Mixed fried appetizer included, two onion rings, two chicken nuggets, and two stuffed fried olives

AWESOME! The airport food game in Italy doesn't suck. We stopped in for lunch. Had the Pozzuto and buffalo mozzarella, VIP (Very Italian Panini) and the fried appetizer. This included two stuffed olives that were the bomb! The service was pretty good, even though they were super busy. Would recommend.

We stopped at this place for a light lunch in-between flights. It's located in a food court, and I must say that we cruised the entire area a couple of times before deciding where to eat, because every place seemed appealing. At the end we decided to go for Beercode because it was the only place offering a wide variety of food "portions-wise": here you can find a few tapas, small panini, mid-sized focacce, but also hamburgers "American style". They have a full service dining area and an "outside" bar area. We had plenty of time, so we decided to sit and have just some tapas. We ordered mozzarella di bufala with prosciutto, focaccia with ham, and olive ascolane (fried olives) and accompanied the food with a glass of Prosecco. The food was really good, however I can't say the same for the service: the waiters were never around and when they were, it was difficult to get their attention. That is why when we stopped here again (on our way back to the US) we decided to eat at their bar area. This time we ordered panini, and they were very good as well. Everything is at very reasonable prices.

Underwhelming food and stressed out staff. Bland food even though they only had 2 Neil options on the menu. The coffee was cold. Go somewhere else.

Had a nice experience while waiting for the flight, staff was super friendly and helpful. We only snack a few things and they were really good. The potato deep were nice, crunchy and hot. Beer was nice and cold. Nice, fun and clean. Really recommend it if you are at the airport

We chose this location to have lunch while waiting for our flight. They had a decent menu and a reasonable selection of draft beer. I had their twizzle of vegetables. It was a plate of grilled vegetables. It was very good. The service was efficient and friendly.

Overpriced for the quality, service was extremely slow and the waitress acted like she couldn't care less.

The food is awful! The service is abysmally slow. In a country known for its cuisine, microwaving chicken should be a capital offense.

Review Highlights - Beercode

After getting done with my weekend getaway in Rome, I went to FCO Leonardo Da Vinci airport to await my flight back to reality.

Honestly, not the worst airport food I've had…read more We checked all the options they had at the Leonardo Da Vinci airport and landed on Chef Market. They serve fresh sandwiches, salads and pasta. They also have some baked goods too. I got the spinach and cheese ravioli. It was good, not great. Needed some sauce? It tasted like cooked ravioli with Parmesan on top. No sauce or other flavor. A bit bland. I also got the pesto pasta. This pasta comes cold. And doesn't taste the best. It's weird because they put corn on this pasta. Kind of a weird thing to put on a pesto pasta with tomatoes and mozzarella cheese. My husband got a sandwich and he said it was alright. It was a little salty. But he ate it all. He also got some lasagna and said that was really good. So, some good and some not so good. Not a bad stop for food overall. It's a laidback, casual, walk up and order type of place. You grab a tray and they scoop up what you want and put it on there. Almost cafeteria style food.

Order Tortelloni ( frozen) and couldn't even taste the filling, very bad flavor. Then had a beef steak ( one of the worse I have ever eaten) dry and way too chewy, couldn't taste the flavor, just the fat. Side of roasted potatoes ( they were undercooked and cold) and a side of spinach ( the bitterest side of spinach I have ever tasted) Overall a very bad experience, and even worse considering that in an Italian airport they serve such a low poor quality food. Next time I'll bring my own sandwiches!!
