I went to the showroom to look at the full slabs and Karen was also extremely helpful and knowledgeable. She made arrangements for some slabs to be moved so I could look at a different lot series and ended up finding one I loved over the first one I had chosen. We used this company for two brand new kitchen jobs. The first time, they were wonderful. They have since parted ways with the rep who helped us and it turns out Mike was the only wonderful thing about Bedrock. I have a list of issues about why our experience was so awful and truthfully I did not want to dedicate my time to even writing this review. However, it's been a few months and the actions of the owner are still bothering me, here goes. We had an appointment with the man who measures and makes templates, the store called and asked if he could come to our house earlier in the day. I moved my schedule around and headed home to accommodate him, we don't live close and I was happy to help out. When he arrived he was incredibly rude and spoke down to me. It really bothered me so I told my rep, "hey, can you please not send that particular guy to my house again, I don't want to make a big deal about it but he was pretty rude." My husband and I also had an issue with paying the full amount owed before install, which was a policy change since we had last used the company. We've built/renovated 8 homes and we've never ever paid in full for the job before it was completed. Anyway.. So flash forward to when I was at bedrock checking out my slab (with my 8yr old) The owner cornered me in the fabricator warehouse, raised his voice at me defending this particular employee and threatened to not sell me my stone that had already been picked out and paid for. "I don't need your money, I'll give it back right now" he said, I mean WOW. Pretty sure he wouldn't have treated me like that if my husband was there. He was a complete bully and I was there with my kid! Completely uncalled for and unprofessional. Do not give this company business. read more

From the sales staff in their Norton showroom, to the on-site installers, the service and friendliness of Bedrock's staff was excellent. Their pricing was competitive, and the owner even comes to your house to help with the measurements and with the installation. The quality of the stone and of the installation is perfect. I called bedrock for a quote and spoke to justin. He was extremely professional and knows a lot about the industry. My wife had measured incorrectly the first time around and justin instantly picked up on the measurements being off. He quoted me on the measurements i provided but advised on the final price likely being lower. Sure enough i ended up paying about $800 cheaper than the initial quote, which was already far cheaper than quotes i had gotten from other companies for granite countertops. The stone is beautiful. The woman in the warehouse was helpful selecting colors. They did a nice job matching seams. And the installers definitely worked hard. But the service left us very upset. The counter was cut too long on one side. The installers really struggled to get it in - cut and sanded on site, did what they could, but left multiple issues behind. We immediately contacted the showroom and salesman. His response was basically that they've been doing it for years, couldn't have made a mistake; if measurements were off, must've been intentional and thanks for the business. No offer to even look at it. You can both see and feel the issues on the granite that were left as a result of trying to force too large of a counter into the space. We aren't new to counter installs or renovations. And we definitely understand that people make mistakes. No problem. Own it and fix it. Blatant denial without even offering to look at the product tells me this company - or at least the salesperson - only cared about getting the sale. Not customer satisfaction or pride in work. We spent a lot of money to be left this upset. UPDATE: Updating review to a 3, based on the owner's response. He went above and beyond to fix the issues. True customer service!! Original review stands on the granite-it's gorgeous. Installers worked hard. Would recommend Bedrock for your counter needs. But in good conscience cannot recommend our particular salesman out of the Norton office. He was repeatedly dismissive of our issues, and confrontational about the Yelp review. We recently did a major bathroom remodel. They were very friendly and helpful at the start. They did a pretty sloppy install. It was very difficult to get our calls returned, or to get someone out to even look at it. They finally showed up, shrugged and said that was the best they can do. We had our kitchen counter tops installed by Bedrock Granite recently and we are more than pleased. This is the 3rd granite counter top install we have done in recent years and everything went very smoothly. The ordering process was uncomplicated, the measure and the install were done very efficiently. The installers had to do a small shim accommodation and it went great. We did not get to see the slab, and had some nerves about that, but we were assured that the