I might as well have had the kid next door do the inspection. Relying on this company's report cost me tens of thousands of dollars after purchasing my home. I could not insure the house without replacing the roof, which they estimated to be 10-15 years. They listed two fireplaces/stoves as wood-burning despite there being obvious gas pipes connected to the units. Therefore, they did not inspect them, and one of them had a defective on/off knob. They only listed the existence of a sliding glass door in the sunroom and omitted that it was not functional and had a 2-inch gap between the doors. The rest of the report was sloppy and several inaccuracies. Fred Hagemeyer, one of the owners, made excuses for these errors, claimed the report contained harmless "misstatements", and blamed everyone else for their assessments. However, in our first conversation, he offered to refund the cost of the report. In our final conversation, we negotiated a money amount to help offset my costs resulting from his errors. I am still waiting.
