Asian buffet in Stockton in the previous Home Town Buffet location. An adult dinner is $27.99 and they offer a discount for seniors 65+. They have lots of variety with sushi, fresh stir fry, seafood, and drinks included (Pepsi products and tea). For an asian buffet, it was pretty good and I've come with my parents a few times.

Assortment fried banana, wonton cream cheese, 2 soups

Good price for the decent buffet items my favorite is crunchy sushi roll, salmon nigiri, fresh stir fry meats and noodles you build yourself they cook, oyster, cocktail shrimp, crab bar, honey walnut prawns. There's plenty of items to choose from. They have a fruit bar, coffee, teas and sodas, dessert bar was lacking :(. Staff was friendly, clean spacious restaurant. I would come back. I had about 5 plates of food and soup.

The Mongolian BBQ & sushi stand ...

If you're a Stockton local, you know that this place is the best deal in town if you've got a big appetite. You'll know this by the large number of local customers there at any time during the day. I've read a lot of comments on this thread about the service, but let's be real people, this place is always so busy, and to keep costs down, it appears that management only got one waitress to bus tables, you really can't expect to have your finished dishes whisked away from your table the moment you finish eating. I'm a sushi freak, and their offerings alone are the price of admission. But if you're really hungry, go for the Mongolian BBQ...

Amazing array of delicious Asian food!

This place is absolutely phenomenal! 10/10 highly recommend! Would definitely go here again. The food is absolutely delicious, huge variety to choose from, beautiful atmosphere and the staff was incredibly friendly and prompt with removing plates we were done with. It was a great date night with my daughter. Bei Jing Buffet far exceeded my hopes. Thank you so much!

Crab legss

It is definitely worth it to get the "Dinner price" to get the crab legs! If you pay for the Lunch option, it doesn't include the crab legs. Their sushi their is also pretty good. I go for the raw salmon which was yummy, soft, smooth.

i mean lowkey hell yea. i would say definitely worth the price considering it's all you can eat and drinks are included. You can also do mongolian bbq, picking out your noodles and veggies before giving it to the chef to cook up. they have good sushi, honestly better than some sushi restaurants i have gone to. i liked a lot of the things i tried here, some i wasn't extremely fond of but that's the beauty of a buffet, you pick what you like and leave what you don't. i enjoyed everything i picked for my plates, shrimps were delish. i was pleasantly surprised to see they had plantains which made the whole trip worth it to me. i love plantains and they were cooked so perfectly and still hot. the only thing on my plate i didn't really like were the cream cheese wontons because they were cold. that's another thing, some things may be room temperature and if you're like me who's pretty picky about wanting their food super hot, be weary. overall, a good experience. the place is huge with lots of seating so you don't gotta necessarily sit next to anybody or any other parties. i would say service is pretty decent, our plates got picked up after stacking up a little high but then they got on it! i like the vibe of this place. i would say it's worth it. excellent diet pepsi.

Great to see now serving oysters!
Kham P.

This is a follow-up of my review a year ago. Back then, I gave my actual rating 3.5 stars and gave feedback that it would be nice if have oysters as part of the menu for at least the dinners and weekends. Happy to now return and see that oysters are part of the menus, which I did not see earlier. Thank you Beijing Buffet for listening and considering customer's request or recommendations. Shows you care!! My actual rating for this follow-up is 4.5 stars, but Yelp does not have 1/2 stars.

Food was ok. The best part was the jumbo shrimp. Everything else was literally dumped in sauces. It's a Chinese food, what do you expect.

Low quality food there's far better places to go to but it's not bad. Just not the best quality that's all.

Lots of choices. Super crowded. Sushis are mediocre. Ambiance is okay. I just like that they have a huge selection of food.

Ask the Community - Beijing Buffet

How does this place compare to Grand Buffet?

Well, it’s sad about what happened to Grand Buffet really. Some good times. And of course it’s been…

Do they have crawfish?

I don't really like crawfish but i think they do for dinner and weekends.

Is the lunch and dinner menu the same? If not can we get update on the menus for the day/week

The menu is varied for the lunch/dinner and weekend. However it's not fixed. My experience was when they ran out of something they just stop putting it out. Save yourself a trip, it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Do they offer Senior Citizens discounts and at what age?

As a Senior I believe is was a 10% discount

Hi Will, Just checking in to see if you have lots of vegetarian and vegan options? I don't eat meat or dairy and was hoping to have a great experience at your restaurant?

They have lots of seafood, chicken, and they have an are where you select your noodles meats and veggies and they prepare it for you. I personally would not eat there again due to the lack of flavor and the food was cold when I was there. If you can…

Are children buffet price different?

On weekends they are charged full price.

