First time here for lunch. We waited a few minutes for someone to seat us while others were seated. We were greeted and seated quickly and she was very friendly. It was a little chilly in the restaurant. Definitely bring a jacket. Food service is a little slow. It doesn't help them I am hungry. I had the ribeye sandwich and fries. It was ok. They used a bit more pepper than I like (ketchup helped) and the meat was a little grisly. Overall, it wasn't bad. My friend had a chicken quesadilla. The lettuce it hit was a little sad, but overall tasted like a quesadilla. The water was awful! Three lemon quarters did not help. read more

I have had three excellent experiences here. Their specials are very reasonably priced. And the carne asada tacos and the salmon were perfectly prepared and came out quickly. I will be coming back! We went and it wasn't busy, we were a party of two. We had an order with a cheese burger and fries and one salad. The order took about a half hour. Then the burger with the fries came out cold and for some reason we had to wait longer on the salad that they had to remake. This place will not be revisited. The greeter was friendly. Waited a longer time after getting menus. When finally got a server we ordered right away. I had the chopped steak which was only a small burger topped with onions, mushrooms and brown gravy. I've had a McDonalds quarter pounder larger than this "chopped" steak. It was served hot however the broccoli was barely warm. My friend ordered the ribeye 12ounces. He said it was good, not even close to 12 ounces cooked med rare, and the sides were a dried up ball of instant mashed potatoes and maybe 2 ounces of slaw. We got there shortly before 5 PM yesterday. There was three of us in our party, we ordered two appetizers and drinks. Those came pretty quickly and were not bad. However, all of us ordered the buy one get one on the boneless wings and when they came out of the kitchen, they were bone in. Our server acknowledged that it was his mistake, sent them back, And said he ordered the correct ones. Next thing we know we see our waiter walking out of the building and off property. 20 minutes past, And not a single worker in the building Came to check on any of the tables in his section. After I and a person at another table said something, finally, another server came over. After another 40 minutes, our wings finally came out, but they were Traditional(bone in) again, and not boneless. We said something to the food runner so he took our food back to the kitchen. After a while, the waitress came over and asked what was going on, we explained And she said "I'm going to go check on the kitchen myself". 20 minutes went by and now she is missing as well, The other tables are having to go to the bar to get their tabs and we still didn't have our food. A THIRD server comes over, By this time she kind of knew what was going on, Went to the kitchen to check on our food, Came back and said "I'm sorry but the kitchen says they cannot find your order". It is now 7 PM, And by this time We have been there over two hours. In that two hour window, not a single manager, stopped by our table once to check on us. Absolutely appalling how this place is being run and I'm not surprised that two servers walked off. You have only been open two weeks, how are people so untrained, Service should have been impeccable. read more

Stopped about 2:30 on a Saturday and for a party of 3 there was about a 30 minute wait with 1/2 full restaurant. We sat for about 15 minutes before we were greeted by a server who took both our food and drink order. I got their sandwich, side, and drink combo and ordered the chips and salsa as the side. I'll admit I've never been served under cooked chips before. Like they were floppy and chewy! They also took forever to come out. My wife ordered a pizza, also under cooked where the cheese was not melted. They also got the sauce wrong. She was underwhelmed with her order. My chicken sandwich was ok, dry but at least it was fully cooked. My wife took our daughter to the ladies room, which she said was disgusting, on par with Walmart on Prospect. We won't be going back any time soon, which is unfortunate as this could have been another Aspen Tap super of experience in town but it's not read more

For our first time visiting this restaurant as of 11/08/2025, it wasn't as pleasurable as I've thought it would've been, considering they are one of the newest restaurants in the C-U area. It started with a Host asking about how many people for a table, then proceeded to talk to her other coworkers about "it's time for me to go, these are your tables, I'm leaving". Ok didn't have to hear all that, however we get seated and started with a couple Caesar Salads, we get them and right off the bat we knew it was Iceberg Lettuce instead of Romaine Lettuce. We get our entrée, which took obsessively long wait time and just the look of it, size portions it was completely underwhelming and sad looking. I'll provide pictures, however I spoke to the Manager Jeremy Bustamante', and he didn't make the situation better at all, proceeds to say, "you order a 6 oz steak and once it cooks it goes to a 4 oz steak, we really busy tonight, I'll talk to the cooks". Not one time did we get an apology just a $10 coupon for an appetizer. Jeremy was very unprofessional and didn't have a sincere tone will attempting to make the situation better. After another 30 minutes we advised that we had not seen our server and they searched for her and apologized that she left the building. We were there for 90 minutes! This was our first time here and everything was great. The service was friendly and everything came out on time. We had the potstickers app, they were tasty. My wife had the chicken tender comfort bowl and I had pizza. The tenders were very juicy and the breading was light and crispy. The pizza was surprisingly good. The crust had a nice char and was light and airy. The restaurant was clean, lots of TVs to watch games and they also have an arcade. We will return. read more

