Prices are bit high for the quality and taste of the dishes we tried. Korean fried chicken was 80 percent breading and sauce was artificial tasting. Taro tea was powdery and overly sweet. Scallion pancakes are too small for what they're charging. Hopefully they'll include a bone in option and possibly work on portions or price. read more

This is the former Unami Seoul restaurant, but now it's been reimagined into a wonderfully authentic Korean beer and chicken house. I had the chicken (delicious) and my husband raved about his shrimp and vegetable tempura. The service was excellent, and quick. The atmosphere is chatty and pleasant. And special thanks to the ajima (auntie) who makes that awesome kimchi. I'm definitely going back...SOON! read more

Korean food has always sparked joy in me. This place did that for me and more. The customer service was so kind on a Friday afternoon. The ambience inside is very laxed. The food was absolutely delicious. Although they are known for their chicken, their Rabokki was so delicious! It's a bit soupier than other ttebokkis I've had but it feels so home made! Their Korean eggrolls are so delicious and crunchy it was delicious to dip it in my Rabbokki. Id definitely come back here over and over again. read more

This cute small mom and pops restaurant was pretty cozy. Service was excellent! We ordered the FIRE CHICKEN , KIMCHI JEON, and TTEOKBOKKI. Absolutely delicious! Although, the fire chicken wasn't too hot, it was just right. Maybe if you ask, I'm sure they'll really spice it up. Oh yeah, don't forget to order the peachy martini cocktail on the side. read more

The food is the star here, and it's well worth the wait for the signature Korean fried chicken. But wait you probably will. The kitchen definitely doesn't rush. The room was full of regulars, all professing their love, however, so hang in there. Your patience will pay off! read more

I will also leave a DoorDash review similar to this if I can, but today was the first day that they had started doing DoorDash and I could not be happier because their food is so good but I just really don't want to deal with driving there in the summer heat. You can fully order fried chicken with confidence that it will taste good. The only thing that actually doesn't travel as well are the rice cakes. They are still really good but there is a difference when traveling. But fried chicken, bulgogi, corn dogs... all great to travel. They are still working out DoorDash kinks as this was their first day so be patient if you go that route and just call them if something is not reflected right in that app. They are learning how that works and the manager (?) was totally fine with making something that was maybe later than they wanted to make closer to closing time. I really respect them for doing that and the food was really good. Please patronize this place as they are local and have really great food. You won't regret it! read more

The food was very fresh tasting and a nice selection, given it's a kinda street food designed. The server was very friendly and caring. It's nice to have this choice in Cathedral City. I'm looking forward to more authentic dishes added in the future. read more

Great Korean chicken plus other traditional entrees. Small and family owned, not some chain of "concepts" so you'll get something more authentic and crafted. Service is always friendly and quick. read more

Epic Korean fried chicken and icy cold beer! Sign me up! We were kindly invited to the soft opening of this new restaurant specializing in Korean fried chicken, with a great selection of Korean (and other) beers, thus the clever name "Bee(r)Ch(icken), Please!" As big fans of the family's prior establishment, Umami Seoul, we were looking forward to this iteration, and were delighted with the new place! At the same location, but with a brand new interior (a new bar, and gorgeous gochujang-red walls!). The menu features a variety of lightly sauced, super crispy fried chicken (grilled options available for each), and served with perfect pickled korean radish. There are a variety of ramens and tempuras, and an outstanding pork tonkatsu as well, all excellent. Don't miss the light-as-air, crispy rice cake starter, served with an addictive sauce. There's also a tasting of three different pickled radish varieties brought to table. And luckily for me, they still have the best cabbage kimchi in southern California! read more

Check your bill! When ours came, all items on the bill were higher than on the menu. They tried to blame it on their credit card system but makes no sense. It is more likely they are automatically adding a credit card fee, even though you may pay cash (this was added on each item on the bill). This is deceptive, and even though the food was ok, we won't go back. read more

I loved everything we had a great time! Great little gem! Took my mom and wife there they loved everything too!

First time here - and the food was incredibly delicious! Waiter very attentive/helpful with first timer suggestions. Variety of menu choices made choosing difficult. This is most definitely on our repeat list. read more

The hours are unpredictable. We have made several attempts to have lunch there and the restaurant is closed. No sign noting why and hours clearly posted on the door. We have finally given up. read more

Had saved this to try and finally made it. The corn dogs are delicious, I'll come back just for them. Also has the Honey Butter Chicken that was very good and a Thai Ice Tea. Our server was excellent, and he was very helpful. read more

I've eaten here twice now both times I had fried chicken and an appetizer. It's a cute little place and the service staff are very nice and well trained. The food is between OK and good, but certainly falls quite short of great. I wouldn't be surprised if the chicken nuggets are just-out of a, frozen box as well as the rice cakes and other things on the menu, the kimchi was rather bland the prices, a little high, considering the ingredients in the quality of the food I would go back if it was convenient however, chances are I probably won't read more

DELICiOUS!!! The KFC was crispy and full of flavor. The pickled radish, perfectly refreshing, and the fried rice cake totally fun, crispy on the outside and stretchy inside. The service was attentive and kind, and the music was great. So glad the PS area now has a great Korean Restaurant to enjoy. read more

The food was amazing! Friendly service and servers! Definitely try the garlic edamame!

Fantastic food... great service! Friends took me for Birthday...did not disappoint.... awesome kimchi....!

