Southwest Chicken Wrap

It's fast food, so for fast food, it was clean. Love that there are grilled and fried chicken options within the wraps. Needed more sauce and the veggies were cold.

The parking is very plentiful and convenient with multiple handicap spaces right near the door. There are table and chairs or booths of multiple sizes both indoors and outdoors to choose from, they are all pretty close together however. All the people we came in contact with who were working behind the service counter were very friendly and efficient. Our food was prepared very quickly. The food was pretty ordinary for a sandwich place except the onion rings had sort of a burnt or not so fresh oil flavor. One of the sandwiches was ordered with no tomatoes yet there were 3 tomato slices on the sandwich it wasn't a big deal it was just removed however if something is ordered a certain way that is the way it should be served. The cheese fries had cheese all down the one side of the cup.

This place is definitely upscale with lots of delicious choices to fit anyone's palette: from…read moreseafood, to steaks, to pasta, to burgers, you can find just about anything here. I have been here many times with our family and I can honestly say I've never had a thing I didn't like. The most recent time we came, I had the vegan zoodle dish and it was great! Most places don't have something to fit my super limited dietary needs, but TOC did and it was very tasty. The managing of the restaurant has been the negative part in our experience. For example, we came this past Easter with our extended family (our yearly tradition we usually look forward to), we've had a reservation for weeks, and they weren't ready with our table for 15+ minutes after our reservation time, and especially with our group having two 88 year olds, it's not comfortable or safe to make them wait that long with no table seats. When they did seat us, they gave us 1 waitress for probably 25 people, when in years past they've given us 2-3 servers (and that worked great). The server we had was over and above nice and helpful, so none of it was her fault, it was just the restaurant planning side of things that was a disappointment. Our reservations were at 1, we didn't eat till almost 3. Almost 2 full hours to get our food. Granted, it was a holiday, so I didn't take off more stars for that, but that's never happened to us before and we all left with a metaphorical bad taste in our mouths. So hopefully this was just a bad day they had, and if it was, I'd for sure come back. But if that's the new normal, I don't think I would.

The first time, my friend recommended Eggslusive and the second time, Yelp did. Anyway, service is quick and friendly, and prices are about what you'd expect for brunch unless you get an expensive special (which we did not ). I loved seeing items on the menu that I don't normally see on brunch menus like halal options, naan dishes, and Mediterranean meals, all of which I was tempted to get. I ended up getting the chicken tinga skillet and substituted to get something called simit as my side instead of toast. The waitress described it as kind of a pretzel bread, which I feel was accurate. Lots of sesame seeds, and it came with jam, which was delicious! The vibe is cozy and local, and come to find out that the business owner is Turkish, which we loved to know and support. I'm also not a bacon person, but I enjoyed the bacon here because I'm not a super super crispy bacon fan. The waitress was also super sweet and provided a coffee refill in a to-go cup for my husband to enjoy in the car on our way back towards Chicago. The only thing is that one of my poached eggs came out more hard boiled than runny, but everything else was great. If I could give 4.5 stars, I would. Note: we got one of 2 parking spaces left remaining, so know that parking can be a bit tight on weekend mornings.
