I will also leave a DoorDash review similar to this if I can, but today was the first day that they had started doing DoorDash and I could not be happier because their food is so good but I just really don't want to deal with driving there in the summer heat. You can fully order fried chicken with confidence that it will taste good. The only thing that actually doesn't travel as well are the rice cakes. They are still really good but there is a difference when traveling. But fried chicken, bulgogi, corn dogs... all great to travel. They are still working out DoorDash kinks as this was their first day so be patient if you go that route and just call them if something is not reflected right in that app. They are learning how that works and the manager (?) was totally fine with making something that was maybe later than they wanted to make closer to closing time. Prices are bit high for the quality and taste of the dishes we tried. Korean fried chicken was 80 percent breading and sauce was artificial tasting. Taro tea was powdery and overly sweet. Scallion pancakes are too small for what they're charging. Hopefully they'll include a bone in option and possibly work on portions or price. read more

This is the former Unami Seoul restaurant, but now it's been reimagined into a wonderfully authentic Korean beer and chicken house. I had the chicken (delicious) and my husband raved about his shrimp and vegetable tempura. The service was excellent, and quick. The atmosphere is chatty and pleasant. Korean food has always sparked joy in me. This place did that for me and more. The customer service was so kind on a Friday afternoon. The ambience inside is very laxed. The food was absolutely delicious. Although they are known for their chicken, their Rabokki was so delicious! It's a bit soupier than other ttebokkis I've had but it feels so home made! Check your bill! When ours came, all items on the bill were higher than on the menu. They tried to blame it on their credit card system but makes no sense. It is more likely they are automatically adding a credit card fee, even though you may pay cash (this was added on each item on the bill). We were kindly invited to the soft opening of this new restaurant specializing in Korean fried chicken, with a great selection of Korean (and other) beers, thus the clever name "Bee(r)Ch(icken), Please!" As big fans of the family's prior establishment, Umami Seoul, we were looking forward to this iteration, and were delighted with the new place! At the same location, but with a brand new interior (a new bar, and gorgeous gochujang-red walls!). The menu features a variety of lightly sauced, super crispy fried chicken (grilled options available for each), and served with perfect pickled korean radish. There are a variety of ramens and tempuras, and an outstanding pork tonkatsu as well, all excellent. Don't miss the light-as-air, crispy rice cake starter, served with an addictive sauce. Really wanted to like this place but were underwhelmed with the fried chicken. All 4 of us tried 3 of the varieties. The soy garlic and sweet fire received middling reviews. The former was sweet and sticky, the latter wasn't spicy at all. The coating started out crunchy but quick got soft from all the sauce. The honey butter got the most positive response. Should've looked more closely at the menu as we were all surprised by the nuggets. Service was pleasant. I always see this place on my way to work so I decided to take my brother here to try it with me. Their tteokbokki with fish cake is amazing. It had the right amount of spice, sweetness, and savory flavors. Talking about it is making my mouth salivate. Their tonkatsu and their fried chicken is delicious. So crunchy and tasty. It's a strange name for a restaurant. Anyway, my previous experiences with Korean fried chicken restaurants have involved whole pieces of crunchy and tasty chicken. Be aware, this restaurant serves cut up pieces of crunchy chicken (not hard when they are small breaded pieces), they taste fine, but it isn't that Korean fried chicken experience. The chicken is similar to what you might get in a Chinese restaurant located in a shopping center. Actually, depending on the sauce you select, it could have been General Tso's chicken. We had a fantastic meal here last night... Edamame (both regular and garlic); Korean Fried Chicken (in two preparations: soy glaze and spicy/sweet), Noodles, Kimchi, and the best Ginger Ice Cream. Our waiter, Brent, and host/manager, Isabelle, were very friendly and provided excellent service. WAS UNAMI SOUL; Food costs, labor and other overhead can force business owers to look for cost savings, makes perfect sense. In the case of UNAMI SOUL rebranding to "BeeCh, Please" and completly chaning their menu, it was not a success. The experience from 9-10-2023: the old sign UNAMI SOUL is still up with new hanging signs "BeeCh, please. We sat down and being curiouis I asked the waiter if there was new managment and or had the business been sold. He said, no and that things had not changed much, still great. We ordered tempura appitizer with shrimp and vegtables; everwhere I have eaten this plate the vegies tempura cosisted of sweet potatos, mushroom, string bean, onions, etc. with some minor variations. There was two thin shrimp, but the vegie tempura was small slivers of carrot and other diced vegies, similar to what you would find in a vegie spring roll, dipped in batter and fried into a cluser, this was really bad. The batter itself was heavy and thick, oppsite of a good tempura batter. The chicken dish was also fried in the same batter, and they charged an extra 4 or $ 5 (don't recall exact price) for a very small portion of white rice, 2/3's of a normal portion in a small asian style rice bowl. I seldom write reviews but in this case if you're expecting the quality and selection of the food to match UNAMI SOUL, best to look for another place. Maybe it was just a bad day at "BeeCH, Please" and we were expecting a similar experience as UNAM SOUL; we were very disappointed and will not go back. The staff should be up front about a "complete" menu change from UNAM SOUL. If you're looking for Korean / Japanese food, "BeeCH, Please" is NOT the plaece for that cuisine... Should have kept the original menu and just increased the prices. read more

Wow, finally had a chance to try this place out yesterday. Got a take out order. Tried their fire chicken and their sweet fire chicken with soba noodles, delicious!!!! Kimchi on point, fresh, delicious and the perfect amount of bite. Can't forget about the veggie tempura, first time trying that fritter style but it did not disappoint.