Yummy. We tried this place for the first time the other day. We both have the chicken katsu. It was great. It was crisp, light, and very enjoyable. The sides were a good size for a light lunch. Service was friendly and the overall experience was just great. We will be back. read more

Really wanted to like this place but were underwhelmed with the fried chicken. All 4 of us tried 3 of the varieties. The soy garlic and sweet fire received middling reviews. The former was sweet and sticky, the latter wasn't spicy at all. The coating started out crunchy but quick got soft from all the sauce. The honey butter got the most positive response. Should've looked more closely at the menu as we were all surprised by the nuggets. Service was pleasant. Will plan to return to try the Korean specialties but won't order the fried chicken again. read more

Was here only once when it was the previous Umami Seoul. Decided to give it another try with new menu. Ordered the glass noodles with chicken. Tasty dish but the portion size for the price wasn't that great. It was a Saturday night. Full house. The wait time for food was long. read more

Super tasty food, we were there at lunch and the service was great. Both our lunches were delicious and will definitely be back. Tucked into a weird spot, but worth the effort to park. read more

I always see this place on my way to work so I decided to take my brother here to try it with me. Their tteokbokki with fish cake is amazing. It had the right amount of spice, sweetness, and savory flavors. Talking about it is making my mouth salivate. Their tonkatsu and their fried chicken is delicious. So crunchy and tasty. I finally found my go to place for Korean food. The service was great. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family! They're all huge fans of korean cuisine. I'll definitely be back to try the rest of the menu. read more

Great service, Great food, and great ambiance. I love the ramen and the kimchi is so good that I ordered some to take home.

As a fan of Korean food (thanks to Korean friends and a steady diet of K dramas on Netflix) I recently stopped by for lunch and tried the "tteokbokki," a popular spicy Korean street food. The food was delicious, it's a cozy little spot and the owner provided excellent service and delightful conversation. I will be going back again soon for dinner to try the fried chicken with beer and/or soju! read more

Overpriced for what it is. Small portions. Not like traditional Korean restaurant. No appetizers provided. I think they can get away with it because it is the only Korean restaurant nearby but they improve quality. read more

It's a strange name for a restaurant. Anyway, my previous experiences with Korean fried chicken restaurants have involved whole pieces of crunchy and tasty chicken. Be aware, this restaurant serves cut up pieces of crunchy chicken (not hard when they are small breaded pieces), they taste fine, but it isn't that Korean fried chicken experience. The chicken is similar to what you might get in a Chinese restaurant located in a shopping center. Actually, depending on the sauce you select, it could have been General Tso's chicken. The salad and the sides were good. Staff was pleasant. I'd go back, but not at the top of my list. read more

I was excited to visit this new restaurant and new menu. The edamame was fresh and warm, I had the soy garlic fried chicken and it was amazing, the small side salad had the best ginger dressing, the food tasted clean and that's hard to find out here .... Service was on point, attentive but not overwhelming I do wish they made whole piece fried chicken with that same crunch. read more

Food and service is phenomenal. Cozy inside area with good ambiance. KFC and Soba noodles are incredible.

Run by the same family, this restaurant now focuses on Korean food and it's really very good. As someone who used to live near K town in LA I crave good Korean food and this place does not disappoint. read more

The Korean fried chicken was truly delicious and a true standout / must have. Really tasty appetizers as well with both kimchi mandu and shumai being on point. Simple drinks but enjoyable for our later afternoon lunch/ early dinner. Wasn't busy but the server was perfectly attentive and giving us space when needed. A big thank you. read more

Been really excited to try this place but was disappointed. The edamame portion was way too small and the pork Mandu was underwhelming. Spicy ramen was not spicy! The Korean corn dogs were LIFE CHANGING AMAZING !!! Fried chicken was a bit overdone but the honey butter sauce was delish. read more

We had a fantastic meal here last night... Edamame (both regular and garlic); Korean Fried Chicken (in two preparations: soy glaze and spicy/sweet), Noodles, Kimchi, and the best Ginger Ice Cream. Our waiter, Brent, and host/manager, Isabelle, were very friendly and provided excellent service. During the meal and afterwards we were approached to see if everything was to our satisfaction and could they have done anything better. I'm giving this place an A+ for both their delicious food and excellent customer focus. We look forward to returning again soon. Oh, BeeCh please stands for "Beer and Chicken please".... read more

WAS UNAMI SOUL; Food costs, labor and other overhead can force business owers to look for cost savings, makes perfect sense. In the case of UNAMI SOUL rebranding to "BeeCh, Please" and completly chaning their menu, it was not a success. The experience from 9-10-2023: the old sign UNAMI SOUL is still up with new hanging signs "BeeCh, please. We sat down and being curiouis I asked the waiter if there was new managment and or had the business been sold. He said, no and that things had not changed much, still great. We ordered tempura appitizer with shrimp and vegtables; everwhere I have eaten this plate the vegies tempura cosisted of sweet potatos, mushroom, string bean, onions, etc. with some minor variations. There was two thin shrimp, but the vegie tempura was small slivers of carrot and other diced vegies, similar to what you would find in a vegie spring roll, dipped in batter and fried into a cluser, this was really bad. The batter itself was heavy and thick, oppsite of a good tempura batter. The chicken dish was also fried in the same batter, and they charged an extra 4 or $ 5 (don't recall exact price) for a very small portion of white rice, 2/3's of a normal portion in a small asian style rice bowl. I seldom write reviews but in this case if you're expecting the quality and selection of the food to match UNAMI SOUL, best to look for another place. Maybe it was just a bad day at "BeeCH, Please" and we were expecting a similar experience as UNAM SOUL; we were very disappointed and will not go back. The staff should be up front about a "complete" menu change from UNAM SOUL. If you're looking for Korean / Japanese food, "BeeCH, Please" is NOT the plaece for that cuisine... Should have kept the original menu and just increased the prices. read more

Great to have a Korean Chicken joint in the CV. Taste is good, but portions of the chicken aren't exactly overflowing. $9 drafts are a bit steep. That said, I will be back because, although pricey for what you get, it is pretty good. read more