First time here and had high hopes for this new entry into the local restaurant scene. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. "Uninspired sportsbar" would be my description of the space. Other than a large mural declaring "Beef 'O' Brady's Champaign" there was little more than a large wall of TVs adorning the space. The server arrived promptly and was helpful with menu recommendations. Unfortunately after taking our order she was much less attentive or even available. As we waited for our food to arrive we observed that other customers were apparently experiencing long waits for there food to arrive. My companion commented that it seemed like food was coming to tables piecemeal instead of all at once. When our food arrived after a lengthy but not unreasonable amount of time we were disappointed. The grilled chicken meal my companion got was bland tasting and the chicken a bit "spongy." My Caprese pizza was nothing more than a puffy soft crust with minimal, finely chopped ingredients on top. Not remotely resembling the picture on the menu it seemed more like a pourly concocted "cheesy bread."Something you'd be more likely to get as an appetizer. I decided to send it back and get something else and waited while my companion shared his uninspired chicken with me. When our server finally returned she was happy to take the pizza back and said she would expedite my new order for fish and chips with coleslaw. As we endured another lengthy wait my dining partner and I shared his chicken entree. During this time we saw a gentleman at the table across from us refuse the food he'd been waiting for as his companions ate, saying it had taken far too long. Having been at the restaurant nearly an hour now, we were about to give up and ask for the check when my food arrived. Unfortunately my $16.50 fish and chips (coleslaw missing) was just as disappointing as everything else. In fact, I could have gotten a far better version at one of several fast food establishments for the same amount of money or less! Halfway through my meal we decided we'd had enough and just wanted to settle up. After our server had gone missing again she finally returned to check on us. I simply asked if we could pay our check. At this point she asks if we are paying with cash or card. I haven't even seen a check yet! I tell her cash and she just informs me of my total without even showing me a check. I thought this was strange but feeling tired and defeated I simply gave her cash and told her I needed a receipt. Fortunately I noted that everything was correct when after another 5-10 minutes she returns with my change and receipt. After a grueling 1 1/2 hour + visit to "Champaign Beef's" (it's on the napkin holder, lol) the high point of our experience arrives, our departure! One final note. This restaurant doesn't even have simple condiments like salt, pepper, catchup, etc. on the tables. Nor do they ask if you need them. Overall I don't have much hope for this place. Even if they work out some of the service bugs I don't think the food is likely improve. Will watch to see if reviews improve over time before returning. read more

Customer service was slow. Our main entree's were disappointing and fries were cold. We had issues with their payment processing where our card was charged twice and the manager couldn't provide us with an explanation why. I think that this restaurant needs to look into retraining their staff and work with management on their people skills. There was no resolution from the manager .... We will definitely not be going back! Check your bill and your account throughly and watch the staff with your credit cards.. they are double charging their guests! read more

Waited an hour and a half before we received our food as a party of four. About half of the restaurant walked out before receiving their food. We didn't see the manager once until right before we left when something was going on outside. But she didn't come around to check on us, apologize, or try to make the situation any better. The food was subpar, nothing to brag about but it wasn't bad. About an hour and 15 minutes in we were given complimentary chips and queso, which was at least something. Went there to eat food and service not that good I know a couple young girls that were hired on to work full and part time with guaranteed hours and now there dropping them down to 1 maybe 2 nights a week at about 3 hrs work they have only been working here about 3weeks and we're not told there hours would be cut until they showed up for work on that day what a shitty way to treat young kids starting in the job world these were good employees they show up to work and then sent home and told there now cut down to maybe 3 hours per week not even offer another position and have worked there hours and shifts since they were hired and this is how they are treated and have been told the manager is very rude to his employees not a way to run a business the owner needs to look into his manager or managers that are running his business read more

We came in and were advised that it would be about a 15-20 minute wait. Told them no big deal, we would come back another time. The server convinced us to stay by saying there was only one group of 2 ahead of us and they were getting seated in a couple minutes. We were sat after about 10 minutes and this is where the issues began. We ordered our drinks and an appetizer. 20 minutes later we still didn't have our drinks nor had they taken our main food order. Finally got the drinks after about 25 minutes and put in our food order. Another 20 minutes went by, still no appetizer, and our server comes back to tell us the kitchen is short staffed. It should be noted that our server was the same person who convinced us to stay. I feel this tid bit of info about the kitchen staff should've been told to us prior to seating, not 40 minutes after we placed an appetizer order. We got our app about an hour after we were seated and our food roughly 15 minutes after that. After waiting over an hour for the food, it came out lukewarm and we never got a single refill on our drinks. To top off the experience, we had to wait another 10-15 minutes after finishing our food for our server to finally come check on us again to give us the check. All in all, make sure your afternoon plans are completely clear before coming here as it is an all day event. read more