I decided to give M Kitchen Buffet a try after reading the Yelp reviews, and I'm glad I did. There…read morearen't a lot of great Chinese buffet options in the area, so I came in with reasonable expectations, and this place exceeded them. Before I get into the review, I think it's only fair to mention that I rate buffets differently than traditional restaurants. My expectations are based on other buffets, where freshness, consistency, food rotation, and value matter just as much as presentation. This feels more like a small, family-owned neighborhood buffet than a large commercial chain, and I actually think that's part of its charm. The buffet isn't huge, but I'd rather have a smaller selection that's done well than a massive buffet where half the food has been sitting under heat lamps for hours. I sampled most of the buffet, and overall I was impressed. My favorite dishes were the beef chow fun noodles, chow mein, honey pork, fried rice, teriyaki chicken, and the spicy chicken wings. The wings were especially good, they were nice and meaty with a great flavor and weren't loaded with fat like buffet wings sometimes are. Other solid choices were the sweet and sour pork, broccoli beef, and fried green beans. The only items that didn't really stand out to me were the vegetable egg rolls and crab rangoons. They weren't bad by any means, just average compared to the rest of the buffet. One thing that really stood out was how well the buffet was maintained. A staff member was constantly cleaning, rotating trays, and refilling food, so everything stayed warm and fresh throughout my visit. I never came across anything that was cold or looked like it had been sitting for a long time. The soda station was clean, drinks were self-serve, and the staff was friendly whenever I interacted with them. Most of the customers seemed to be ordering takeout rather than dining in, and after seeing the portions, I completely understand why. The takeout containers were packed so full they were almost difficult to close. For the price, the value here is outstanding. The only reason I'm not giving this place five stars comes down to presentation. The dining room itself is clean, but it's very simple. From the drink station you can see directly into part of the kitchen, and the plumbing underneath the soda and ice machine is exposed, which makes the restaurant feel less polished. I didn't see anything that made me question the cleanliness or food safety; it was more of an aesthetic issue than a sanitation concern, but it does affect the overall atmosphere. That said, when I judge this place as a buffet rather than comparing it to a full-service restaurant, the food quality, freshness, service, and value easily outweigh those cosmetic issues. Would I come back? Absolutely. If you're looking for an affordable Chinese buffet with consistently fresh food, friendly staff, generous portions, and flavors that honestly surprised me, M Kitchen Buffet is definitely worth checking out.

My family and I were checking out quick dinners and they happen to pop up. Had no idea they were an actual restaurant where you can sit in if you wanted to, but with that being said great food. Good amounts too. Wasn't able to go inside but the bf said inside looked nice and the chefs were continuously making sure the food was hot and fresh. People in my family also liked the stir-fried beef with wide rice noodles, kung pao chicken, and whole pieces of fried chicken. The one desert was sesame balls. There were also tempura-style veggies and fries. No fresh vegetables or fruit, but they had stir-fried broccoli. There were also egg rolls and crab rangoon. Simple tables and chairs, 2 bathrooms (with disposable seat covers available), and disposable plates, forks, cups, etc. Floor was just a little sticky. You just walk right in, grab a plate, and start loading up. Once you sit down, someone will bring drinks. While there, many people came in for the to-go options. When we went to pay our bill, they also offered a $4.95 kids price. What? Not sure how they survive! Would definitely come back if I were a local.

We didn't realize how much of each thing they would send out when you picked what meats you wanted to order so we ended up having a lot of food waste we didn't intend for. We only liked like 2-3 types and the rest we weren't fans of so we will know better next time. Loved the buffet of all the options of sushi, fruit, veggies, etc. wasn't expecting that so that was a nice little pallet cleaner. And didn't expect the desserts either so that was fun. The dining was just excellent. Why I docked a star was for their bathroom. It was absolutely disgusting. I went into one stall and it was filthy from guests being lazy leaving toilet paper and other garbage on the floor but also what looked like poop on the seat and on the wall. The dispenser for the toilet covers was completely caked in dust in every stall. Dust everywhere in there so I'm concerned about how well the bathroom is actually cleaned if you ignore very thick dust all over. The walls were dingy, the floor was sticky everywhere.. i felt gross in there. I went into the bathroom roughly an hour later and I'd was still messy in there so they must not do regular bathroom checks like other restaurants do. We will still be back again cause the food was excellent otherwise, but their manager really needs to enforce better cleaning standards.

The car show happened to take place in the same parking lot as K-Town, so we just decided to have dinner here instead of sitting in the drive-thru line at In-N-Out. The inside is modernly lit with lots of wood motif and black. Oversized lightbulbs filled with faux flower petals hang from the ceiling. A random cartoon plays on the wall TV. For a weekday dinner bbq, we paid about $37 per person with no additional hot pot add-on. We got a good spread of drinks (they have boba!), but they are also an additional cost. The AYCE includes access to the buffet area, which has sushi (sashimi!), buffalo wings, seafood boil, a bunch of fried/breaded offerings, and all the sauces/accoutrements for both hotpot and kbbq. I was impressed by the short rib marinade here. The beef was meaty with a good texture. Some of the cubed meats were a little tough but could be due to the way we cooked it. The pork belly was sliced too thin for my liking (too bacony). We got the cheese sticks from the buffet and reheated them over the grill and made our own version of a Chili's Triple Dipper. Service was fine. We placed our orders with a guy and he would come around occasionally for a grill change and taking away plates. Between the two KBBQ AYCE I've been to in Stockton recently, I think K-Town wins. Overall, I came out stuffed and would definitely return.
