The aesthetics are cute, girly and up to date. The salon is super clean which I also appreciate. I have gone to Alana 2 times now with an upcoming appointment for my baby shower cut and style. I had a lash lift and tint as well as my brows done - which is saying a lot because I haven't trusted my brows to ANYONE in my 40 year old life. I hacked them up when I was a 90s kid and have been afraid to have someone thin them out too much ever since! Melissa (?) did a great job. The brow lines looked amazing and so natural, it truly was my brows but better. I intend to go see her again for brows when it's time for another lash service. The lashes turned out great, by the way. I highly recommend getting a lash lift and tint if you're looking to make your eyes pop without the irritation of lash extensions. I had been doing extensions for wedding season and loved the look but needed a break. Melissa revived my lashes and now I don't feel like I even need mascara anymore! Very happy with my results.

I've been here many times and have always been satisfied with my services, but the desk. How can such a beautiful salon employ such unhappy front desk receptionists? Example of conversation: Walked in "I'd like to make an appointment for such and such service" "Ok when?" Me: "Does (stylist) have an opening on x day?" "Only until 1pm" Me: "Ok, I'd like to schedule, I can come in the morning" "Ok what time?" Me: "Whatever she has open, let's try x?" "Yes she can do that" Me: "Ok, thanks" :( My suggestion: Offer a few times up until 1pm. Example: "She has 10, 11, or 12. Do any of these times work for you?" I am the customer. First thing the next morning, I called every makeup artist listed nearby on Maps, but I was supposed to be at a photoshoot by noon, so no one was able to help on such short notice. Just when I'd given up, Kimberly called back and saved the day! Her home studio, which is only 15 min from the Embassy Suites I was staying in, was beautiful and clean. Her work space is in front of a large window, so the makeup is done in full natural lighting. She matched my skin perfectly with foundation she'd prepared based on a photo I'd sent just 15 min before. I thought the most impressive part of the natural makeup she gave me was the skin! It looked like my bare skin if it were flawless and glowing! She kept me engaged during the process, asking me for input as she worked to be sure it was to my taste and making comfortable small talk. She is not only a talented artist but also a lovely person to talk to, which I always look for in any stylist to aviod stress and akwardness. I am so grateful to her for doing my makeup on such unreasonably short notice! She had another appointment at 11:00 and I was able to make it to her by 10:15 by driving over as soon as she agreed to do my makeup! She finished right on time, and even though she moved very quickly, everything looked beautiful and she still asked if I was happy/wanted anything added or changed as she worked. Kim even curled my hair after I arrived with it in a mess, even though we were short on time and she'd only agreed to do makeup over the phone! She was probably in a rush, but she made the experiece relaxing and pleasant, which is super impressive because I am fairly high strung and was already stressed when I arrived from my hectic morning. I left at 11:00 on the dot, looking and feeling beautiful. Even though the makeup was very light and natural looking, it stayed put all day. The photos came out wonderfully as well! I wanted to try extensions because I am going on a trip and wanted to try to get away with not doing makeup. I wanted a natural look but for it to appear as though I had mascara on. Michelle absolutely delivered! She talked me through the process. I wondered if it would be uncomfortable, but it absolutely was not. I could have laid there for hours longer with no issue! Full transparency on my end. I reached out after via email in the hopes of any effort on Wink's part to find a resolution. The owner didn't follow up to meet me halfway, ask for photos, offer a phone call, absolutely nothing. Who said anything about a refund? Literally not me, ever, though that would be the customer service oriented thing to at least DISCUSS. On the contrary, I was instead told reaching out was inappropriate and that my words (my opinion) were untrue, and that I should find another salon. I can post a screenshot of that as well. How is that customer service? How is that caring about customer satisfaction? And how many people can honestly say they're comfortable with telling a tech who just spent two hours on something "Uh, yeah this look is awful for me" immediately after service? Anyone who is courteous would want to take a private moment to themselves in a comfortable space before opening a can of worms.
