Bee Towing does not honor their quotes and will attempt to increase the price after the service is completed. We called Bee Towing in Irvine for a tow and were quoted $140, which we negotiated down to a flat $100 total. Before confirming, I specifically asked multiple times: - Are there any service fees? - Any handling fees? - Anything added on top? The answer was clear: "No. $100 total. That's what you'll pay." Based on that, we booked the tow. After the car was already hooked up, transported, and dropped off, we were suddenly told the total was $150. That is a direct contradiction of what was agreed upon. We immediately called to resolve it, and this is where it escalated. The dispatcher who picked up turned out to be an individual from Brady Bros Towing (a separate towing company that has sus dealings), claiming they have multiple dispatchers working across calls. That alone is extremely concerning and makes it unclear who you are actually dealing with when you call these companies. During this call: - He was hostile and dismissive - Refused to provide his name when asked - Completely ignored the confirmed $100 quote - Claimed extra fees were always part of it (despite explicitly telling us otherwise earlier) - Threatened to impound the vehicle if we didn't pay the jacked up price immediately Meanwhile, the driver was on the phone with someone identified as the "boss lady," who we later learned is related to that rude dispatcher (his cousin). After going back and forth, the price was suddenly lowered to $120, which only proves that the pricing is completely arbitrary and not based on any consistent policy. If the real price was $150, why drop it? If it was $100, why increase it? There is no transparency, just whatever they think they can get away with in the moment. Other major red flags: - Only accepting cash or Zelle - Multiple dispatchers giving completely different pricing - No written confirmation of quotes - Price changes after the job is already completed - Threats used when questioned We paid $120 just to end the situation, but the entire experience felt deceptive from start to finish. Given the conflicting information, shared dispatchers, and pricing tactics, this is exactly the kind of situation that should be reviewed carefully by anyone responsible for overseeing towing practices and consumer protection. Do not rely on anything they quote you over the phone. Get everything documented via recording or avoid entirely. Be ready to call the police to intervene when they end up quoting you more at the drop off with your recording ready for proof. read more

BEWARE!!!!!!!!! If I could give 0 stars, I absolutely would. I called at 3pm asking for a tow. He is .7 miles away and gave me $190 quote to drive down the street. He said 40 min ETA.. comes 4:00 pm, I called and the lady said another 20 minutes, Comes 4:30 I called 20 times!!!! As you can see in the photo provided. Each call was ignored or disregarded. She picked up and hung up on me twice. I kept asking where her driver is and for the next HOUR, she said 5 minutes & proceeded to hangup on me. When the driver finally called me at 5:15 PM, he said ANOTHER 40 minutes!!!! Does this guy even have a brain? Or is he just an undiagnosed ret@rd? ... the tire shop down the road closes at 6, wtf is the point now?? I told him F his business and $hitty customer service & he responded with "F*** you bi***" with his thot sitting next to him trying to be sassy with me too. You are all tra$h!!! My daughter got out of day care at 5:30, and I had to pick her up.. but because of their irresponsibility, my mother in law had to take 2 busses to get my daughter from daycare. DISGUSTING! I ended up having my ex have to drive all the way from DOWNEY (where I live) and call his triple A to get me the help I needed. Triple A took 30 minutes & I got home at 8 pm!!!! Insanity!!!!!!!!! I'll be reporting you all to the BBB. This experience was the absolute worst, disgusting, dishonest, disrespectful experience & I wish NOBODY has the same. STAY AWAY from this company. Hopefully you don't speak to your wife daughter or mother the same way. read more

I had a night out and lost my keys.. it was like 2am but Bee Towing totally came through to help me out and get me back in my car, and all in less than an hour! read more

Woman was very rude on the phone. She refused to give me a quote because she was not a technician. Kept asking me for all of my information even though I kept telling her all I wanted was a quote. Finally she quoted me at $7-10 per mile which is very expensive, other companies quoted me at less than half of that. Expensive, and bad customer service. read more

Dishonest company, I would avoid at all cost. I called at 3pm 2/22/23 for a tow. Was told it was $175 and will be a 40 minute ETA. Called them back 4:30pm, the girl in the office said she would find out the new ETA and have someone call me, because she was leaving for the day. Call again at 5:30pm now the charge is magically $250, and they are still 30-60 minutes out. My van was finally picked up at 6:45 and they cannot send me an invoice to give to my insurance for reimbursement. read more

As further evidence that this company is comprised of a bunch of crooks, I just checked my credit card and they charged me the full $975.00 for a service they didn't even perform. Not the cancellation fee, the full quoted amount. I encourage everyone who has dealt with this company to report them to the Better Business Bureau. They shouldn't be allowed to operate in this manner. read more

I am not someone who devotes time to writing something unless it is good reviews but everyone should know this is not the company to call. Unreliable service, awful customer service (never had an experience like the one with this company, by far). Everything about them is shady. Unethical and scammers. Any other towing company is way better than this one. read more

