I was sold of the claimed virtues of these appliances but found that they were the worst that I'd ever owned. I would have written sooner but did not know of this site. The washer quite often twists up the laundry and the dryer makes it even worse even if untangled before drying. This Whirlpool dryer requires babysitting especially when doing bedsheets as it usually forms a lump which requires a number of stops to untangle for each drying cycle. In addition, the filtering mechanisms - 2 different sets of filters, need to be cleaned after a few uses. The secondary filter failed and Whirlpool knew there was a problem with these filters so they designed a new one. I had to pay over $100 for their new and improved filter - What a laugh! Just as bad and hard to clean. I felt that I was given poor information when purchasing, and no help when I returned to the store with issues.

Talked to a sales rep but struck out there as well as this style was backordered. Anyway, ordered the part to take our chances. I called to confirm the first scheduled service call and somehow they missed it. Actually they didn't even order the part. About 6 weeks later the part comes in. Broken. Ordered another. Another 6 weeks and we finally have lift off. Appointment scheduled for another Saturday. On time, efficient and yay, the repair works. The delay on the parts was not B-H's fault. Whirlpool said they only get about 16 of them at a time and we would be 273 if I ordered from them. In spite of the delay, and the glitch, these are the nicest crew I've ever dealt with. From Alex and Darren in parts to I think Wade (or Wayne) on the sales floor and outstanding service from I believe it was Steve who completed the repair. I can't believe these appliances have such a short lifespan (it's a cottage) but when I'm in the market B-H will be my first stop.

Without getting into nitty gritty details they: * Gave us a different mattress than the mattress we purchased * Placed that mattress in the mattress cover of the mattress we *did* purchase (see what they did there? Fraud, anyone?) * Set up our mattress upside down (so the memory foam was on the bottom - I didn't notice for months, until a back ache made me unzip the mattress cover (and detect the fraud)) * After a year of pestering them and threatening legal action, they finally replaced the incorrect mattress...with another mattress that was different than the one we originally purchased. * Set up the mattress on a non-approved base, which just broke last month. The legs literally folded over and the mattress sunk in the middle. Yes, we paid for an official Temperpedic base. (So, if you're counting, that's a second fraud). I had an even more scathing review posted on Google for the year I pestered them, but I agreed to take it down if they replaced our mattress. But now there's the issue with the frame as well. So, MoM, if you're listening (and I'm sure you are): I will (once again) take this review down if/when I receive a refund for the Tempur base that we purchased. I'd also like a refund for the difference between what you charged us, and what the replacement mattress you gave us cost. If this review is still up, the reader can know that Mattresses of Muskoka continues to stand behind their frauds, and has not yet refunded us as requested. Ended up ordering through the website as it was $150 cheaper and saved us driving back to Huntsville to place the order even though Huntsville was still doing the delivery. Was told today that they won't be removing the old mattress as they don't do that on out of town deliveries even though they had no problem giving a price to remove the old one the other day when we were looking in the store. I will not spend a another dime at the Brick in Huntsville if that's how they do business. Clearly you can't trust anything that they say. Not impressed!

We purchased a fridge less than two years ago from the Brick and it totally broke down recently. A repair company said that it could not be fixed and that it was a lemon. The Brick was very unhelpful when I called them and spoke abruptly and rudely to me. They repeatedly said that they didn't manufacture the fridge and only sold it so they have no responsibility. They would not apologize and said the issue has nothing to do with them because they did not manufacture it. Do not trust the products sold from their store and the staff is very unpleasant.

For $70, the quality and firmness is very good. The mattress is even flip-able, a feature that is not common nowadays, and can extend the useful life of the mattress. The second reason for the 5 stars rating is the selection. There are 3 models of twin mattress in the showroom. All of them are within my budget of $200. The nicest one costs $200, and it looks like something that would cost more somewhere else. I went to another mattress stores before I came to Springmade. There was only one mattress on sale under $200. One note to people interested in buying a mattress at Springmade: all the prices are HST inclusive, and you can pay by major credit cards. Joe is the owner. If you want to, you can negotiate the price with him directly. I didn't bother to negotiate cause $70 was cheap enough. Thank you, Yelp, for leading me to Springmade.
