I happened to notice it after going by and wanted to check it out because it has some healthy items. They were closed however, and their hours are limited so it took awhile to get back here when it was actually open. A lot of people like the teas, and I agree. Quite refreshing. Also the last time here I had an Açaí Bowl. It's $11 for a pretty big one. This has almonds, blueberries, and coconut on top. Good and healthy. They also have custom options. Cool place literally. It has satisfying açaí bowls with lots of flavor and tons more. The prices are pretty okay compared to other places.

Walking up, you can't help but feel at peace. It's a very quiet peaceful place. Everyone was helpful and nice! The decorations are minimal and very relaxed. It feels as if you walked into a piece of paradise in the middle of a town. The outdoor seating is located in the heart of downtown Glenellyn. It's very laid-back and festive. I ended up getting the "Crandmerry Rose" juice. It was so bright, clean, and refreshing. I loved how tangy it was! I didn't get a chance to try anything else. But, I'll definitely be back! Crandmerry Rose-This juice is bright and bold. It's light and Summery! I love how tangy, tart, and fresh it is. It has that addictive bite with a crisp finish. I loved it!

She knew i was always on the search for smoothies that were a healthy choice. I was not disappointed! The person helping me have me a sample of the lemon mojito tea. He explained that it has aloe in it as well as b complex and green tea. It was very refreshing! I opted for a smoothie for myself and hubby. He wanted something chocolate and caramel but there wasn't anything like that on the board. I explained my dilemma and they custom made one! I went for the chocolate lover smoothie and it was sooo good! These are big and very filling and we used them as a meal replacement, not a snack. This is located right next to Studio 209 and close to The Little Popcorn shop. It's bright, clean and welcoming inside. Check it out!

I was dehydrated, exhausted, and in desperate need of revival. I ordered a protein shake, and I'm not exaggerating when I say that thing brought me back to life. A few sips in and suddenly I could feel my soul returning to my body. It was cold, creamy, packed with protein, and exactly what I needed after sweating out what felt like 40% of my body weight. The atmosphere was just as refreshing as the shake. Everything was super clean, comfortable, and welcoming, and everyone I interacted with was genuinely nice. Bonita Bowls might officially be a smoothie and bowl place, but at that moment it was basically an emergency medical facility. I walked in barely functioning and walked out feeling like I might actually survive my life choices. My muscles are still mad at me, but at least now I have a delicious protein shake and a fighting chance.

The cheesecake was delicious: dense and not overly sweet. The waffle was also good, just slightly chewy with a green pandan custard filling. The staff were very friendly and told us all about the different drinks on the menu, but we just went with water because I had already had my allotment of caffeine for the day. Cute decor including paintings from local artists for purchase and giant bubble teas! It was a bit warm inside but there's also outdoor seating if you would prefer that. We will definitely return to try the Japanese cheesecake!