Do not waste your time with these people. They made me wait almost 6 hours to get my car towed. I understand sometimes people get busy but called 4 time every hour and they kept saying they already had someone on their way. They lied all 4 times and then ended up calling me around the 6th hour to say they could no longer fulfill my request to tow my truck. Uncourteous and inconsiderate service. If you promise to tow vehicles and give an estimated time, stick to it. If your operation is not big enough, do not take any more vehicles than you can operate. read more

I was stranded for almost 2 hours. My husband and I called 3 times for an eta and every time the representatives said "your tow will be there in a few". We requested immediate service yet that made no difference. I was charged $50 for cancellation and was threatened to get charged $100 because I let them know what was upsetting about their service. Scam. Don't use this company. They don't prioritize their customers. IF I COULD POST 0 STARS I WOULD! read more

DO NOT CALL. DO NOT BOTHER. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. I DONT CARE HOW DESPERATE YOU ARE!! TURN AWAY! First of all, the number your about to call is just an agency. They are not their own towing services. It's just a bunch of women in a office calling up random towing companies to get you a technician. Their quotes are lies. We got quoted $130-$170 to get towed 9 miles, we got charged with $240. Tried to call back and asked why we were getting charged so much and they had no direct answer. Please, save yourself and don't call this place. We just got ripped off and it sucks. Find a place with better reviews. read more

This is a scam company, avoid at all cost!! We waited for 1 hour and 50 minutes when they are only five miles away from us. And the price they gave me on the phone was $49 to $89, but they are planning to charge me 150 for this when they finally arrive here. Everything is rudely made and they don't give a crap About consumer's anger! All the five star reviews here are probably made by themselves. They took your credit card info before sending the driver, and they will charge you an expensive cancellation fee if you don't take their service for a damn high price! read more

DO NOT CALL THIS TOW COMPANY. I was quoted a $55 fee by the dispatcher to come out to John Wayne Airport and jump start my car which had died while I was away on a 10-day trip. In addition, one of my tires had gone flat, so I also informed the dispatcher that I needed the tire filled. (I didn't feel like changing over to the doughnut spare at the time) Sure enough the tow truck driver shows up, the tire is filled, the car has started and is idling to charge the battery. The driver says that the total charge is $165! $55 for the call, $55 for the jump, and $55 for the air for the tire! I confronted the driver about the ridiculous amount of the charges, and that I was told nothing of the additional fees for actually doing something. I would have driven off at that point but his truck had me boxed in. He told me to call the dispatcher, which I did, and after checking with someone in the office, Haley confirmed that the charges were indeed correct. After expressing my disbelief, she informed me that I should have asked what the additional charges were prior to authorizing the service. I replied that I had informed her coworker of what I needed done and that I was quoted $55, which I would have no problem paying. She said that the total after service was $165 and that I needed to pay it for me to be able to move my car. Already very late for work, I paid them their ransom. I'll be having a conversation with my credit card company about a charge back. Thanks Bee towing for providing the impetus for my first Yelp review. P.S. My car died 20 minutes later at an intersection so I had to get it jumped (by another company of course). The fee? $50 all inclusive. read more

Terrible experience. 1 just to get a tow truck I had to answer a million questions and I had to repeat myself multiple times 2 over priced. Same city cost $175 3 they took almost an hour to get me. Poor poor poor. read more

So, We called at 10:09am this morning, a super nice girl answer the phone, we had gotten a flat tire and a she said they could actually dispatch someone right now. I asked the prices, $49 for hook up and "$55-$85" for 5 miles, cool. At 11:06 my boyfriend called and asked about the eta, it had been a while and the girl, not asking what car, who, or anything said hold on let me ask. Puts us on hold for a little and says "20 minutes" and before we could say anything hangs up the phone on us, she was pretty rude. At 11:38 I call again, it has been past 20 minutes, and she asks what car I am calling about, I tell and she seems mildly more concerned and tells me to hold on she's calling the driver. She gets back to me and says his "GPS says 8 minutes and his last pick up changed places 3 times"... He finally arrives, clumsily puts my car on the truck, he goes the wrong way, turns back around and we get to Costco, 1.7 miles from where we were. They end up not being able to take us so we go to Big O which is 2.2 miles away from Costco. FINALLY, he says that's going to be $195, which is outrageous. I call the office and ask why it's that much and the girl says that it should only be the $49 plus $55-85 for no special hook ups, she said that she talked to his boss and he would let him know this. I tell the driver that so he calls his boss and hands me the phone and this man says it's $49 plus the $55-85, and he took us 7 miles and that it costs money to change our destination, and it was $10 per mile after 5. He didn't even unhook the car! This was awful, we waited forever with no apology, she said they were dispatching someone right then and we waited an hour and a half then they shoot the prices up. Even If we paid the $49 + $85 the 2 extra miles they tacked on would total to $154 so i guess it's $41 to move 2 miles to a new place when we only went 3.9 miles :) The trucks say B &A towing, I made sure to get a receipt. The google reviews must be planted because this was an awful experience. I wish I could give 0 stars. read more

Super friendly service, super fast! I didnt wait too long and the guy got my car on his tow truck in less than 5 seconds!

