So unfortunately I had to dock you a star. You are needing servers badly and not just servers but friendly servers. The one I had yesterday was not the least bit personable. She still got a good tip but yet she could have cared less . I'm glad you have added meat and veggies to your menu . The Birthday menu is okay too. I got the catfish plate- catfish took up part of the plate w/ fried okra, grilled Zucchini, and coleslaw that while good (They up charge you like 3.00 why??) We also got fish and chips unfortunately it tasted like frozen Gordons fish portions We used to get way back when. It wasnt what We expected at all. Guess I'll have to go to Twin Peaks for that . Son got his tried and true Armadillo burger. He also got the Birthday cake while good that icing was as heavy as the icing on wally world's cakes. If you know you know. We got the lava cake cookie which was good and came with ice cream. I do appreciate you trying to expand your menu. Some are hits and some are misses. It's better than somewhere similar that has Father's in its name in Alabaster lol All in all I'd still come back occasionally.

Strawberry boozy lemonade, so refreshing!

We went around 2:30pm on a Tuesday. The service was absolutely amazing! The food and drinks came out super fast and everything was correct. I would highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the strawberry boozy lemonade, perfect combo for sitting outside on the balcony overlooking buck creek waterfall!

Updated review with Spring 2024 menu pics! Yall did it big with this one. Beefs is always a joy to visit. It's date and family friendly, relaxing, and the location is great for our local cities. Service is quick and they stay up top if any needs. We love Beefs and you get all my quarters in the candy/toy coin machines!

Always good food and polite servers. And the view of the waterfall can't be beat! Had the 2/$25 and really were pleased.

The first time we waited around 15 minutes at a table before anyone acknowledged us, and the second time was basically the same experience sitting at the bar. Friendly service definitely wasn't the strong point here either. That said, the food honestly saved this review from being much lower. The wings had a fantastic sauce with great flavor, the fried pickles were crispy and addictive, and the fried green tomatoes were genuinely delicious with a really solid batter. Even the beers were ice cold and crisp, which fit the vibe perfectly. The biggest issue is that the pricing feels a little high for the overall experience and environment. If you're charging those kinds of prices, the cleanliness and service really need to match it better. If you're coming strictly for fried bar food and cold beer, you'll probably enjoy it. Just don't expect attentive service or a polished atmosphere.

We are a party of two. Sharing food is our new thing and Walk On's makes this so easy. We ordered onion rings and a catfish platter with fries. LOTS OF FOOD. Grayson was our server, thank you Man!! We chose to sit on the patio since the Alabama heat has FINALLY settled down a smidge. The patio was spacious with plenty of tables as well as couches. There are several televisions positioned around the patio, so no matter where you sit, you can still catch the game. While it is definitely a sports restaurant, it also felt very family friendly. There were even a couple of young girls recording a TikTok on the patio, which brought a smile to my face. Our server was McKenna. She was pleasant throughout our visit, and it was obvious that she was making an effort to provide good service. She took our drink orders promptly, and our food came out fairly quickly. I ordered the Ahi Tuna salad and was pleasantly surprised by the size. It was not only plentiful, but beautiful and delicious! My son's food must have been delicious because he finished it in record time. His significant other did not have quite the same experience. She ordered her burger without lettuce, tomato, or mayonnaise, but it arrived with all three. Her fries, which she had been looking forward to, were also very hard. She ended up taking her burger apart to remove the toppings and left nearly all of the fries untouched after trying one. In McKenna's defense, it was a bit loud on the patio, so it is certainly possible she did not hear the request to leave the lettuce, tomato, and mayonnaise off the burger. Toward the end of our meal, my remaining salad had been boxed to go and it was clear we were finished. After waiting about 15 minutes, we eventually had to ask for our check. When McKenna brought it, she explained that she had accidentally mixed up our check with the table behind us, who had already left. She was apologetic and explained that their ticket, which she handed to us, was lower than ours and hoped we did not mind. We certainly did not mind paying less, but I did feel bad knowing the other table had apparently paid about $10 more than they should have. As we were leaving, I also noticed quite a few napkins, dishes, and other items scattered around the patio. More frequent attention to clearing and tidying the outdoor area would make an already nice patio space even more enjoyable. Overall, it was an okay first experience, and I would definitely give Walk On's another try because there were several things on the menu that caught my attention. McKenna was kind and pleasant, and I do not want the mistakes during our visit to overshadow that. However, between the incorrect food order, the delay with the check, and the ticket mix up, I do think some additional training and attention to detail would be beneficial. And that Ahi Tuna salad? I'd order it again in a heartbeat!

This was my first time ordering anything from here. I was drawn in by a BOGO offer for burgers and fries for National Cheeseburger Day. I ordered on their app and was given a thirty minute estimate on pick up. The outside of the restaurant is well maintained and the inside looked nice and clean. They weren't overly busy. The host looked at me but I was not greeted. I had no problem finding the pickup counter that had about four or five people waiting. The restaurant has an open floor plan and loads of big screen TVs. The music wasn't overly loud. I had to wait for a while before I got to the counter. Apparently they only had one employee manning the to-go counter and running back and forth to get the orders from the kitchen. An employee came to fill their water bottle with soda but didn't work the to-go counter. When the man working the counter showed up, he was very friendly and apologized for the wait. I had to wait for around 15 minutes past my estimated time. Luckily, I wasn't on a time schedule and they had a nice seating area to wait. I received my food and made the mistake of not checking it before I got home. ALWAYS check your order. I had ordered two All-American Cheeseburgers with fries. The burgers were supposed to come with lettuce, tomatoes, pickles, and sautéed onions. I got one out of four: sautéed onions. That aside, the burgers were awesome. They were hand smashed and had tasty crisp edges and were dripping with melty cheese, topped with sautéed onions. I really liked that instead of putting the condiments on the burger, they came in a separate bag with our utensils and some wet naps. I always hate hot mayo, so this was a plus for me. The fries were shoestring fries. They were good, hot, crisp, and had a good many soft limp fries, which are my favorite. I'll definitely be back for the food, but if it's take out, I'll pause to check it before I leave.

Before we even ordered, my son looked across the restaurant and said, "Don't we know that guy?" Sure enough, I turned around and there was an old friend I hadn't seen in years. Funny how life works sometimes--you go out looking for supper and end up catching up with someone you haven't seen in forever. I ordered the O'Brady Burger with fries, and my son went with the wings and fries. The food came out after a short wait, hot off the grill and looking every bit as good as it tasted. That first bite of the burger sealed the deal. It was juicy, flavorful, and honestly one of the better burgers I've had in quite a while. The fries were hot, crispy, and exactly what fries ought to be. Between the great food, friendly service, and unexpectedly reconnecting with an old friend, it turned into one of those meals that reminds you why local restaurants are worth supporting. I don't make it over to Hoover as often as I'd like, but Beef O'Brady's is definitely staying on my list when I'm in the area. And with a Tuscaloosa location reportedly on the way, I'm looking forward to making it a regular stop a whole lot closer to home.
