This was our first time trying Lebanese food and had made a reservation due to its popularity.
It was a cozy restaurant inside with an inviting atmosphere, close tables and a small bar where drinks and some food prep took place.
We were welcomed in and took our seat in the middle. Menu was in English and listed quite a lot of options. There were some familiar Middle Eastern dishes but a host of new items that intrigued us.
Each dish was nicely plated and our server explained each as they were served.
Our first entree was the eggplant um which was a whole eggplant, sliced in half and covered with chopped veggies, baked and drizzled with this tasty pomegranate molasses and oil. It was divine but now we will have a hard time finding this dish at home.
Our last entree was the beef kafta fayuz which was also very good. The beef kafta was in patty form, stacked with potato and a side of "au jus" to pour over. It was savory and moist.
Our dinner was filling and just didn't have room for dessert.
Very impressed and would come back here again on a future Seville trip as well as search for Lebanese food at home. read more
