We both chose deep tissue massages with deep pressure. My bestie had a wonderful experience with Susie. She said Susie was very attentive and applied strong pressure to every part of her body. Unfortunately, Ella's pressure was a little too gentle for me, so I didn't enjoy my massage as much as I had hoped. Since it was our first time here, we weren't sure which massage therapists would be the best fit for us. Oh well! I did speak with the front desk afterward, and she recommended trying Jessica or Lucy next time. The place is very roomy, which is nice. Hopefully, I'll have a better experience with a different massage therapist on my next visit!

It's a little gross having them massage my feet, ask me to turn over, and then immediately massage my face. They have water bottles and hot tea for you while you wait or for after your session. I checked in at the front and was immediately taken back to a massage room. The room is very nice and clean with relaxing music playing in the background as well as nature sounds of water. The lights are dim to your level of comfort. You can remove as much or as little clothing as you like. I laid down on the comfortable table and waited for my masseuse. You can choose a male or female masseuse when you make your appointment. Laura came in and described what she was going to do. She asked if I had any areas on my body that were bothering me. I let her know my low back is an ongoing issue. I really appreciated that she asked me that and how much pressure I would like for the massage. I have to say, this was one of the best massages I have ever had. She did a combo of deep tissue and Swedish massage all over my body and also focused more on my low back. The hot stones felt really good and the heat level was just right. It was so relaxing and therapeutic. I really liked my experience with Laura. She helped my back feel better which is a miracle. I will definitely be coming back here again for more services. The staff here are all very friendly and make you feel comfortable and welcomed. I highly recommend coming here.

Parking is fine with three spots in front of the business and more areas to park on the sides. It did not seem like a busy area and parking does not seem to be an issue here. Amanda asked me if there were any areas she should focus on and also let me know I could let her know if I needed her to adjust the pressure. I've been getting massages in the San Jose area for years and Amanda is the first masseuse to ever ask me those questions. They also did a layer of heated towels between the sheet and the blanket that was magical and again, not something we've had done in other massage locations. The room was calming with low, warm lighting while we undressed. It was mostly shut off during our massage. The music was also playing low. Very easy to let yourself relax here. Green Healthy Spa hits a very nice balance with simple, but tastefully decorated private rooms. The masseuses give quality massages tailored to what you ask for. The prices are very reasonable for the quality of service and environment. On tipping; Most of the base price of a massage goes to the owner for rent, and other maintenance and supply costs, taxes, their profit, etc. The massage therapists get little to nothing unless you tip them. If you can't afford a 20-25 dollar tip on a $75 massage, or worse you're too cheap to tip, you shouldn't get a massage. Not tipping is expecting the therapists to work for free. All have their own styles but there is something fundamentally lacking - they all typically take a one size fits all approach - working from the back down to the legs, then front for a bit and then wrap up. This is even with masseuses I've used many times - I'm guessing the massage establishments just train them that way. However, Karalyn combines massage with PT, really working problem areas and going hard at it. The result - you get the therapeutic benefits of the massage and the science of PT, which drives rapid recovery where you really need it. As only a rare and excellent massage can deliver, I ended light-headed and felt like jelly. As only great PT can deliver, I felt lighter on my feet afterwards with a cleaner posture and wider range of motion (and less pain and injury risk). All this from the convenience of home. Thank you Karalyn!

My whole being was neglected by self love. I can feel the heaviness of suppressing myself. I knew I wanted someone like-minded, mobile, well-rounded, and spiritual. When I saw Karalyn's pictures of her travels and the Esalan pic, PLUS the beautiful reviews. I knew I had found my HEALER. *Karaylyn* You accommodated me and made me feel safe. You were professional and respected my privacy and home. You are a great listener and know how to balance our conversation. You knew when it was time to let me rest as I fell asleep intermittently.
