My experience here was not the best, but it was OK. My children came here for a fun experience, but we were greeted instead with disorganization and not very concerned staff. The service here was horrible, my children weren't given clear instructions and they said "they don't even know how to make slime" the slime they made was dry, stale, and overall horrible. if you come here with your kids please note that their "crunchy" textured slime is going to be difficult to play with. My kids don't like the slime they made and the prices here are crazy! The location is in Glendale, which is a very nice area. If you are in Glendale I recommend going to the five below instead, the slime there is $5 and gives you a better experience because the slime isn't dry and hard to play with like at Bee's. The staff were pretty bad. We walked in there was not even greeted properly, one lady with blond hair was rude and ignored my daughter who wanted her slime to be stretchy and the lady just ignored her! Who does that?? I didn't get a chance to ask her name but the employee with black hair was the nicest one there. She helped my kids out but we left with pretty bad slime and not a good experience. read more

My daughter recently visited Bee's Arts & Crafts on a school field trip and was excited to spend the $10 I gave her. She purchased a green butter slime for $3, an orange butter slime for $2, and an ice cube squishy for $5. The ice cube squishy was definitely her favorite purchase. She has been playing with it nonstop and absolutely loves it. Unfortunately, the homemade butter slime was very disappointing. Within just one day, both slimes dried out significantly and barely stretch anymore. My daughter was especially upset because she spent half of her money on the slime and expected it to last longer than a single day. As a parent, it's frustrating to see a child so excited about a purchase only to have it become unusable almost immediately. While we were very happy with the squishy, I hope the quality of the homemade slime can be improved so future customers get better value for their money. read more

The worst, do not book. They didn't even order us enough pizza. They said they ordered the exact amount and didn't know what happened. As a business that makes no sense. Even if it was enough, what would they do if they dropped one, extra should be factored in in case of human error. I had to run around trying to find a way to feed the kids that didn't have lunch. Additionally, pizza has 8 slices, they ordered them to be cut in 10 slices. They are trying to cut corners. If you are charging for pizza you should give a whole slice. Same lady was extremely rude again and told our kids to stand up and go cause time is up thus causing chaos. They need to understand that they are dealing with kids and it is not their job to direct them, that is up to the chaperone. We are the ones that need to keep them safe and know how to. When it came time for lunch they didn't clean off all table first. They were serving pizza next to paint and puddles of water. The kids has to get their own drinks causing a bunch of spills. The same lady was shooing kids away at one point which is unacceptable. I could go on and on. I tried again this year cause at least they were organized last year. Will never come back. read more

