Then after multiple no-shows and one time they showed up when we couldnt do the job, they did work and claimed the job was complete. They did not put back the tiles, left trash all over the balcony, and tracked all sorts of mud in the house. I could live with this, but the next time it rained, water poured through the roof. Prior to them working on the roof, there was no water pouring through ever, so they literally made the problem worse. Their employee and someone who appears to be the head of their subcontracting crew came out and each had a different opinion on what the problem was. They claimed to have fixed the issue and offered to paint over the damaged part their leak caused. Already this was a terrible experience but i was patient hoping they would fix the issue. I paid the remaining invoice, but in the latest rain storm water came pouring through on multiple locations. I have really tried to be patient because I understand that home services is a tough business but at this point I cannot trust them and their cheap subcontractors to complete the job properly. And I have no idea how much mold and rot there is in my ceiling as a result of their shoddy work. I really hope they will make this right and I hate to have to leave such a bad review, but several months in I have a roof that is worse off than before and I simply do not know if i can trust them to fix the issue.

I recently had a leak around my skylight after getting a new roof installed by another company that…read morerefused to honor their warranty. I suspected the flashing wasn't done correctly, so I called Transcendent Roofing for an inspection, repair quote, and a defect report my lawyer had requested. Yes, I was planning on filing a claim against the original roofer. Will came out promptly and inspected my roof at no charge. He was professional, honest, and thorough. After checking everything, he confirmed that the workmanship on my roof was solid and that the issue was likely just degraded sealant between the skylight panel and the metal frame. I was relieved to hear the roof was in great shape and that I wouldn't need to take legal action against the other company -- good riddance to them for ignoring my repair requests! Will clearly explained my options: replace the skylight, remove it altogether, or try a simple "wait-and-see" fix with new sealant. He never pressured me one way or another, and when I asked how much the quick fix would cost, he just smiled and said, "No charge." Within the hour -- after a quick trip to Lowe's for sealant, on his own time and dime -- he was back up on the roof applying new sealant around the skylight frame. I really appreciate his honesty, professionalism, and fairness. If the leak ever returns, I'll definitely be calling Will and Transcendent Roofing again. No hidden fees after work was complete even though they've had to do a few things beyond what was asked. In the end insurance also wanted a few changes and Rafael's team quickly responded and worked it out with insurance and with the tenant's schedule as to not disturb them too much. On another project where the roof had already been replaced by another roofer, we were experiencing problems and the other roofer denied any responsibility in the leaks.
