year brought us to Fulton. Our tout chairman was adamant that we dine here. I know why now. It is located in the brick district of town (we loved having our cars lined up on the brick paved streets) Our reservation allowed us to be seated right away and the service was great. They allowed us separate checks event though they were busy. The menu has lots to choos from but make sure to look at the daily specials. My steak was cooked to perfection, seasoned well and paired with a potato, it hit the spot after 100 pils miles Iona a 102 year old car. I look forward to a return trip with my wife to show her how wonderful the decor is and how great the food is here

Asiago Alfredo

The sweetest waitress recommended the Asiago Alfredo to me but I really wanted steak, and I told her that so she told me to put steak on it because the Alfredo sauce was that good. I am so glad she did! It was 100% worth changing my mind over. The place was intimate but not awkward and would be a great place for any occasion. Would 100% recommend to anyone passing through Fulton.

Grabbed dinner here with my family. We went at 4:30 on a Saturday and it wasn't packed, but wasn't dead either. The place is big and the tables are spaced out. We ordered a bottle of Prosecco and the Parmesan artichoke dip to start. The dip was delicious. I would come back just for it! My husband ordered the pork chop and I got the garlic marinara pasta. They are both just ok. The pork chop had a sweet sauce, which I wasn't a huge fan of. And the pasta was VERY tomato-y. Like almost tasted like tomato paste. My step dad got the Alfredo and it was delish! We got dessert and the carrot cake was to DIE for. I would come back just for the dip and the carrot cake.

Asiago pasta, with rose sauce

Beks was so impressive. I went with family/a group of 4, after visiting the (very impressive), Churchill museum in Fulton, MO. (a small town), and much to my surprise and delight; it was absolutely packed! And rightfully so. We ordered 4 different things, and every dish we had was fabulous. I loved my pasta, and they customized my order for me, make it a rose sauce vs. White. I was amazed at the crowds, and the charming, quaint, exuberant vibrancy of the town, which is basically in the middle of nowhere in MO. With several colleges/Universities in the area however, and the Churchill history, now I understand, and I was quite pleased to meet it!

Cucumber Melon gazpacho

Visited today for lunch, delicious! Our waitress was attentive and super friendly. The food was really good and not the norm. I had the cucumber gazpacho and my husband had a Cuban. The portions were good sized. Definitely a great food experience. Thanks

We stopped in here on our way to Illinois. It's in the middle of a town straight out of Norman Rockwell's world. Brick streets and buildings dated 1884. The food was great. I ordered the steak salad which had a 4oz fillet and it was cooked a perfect medium-rare. Blue cheese and wonderful tomatoes. Others had burgers and a Tuscan sandwiches. 7 out of our 8 thought it was fantastic. One guy said it was just a burger. Service was very nice considering it was their lunch hour and we had a large group. Great beer list and a decent wine selection. Stop by if you're on Highway 54 and enjoy this little gem.

Besides my family-in-law's cooking this was the highlight of our Missouri culinary experience…read more After a 3 hour flight it was a three hour drive to our destination. About 2 hours in we see signs on highway 54 for "Barnyard Smokehouse". Drooling over the signs and starving my wife start calculating by the time we arrive at our destination it'll be too late to eat with family so we follow the signs. There's no offramp, just hang an instant right off the highway onto the dirt road at the barnyard. Used to clearly marked offramps I missed it and had to take a detour. Luckily in Missouri you can make u-turns on the freeway :-D The entire property is the "Central Missouri Meat & Sausage". There's a deli, market, and restaurant called "Barnyard Smokehouse". Beef and pork is locally raised and butchered on site. Walking in the door we're greeted by warm and friendly people telling us to sit wherever. The restaurant is inside the market/deli to the right. Lots of tables. To start we order some fried pickles. They're sliced thin and battered in cornmeal and served with ranch dressing which is one of the food groups in Missouri. I wish the pickles used were more sour but they tasted really good. For dinner I had their smoked brisket with Texas toast, BBQ beans and Mac-n-Cheese. My wife had the same thing but with "bacon, cheddar, and ranch potato salad" and mac-n-cheese. When it came out I was skeptical since the tri-tip came out in paper thin slices but I shouldn't have judged a pile of meat by its looks since it was fantastic. Beef was saturated with smoky goodness and due to the thin cuts it was super tender. On the table was several made in house BBQ sauces. I really enjoyed their spicy one and my wife liked the sweet one. Side dishes were great too. Due to our odd flight times we only had a tiny sandwich on the airplane so we both devoured everything on our plates. While waiting for our food I walked over to the dessert case and perused. Another standard item in Missouri are refrigerated whip creamed based "pies". We ordered the oreo cookie one. It was gut busting rich. Thick slab of dense vanilla custard topped with crushed oreos and whipped cream. Super rich and decadent. We both felt like we were going to burst after our meals but it was a great start to our vacation. When walking around the market after we saw these giant 6 to 7 foot cured meat sticks made from pork. Since we were going to a potluck in a few days we got 4 of them and at the party cut them up into bite sized pieces. These pork sticks are AMAZING. The BBQ flavor was the favorite followed by the jalapeno. They have them in more reasonable sized pieces too that are vacuum sealed. I bought some for myself and some co-workers. If you find yourself driving on Highway 54 through Fulton, MO do yourself a favor and follow the signs to this great place!!

Wonderful drink and diverse beer options, not a super big menu but I do enjoy the food! Has a…read moremini-store inside the restaurant so you can browse meats and cheeses after you dine! Lovely experience, service was wonderful as well!