If I could give Bee's Arts & Crafts Studio zero stars, I absolutely would. Where do I even begin? From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by disorganization and an overwhelming sense that no one at this studio has any idea what they're doing. The "art" they showcase is an embarrassing collection of projects that I can only assume were created by people who never bothered to learn basic art techniques. Now, onto the real disaster: My students paid $18 to create a tie-dye pillowcase. What a joke. The pillowcase they provided was so low quality that even my 5th grade students commented that they wouldn't want to put their head on it. It felt like cheap fabric that would fall apart after a single wash. As for the dye? It was watered down, cheap, and completely ineffective. We weren't given proper instructions for care, except for the vague "wash in warm water when you get home." Well, we followed their advice, and guess what? ALL the dye came out, and our pillowcase was white again. Completely ruined. And if you thought that was bad, the event itself was pure chaos. There was zero organization. The whole place was a circus. To add insult to injury, we were charged an additional $5 for a small slice of pizza and dollar store-brand juice. And here's the kicker: the teachers had to serve themselves. That's right--no one could even be bothered to provide basic service. It was like we were an afterthought in their rushed, unorganized day. They just want to make money and turn over the space. It's clear they don't care about the quality of anything they sell or offer. But the worst part? After I called to inform them that the product was defective, I got serious pushback. Instead of offering a refund or even an apology, they insisted that we come back and pay again for another pillowcase to replace the defective one. Are you kidding me? I had already paid for a product that was clearly defective, and they wanted me to pay more for something that should have been fixed in the first place. Absolutely ridiculous. It only got worse when I tried to resolve the issue. The owner, Brenda, refused to speak with me directly. After weeks of back-and-forth with her secretary, Brenda finally texted me--but refused to have a real conversation on the phone. Her texts were extremely rude and dismissive, and she would not take responsibility for her business's mistake. She basically told me that "what she says goes." And then, to top it off, she threatened to email my principal because she didn't like my tone. Funny thing? She didn't even know my name! She had to ask me who I was. Clearly, she didn't care enough to find out before sending me a text. It was completely unprofessional and infuriating. She attempted to end the conversation by stating that she was "a very, very busy woman" and that's "why she has a secretary" and that if I have any issues to direct them to her. I would never, never recommend Bee's Arts & Crafts Studio to anyone, as a teacher or a parent. It's a sad excuse for a creative space, and if you value your time, energy, and money, steer clear! I really wanted to support this business, especially since it promotes arts for children, something I truly value as an artist. However, my recent experience was deeply disappointing. If I could post negative 5 stars, I would. I made several attempts to book my daughter's party at a specific location (seems they have a bunch), and even received an email directly from the CEO asking if I had been contacted to complete the booking. Despite all my efforts and follow-ups, I still didn't receive clear communication or a confirmed booking without calling multiple times which was frustrating. It should have been a red flag, but I moved forward, hoping the event would go smoothly once I had my reservation. I'd like to mention at this time that on the booking call I finally was able to make I specifically asked when I would need to let the business know the final head count. I was told it was not necessary to call back, that the count didn't matter. Confused but went with it. On the day of the party, I arrived about 30 minutes early to find that the location was essentially closing down, with a sign at the entrance indicating it was the last day of business. This was never disclosed to me beforehand, on any of the calls or emails. The space was disorganized, with tables and chairs piled in the corner and shelves half-empty. Despite this, I did my best to make it work as my child's party was about to begin and I didn't have much of a choice. As guests arrived, I had to direct them to their seats, ask the host about available plaster pieces, and essentially guide everyone through the process. While I expected to greet my guests, I did not anticipate having to manage the entire event. After about 20 minutes into the 90-minute party, most of the children had already finished their plaster pieces. I had to interrupt the host, who was on her phone, to ask when the face painting (which was included in the package) would begin. Unfortunately, the face painting took a long time and was subpar, leading to restless and unruly waiting children. To make matters worse, I had to interrupt the host again to ask when the food would be arriving, as pizza was supposed to be included in the party package. Over an hour into the event, the pizza still hadn't arrived. Eventually, I noticed a delivery person circling the mall with the pizza, and I had to get the host to flag them down to confirm it was ours. Two pizzas were delivered, but it wasn't nearly enough for all the guests. Let's go back to when I asked about that head count... I purposely arrived early to setup my balloons, carry in the goody bags, cake, etc and as soon as I arrived, I made sure to mention the final guest count. As pizza doesn't take 2 hours to make, and they insisted no head count was necessary, I assumed it would be ordered that morning. Silly me... after finding out only 2 pies were orders I even offered to pay extra for more pizza, but was told it was too late to adjust the order. When the pizza arrived, the host placed it on a back table, left it there, and returned to sitting at the front without acknowledging me, or anyone for that matter. Ten minutes later, I had to ask where the plates, napkins, and drinks were, and was told to help myself by going into the employee area. The drinks were warm, and I was left to clear the tables to make room for everyone to eat. Given the amount of money I paid for the event, I was extremely disappointed with the level of service and felt as though I was hosting my own party at an overpriced venue. Finally, the last 5 minutes of the party, the host finally brought the painted pieces into the back, still wet, and said she sprayed them with a clear finishing coat. My guests all had to leave with tacky painted pieces. I guess with the place closing, they couldn't be glazed or fired properly for later pickup - or maybe they don't actually do that anyway, I am not sure. A week later, I was still quite upset with the overall experience. I reached out to the CEO directly to share my concerns and seek a resolution, hoping for something like a small discount or at least an apology. Unfortunately, I didn't receive any response for 2 weeks. So I followed up, as I felt it was the right thing to do to try to allow this company to fix the issue before leaving a negative review. The response I got was unprofessional and dismissive - I was offered a return visit to a different location, to which I respectfully declined given everything that had happened. A kind answer would of went a long way but again ignored. I followed up one last time to see if anything further could be done and instead was met with threats that they would be contacting their lawyers because I stated that I hoped to resolve this without going and leaving this public review. I'm sharing my experience now to warn other parents: I do NOT recommend this business for anything, and I would advise against booking a party at any of their locations. read more

This place is amazing. They have painting, plaster craft, slime making, and art classes too. We went to a few birthday parties here and a few individual classes and had a good time every time. Every single one of their staff is so warm and helpful, always checking on you if you or your little one needs anything. The owner is so friendly and welcoming and her personality truly comes out in her studio space. So cool to see them expand their wonderful studio and I'm sure we will be back for more events and classes. read more

So I had the idea to propose to my now fiancé at a paint and sip type of place and had recently heard about this place so I decided to message Brenda on Instagram. She couldn't have been more accommodating. She was almost as excited as I was to make it happen here and it showed. It's a super nice space, the staff is very friendly and helpful, my fiancé was shocked and everyone that attended had a great time painting. My daughter attended a school trip here and it was amazing. The place is nice and organized the instructors are so good with the kids keeping them attentive and helping them.
