The location is…read moregreat, has a private lot with plenty of parking, and with surrounding businesses and restaurants in the area. The office is located inside a medical building. The clinic/therapy rooms are nice and clean. Additionally there are 2 restrooms for clients to use that is not shared with the entire building. This is a definite bonus for the clients and their safety. This facility is geared for older teens and adults. I like that it is setup appropriately for this age group (it is not "kiddie" looking). I will be back to post an updated review once services are actually started based on the services we receive.

TLR- go to this company if you really don't care to actually get your child consistent help & also the receptionist always answers the calls as if I'm calling her personal phone. Bad communication between staff .often fail to follow up with patients as promised.also they don't resolve patients issues effectively. Our grandson suffered so much neglect, abuse and loss in his short little life, it was hard to tell whether his difficulties were as a result of in utero drug/alcohol exposure, developmental delays or sheer trauma! We were so relieved to finally "get" Katie, who kindly and compassionately helped guide us through the process of getting the answers we wanted and the help our grandson needed! We have found Katie to be reliable, conscientious and very thorough. She has even gone to school with our grandson and spent the day with him and his teachers, in order to get a clearer picture of the issues he faces. But more importantly, Katie is empathetic! She has sat in our home, more than once, and cried with us. That kind of emotional support is invaluable to us, above and beyond the practical help that she continues to provide. She is a gift to our family.

I take my daughter here for ABA therapy and Social Skills. Choosing Holding Hands over other facilities is the best decision I have made. Everything is clean ( including their restrooms) Toys are sanitized and well organized. Everyone is friendly and warm. One more thing I love about this facility is that they LISTEN. It is very important to me that people will listen to my concerns, and even if I dont say it, they will give suggestions and inform me of what I need to know, they are able to adjust to and accomodate my requests to meet the needs of my daughter and they were able to resolve issues professionally in a timely manner. Our BCBA Michelle and Janise are very smart, competent and knowledgeable, my daughter's therapist, Angela, is very professional, efficient and dedicated to her work. All of them have been very supportive, understanding and patient, I cant thank them enough for everything they have done. My daughter is hyperactive and runs away from me, she refused to hold my hand or sit still when needed, thats why its hard for me to take her out in public places by myself, its always been a struggle, but she has changed so much just a few weeks of her session, I will never forget the day I was able to take my daughter with me as I run errands, she walked next to me holding my hand. We were able to overcome elopement challenges because of their help. I have learned so much from them and appreciate everyone in this facility.

Her teacher, Mary Frances was able to find the perfect balance of giving her space while strongly encouraging her when the time was right. As a result, she loves school and has become so much more confident. She even likes PE now which has always been difficult for her. She has participated in music recitals and school plays and she is very proud of being a part of these performances. In the past it has been difficult for her navigate through having more than one friend. She has made so many friends at Frostig and has the support she needs when she doesn't know what to do. The social skills program gives her a space to ask questions and gain understanding. People with autism often do want to understand things they just aren't able to on their own. Frostig understands this and gives her the extra help she needs to be successful socially as well.
