Terrible Customer Service To Whom It May Concern, Over the years my friends and family have had many wonderful meals and fond memories at the Riviera. That is why it was the only choice to have our wedding reception. We had paid (dollar amount) for a family style wedding with wine service on (date goes here) I tried to salvage the disaster that was the result of the poor planning, health hazards, terrible service and inedible food that was delivered by your wait staff and made by your kitchen staff. Overall, the lack of professionalism and general concern to produce a beautiful wedding reception sabotaged what was supposed to be the happiest day of my life. I will say that the hors d'oeuvres were great. But you need to be made aware of all of the things that negatively impacted the reception. 1. There were fruit flies. This is a clear health hazard and indicative of other problems with your kitchen and cleaning staff. 2. There was no toilet paper in the bathrooms. When your staff was notified nothing was done to rectify the situation. 3. The food was subpar. Specifically, fish was overcooked and the chicken was also of poor quality with very little meat on the bone. The sides of rice and potatoes were not seasoned well and were very bland. 4. The wine service was included and there was supposed to be a bottle of red and white on each table. There was not and we had to ask for this to be done. All of these things and the lack of concern with my satisfaction lead to a disappointing wedding reception. I am expecting a returned phone call, or email but most importantly a refund. How this was ever considered acceptable service is beyond me. I would like to resolve this amicably.

When you walk in, you enter the bar area. The restaurant has its own separate room but there is no other way of getting there. If you can get over those nuances....the food is superb. I had, on a few occasions, the Steak marinated in sauce (they call it Moo-ee) topped with a fried egg, fried potato slices and rice. It's so good...I think I actually heard my arteries hardening, My wife (who also doubles as my Portuguese translator) had the Shrimp Mozambique which was in a garlic sauce with lemons, also with the fried potato slices and rice.
