I am lucky that I live close by. If ever your ride needs to be cut short. Do what I did. Just leave your bike here George and Wes will repair it right. The most important thing of work done on a Motorcycle is that any work is done correctly. And then cost and other factors as time that repair takes. This place has all the aspects covered. I had a second experience with George with my old R75 and this experience reconfirmed the 5 stars that I gave before: After a thorough review of the problems I was given a repair estimate and that was what I paid...no more, no less. George was also happy to install carbs that I purchased separately and had shipped to him which sometimes can be a problem with shops. Lastly apparently my old battery somehow got cracked under their care and I was given a brand spanking new battery which I thought was above all honesty because there are many shops out there that would say the battery was shot and charge for that. read more

Best BMW repair shop ever...George is a great guy....friendly and competent and reasonably priced...Why go anywhere else?

I took my wife's 2005 BMW F650CS there. Her bike had some electrical issues that were strange and intermittent. I was expecting a dealer to just replace all kinds of electrical stuff and charge me an arm and a leg. So I called and asked around, and was referred to George at Beemers Uber Alles. George was FANTASTIC. He did really fast work, less than one day, better than expected results and then handed me a bill for (while entirely realistic hourly rate) was much less than I would have expected from any other shop. It was actually FAIR! I mean he disassembled the instrument cluster, found a few chaffed wires (from vibration) he fixed them, and wrapped them with good electrical tape and zip tied everything. Put it all back together nice and neat, and returned the bike clean as a whistle with not even a smudge, much less a scratch on the plastic. He even replaced a few bulbs (for the backlight) of the instrument cluster that I didn't know were burned out. He said he did it just because while having that taken aparit it didn't make sense not to do so. Because I hadn't asked for that, he GAVE me the bulbs (said he had some in stock anyway) WHA?!?! Have you EVER heard of a mechanics shop giving you something they could charge $15 for? He adjusted things on the bike that I didn't even know were incorrect, but once he pointed them out it was obvious he was correct. (BTW, he didn't bill me for that work) He told me that he didn't feel right letting me ride with the bike setup that way, since he said it would cause problems on the bike later if it wasn't adjusted. His shop isn't fancy, but it is reasonable clean and functionally organized. I'll definitely think of taking my other bikes to him, even though it is a long haul from my house to get there. read more

Took my K1200GT rims and new tires to have them installed. George replaced the tires in about 30 minutes at a decent price. I had a question about a part and he was kind enough to answer and even brought a part to show me how it worked. I will definitely come back to use their service when needed. read more

I have BUA do all work that I cannot, or prefer not, to do. Manassas isn't really conveniently located for me, but it is worth the trip. On occasion, I had to leave my bike at the shop for several days (awaiting parts). When the wife isn't available to shuttle me for drop-off/pick-up, George is always willing to pick me up at the train station, if needed. I wish I could praise George's ability to tune-up my 1969 R60/2 but I'd have to lie to do it. The motorcycle was firing early, back-firing through the carbs. George had it in his shop for months, replaced the coil. He said it would run, then cut off. (that never happened to me in the 35 years I had the machine.) When I got it back it was little better than when I took it there, still not running right. I can't recomment BUA to anyone with a pre-1970 BMW. Go somewhere else. read more

I just picked up my old R100 on Saturday after George fixed a list of issues. He installed new brake lines and pads, a new oil pressure switch, changed the gear oil and tuned it up a bit - I could not be happier with the work. An annoying oil leak was fixed, it runs and sounds better, it stops quickly (and quietly) and with the new braided steel brake lines - it even looks better. This was done for a very reasonable price and came in below the original estimate. read more

George is a great guy. I do not own a BMW, but I was looking for a place to change a tire (off the bike) on my Vstrom. My normal shop only has 1 mechanic and he was on vacation. So a friend told me to call BUA and see if they would do the tire swap. Sure enough they did. Just went back to have the front swapped out as well. And they are half the price of the place I used to go. Now they will not do anything else on my bike because it is a Suzuki and I am now tempted to trade the Vstrom in for a used BMW 800 GS just to be able to have them maintain it for me. The Mechanic (George) is a straight shooter and will not steer you in wrong direction. I take both of my Beemers their for maintenance and repairs. George always fixes my MC issues and never overcharges. Fixes what I needed to fix and nothing more and never has an issue when I bring in my parts. What else could anyone ask for. George goes beyond his way to assist. One time when I just repaired my Airhead and riding the bike home. George warned me before leaving that I'm on reserve. On my way to home and was going to stop at the first gas station, however I never made it to the gas station. I could have either pushed the bike 1/2 mile or called AAA but thought I give George a call just in case it wasn't any issue with the newly repaired bike. George said it wasn't necessary he knew where I was and came by just to inspect the bike to make sure it wasn't anything he did. As it turned out, I ran out of gas. George put in 1/2 gallon of gas and I was on my way. He made a comment he was happy he didn't have to trailer the bike back for repair he may have missed, which wasn't the case at all.
