Trapline is the exception to that rule. I made contact with them, they showed up as promised, and did all the work they said they would. They got rid of some very destructive raccoons for me and repaired my soffits. They gave me a quote and a handshake, and they delivered on all of it in a very tight time schedule. I never had to call them back. They did the work they promised completely without any prompting from me. That is rare in this day and age. Whatever the reason for their habitation, we needed them to leave! After some online research and asking a friend for the name of the raccoon removal service he used, I called Affordable Wildlife Removal and set up a time for Derek to be onsite and assess the situation. After explaining what he'd do, inspecting the house, and writing up the work order, Derek walked me through the proposal and every bit of work needed. The quote was a tad higher than first expected. However, the services in addition to persuading the squirrels to vacate without harm include sealing up all the access points and potential access locations (chew through places especially). Over a span of a month, techs worked on the house about twice a week, for any length between 1 to 2 hours. The most interesting visit occurred when the tech installed the one-way door out from attic at the existing entry point. Boy, did the squirrels chirp at me when I went out later to inspect the work! However, the most impactful work turned out to be the cementing up of the opening to our garage in the eaves that was unseen until up close with a flashlight. Once that tunnel to the squirrel superhighway was closed off, the noise in our attic stopped completely! It's been a month now and the squirrels no longer dance around our roof and work out in our attic. The peace (of mind) is wonderful! Regarding communication from Affordable Wildlife Removal, I received texts each day when the techs would be coming out and they communicated both estimated arrival plus any delays or early arrivals. They patiently answered my questions and explained what they would accomplish during each visit. They also put out a handful of screens on some of my vents, which I did not pay attention to until after the fact. They were not done with much thought or craftsmanship let's just say. I reached out to them repeatedly, telling them I was still hearing noises in my attic. When they finally came back, they said that the original job was closed and I had to open up an entirely new job which was well over $1000.