Nice service.. Joe is quite friendly and kind. Further, he gave a great service! Even late night, he did his best to fix my car!! read more

Worst towing ever!!!!!! They quota me $295 for just 7miles towing. During the towing, they scratched my car and didn't willing to show their company's insurance. So I called the polices! But it wasted a hour to let them show the insurance's paper. Then they accounted the another hour for charge. The final price is $550!! THEY ARE ROBBER!!! Never call them again. They are evil. read more

SCAMMERS DONT GO HERE. I was told 100$ for the initial tow. Then waited an hour and half and got called back and told it was going to be $190 for a 0.5 mi tow. I asked them why and they said it's the service fee. Then he was rude and hung up in my face. And then after waiting another hour I was blocked. I called on my google number and was picked up right away with the first woman I spoke to who told me $100. I told her that it was unacceptable that I was going on waiting 3 hours for a tow and had to pay $190 and I was blocked from calling as well. I know I sound like a Karen but I wasn't at all. Frustrated at most but this was something I never experienced. 3 hours waiting for a tow and then having to pay $190 and getting blocked. When I told the woman all this she fixed it for me and gave me the tow at $100 again. But in all I waited 3 hours for a tow. When I called purposely at 6:30 am so I wouldn't have that problem but I understand things happen but to be blocked and charged 190 was too much. read more

Valen verga. Never showed up. Said they would arrive in about 30 min. Waited for over 2 hours said they're 24 hour service yet they're phone kept ringing and finally hanging up read more

Quoted $55-85 less than a quarter mile tow turned into be $170. Than he he said he couldn't accept card and I couldn't call it in. "Is there any close banks by?" Seriously this company is shady be careful with the quotes on the phone. read more

I called to get a tire changed. Lady over the phone told me prices varied and estimated $49 to maybe $35. The towing man was great! He helped out. But when the price was processed they charge me $120! Ridiculous! I called back to see if we could worked something out because I the estimate they have me was super off!!! They said they could to nothing to help me!! $120 for a tire changed! Just too much. Never again! I should of just towed my car to my mechanic! read more

If I could rate this zero stars I would. Had I known they were going to lie twice about their time estimate I would've called somewhere else. They wasted my time... what should've been a 45 minute wait turned into a 2hr and 30 min wait. Plus, they ended up increasing the initial price they had told me. So my advice, call a different towing service read more

Worst towing experience I've ever had. I called at 5pm to get a tow to an Autoshop that closed at 6. They quoted me 30 minutes and around $60. After many calls and 2.5 hours later, the tow truck finally showed up. The two guys were not very professional, asked to buy my car and then scratched my paint with their jack. After they got it jack up they told me it would be $200.... I told them I wasn't going to pay that much and he tried to make under the table deals with me. I still refused and ended up just telling them to put my car back in the stall. It may have just been the individuals I got, but I definitely would not recommend. read more

BS overcharge. I got an estimate for $55-$85. I said ok. They towed my car 3 miles. Went upstairs and got an email saying I got charged $150. Called back and told me we charge more because it's off the freeway. Wow, thanks for the heads up. I could of gotten of the freeway if that was the case. read more

My office is also in Tustin so I called a local company. They got out within a few hours which was nice (and why they got 2 stars instead of 1). It took about 3 minutes to jump start a car for me and then I was told the cost was $125. One hundred and twenty-five dollars!! I called the office and said "That's a bit extreme don't you think?", to which the man's response was "You should have asked what the price was when you called!". I did not talk with him when I first called in. How did he know if I did or didn't ask the price? I'm guessing he's used that line a few times before. Lesson learned. I paid the $125 and will not call them again.. read more

Do NOT use this company, their price is EXTREMELY high and they claim to be average in industry which is not true. Try other towing companies. read more

Don't waste your time, I had a booking for two cars to be moved in three days time by a specific time and they price matched another quote on the phone until it can time to pick up the vehicles and told me it would be another $150. Thanks Aaron great truck driver I'll refer all my friends to you. read more

Expensive as hell with sub-par services, find another towing service. I called them after getting stranded with a flat tire and needed them to tow my car to a nearby tire shop. The young (sounding) guy who answered the phone was a douche and had this passive-aggressive attitude (blatantly arrogant tone while almost sarcastically saying "sir"). He wouldn't tell me how much it would cost either and judging from the reviews here, he probably figured I would take my business elsewhere once I found out about his outrageous asking price. He wouldn't tell me how much it would cost saying it varies so he can't say but still wanted my debit/credit card number. I told him I can't give him any payment information without at least an estimate first. He then told me it would cost $140 to tow my car 5 miles. I told him that's way more than I expected and he started giving me excuses about how it's rush hour so it costs more and how they'd need extra "special equipment" to tow my car and how it would be the same price at any other towing company. Then he asked me in an accusatory tone how much I expected it to be. Frustrated, I told him I'll try somewhere else first. The very next towing company I called (also found thru Yelp) towed my car for $63... less than half of Bee Towing's price for the exact same job. It would cost the same at any other towing company, huh? You would think at least the service would have been friendly with such highway robbery prices. read more