piece would be beautiful, and, it was. We had to ask for a refund on the tear out of the old counter top (the contractors did it by mistake) and that went without a hitch. We would highly recommend them. Wow. Bedrock Granite's own installers did a poor job installing my granite and snapped off two different pipes inside my walls. Rather than call and ask how BG can make it right, they prefer to swing back at my honest and truthful yelp review. Had BG returned my call or attempted to make me whole I would have taken down my review as I hate posting negitive reviews. However, it's staying up after reading BG's reply. BG: "The installers couldn't find the number on the house and therefore called the store to determine if they were at the right address." Me: My house is clearly marked (house number on the front lawn). My video surveillance camera recorded the installers parked in my driveway and yet they never got out of the truck. However, BG called stating the installers claim that the "customer is not home". Saleswoman called, "Why are you not home?" Me: "The installers are in my driveway but never got out of the truck. How could they come to the conclusion that I was not home?" The service technician was the 1st employee who told me of the installers right to leave and charge a $250 fee. As for the broken pipes, BG states: "Not only is it in the agreement but it is ALWAYS restated at template." Me: It may well be stated in the fine print somewhere but it was NEVER discussed and my wife & I made a list of what we had to do before the installers arrived and we did everything that was explained at 'template time'. BG: "whether or not the installers discussed with the homeowner that either he or they would have to perform the disconnects, I cannot say" Me: You don't have a problem that your own installes did not tell you? You did not ask them after I called you to tell you what they broke? I have already explained to BG that their installers spoke very little English and there was NO conversation that I should have removed the plumbing even after snapping off two different pipes in two different rooms. The only conversation we had was me telling the installers that I would now have to get a plumber to fix it. BG: "The customer "signs off" on the install and yet complains about multiple issues?" Me: Yes, at the end of the job I had to sign my name to a piece of paper the the installers put in front of me as they left the job. Sounds like BG calls that a sign-off and ends any responsibility they have? BG: "The service rep explained to the customer that the installers would have to pay for any damages." That is TRUE. When the serviceman asked what I would want to be compensated for my two days spent fixing the snapped off pipes in the wall, I did state $1,000 which is less than 12% of the $8,686 price tag. The serviceman was quick to reply that "I had no claim against BG and would have to go after the installers if I wanted any money back. The service technician shared that the installers are actually subcontractors and that my claim is with them. However, my only contract is with BG. I did not hire the installers and I find it interesting that they showed up in a BG lettered truck yet BG won't take responsibility for their install. BG says:"We don't dodge customers or try to "deflect" responsibility. The customer seems to be trying to dodge some of his responsibilities as per our agreement which is pretty standard stuff in our industry." Me: I'll let the readers decide who is not owning up to their end of the deal. The guy who paid $8,600+ for his granite and wound up spending two days fixing broken pipes or the Granite company who broke the pipes and says they take no responsibility and I'll have to go after their installers to be made whole. BG: I am not an internet guy and prefer to deal with people face to face as opposed to attacking people from behind a keyboard. Me: That's ironic as you have never called me back but instead took the time to respond to my very honest Yelp review. I'm sure it took longer to type your response then it would have to simply call me. Yelp is not an attack on you or your company. It's a web tool for users to show support of businesses that met or exceeded customer expectations and to warn other buyers when companies FAIL to deliver on what they promise. I had to call BG; they did not call me. Even after their installers broke my plumbing, it was me who had to call them. Bedrock Granite did send out a serviceman to repair the granite but did not send a plumber to fix my broken pipes. I did make an emergency plumber call but the plumber could not make it out so I was forced to take the time off work and fix it myself. After fixing the plumbing, I called to speak with the owner, explaning who I was and what the situation was. Bedrock Granite told me "he was with another customer and would call me right back". Nobody ever called. In fact, even after leaving the negative Yelp review over a month ago and still nobody called me back. They did however respond to my negative Yelp review. My advice: Don't buy from Bedrock Granite. read more

We recently had countertops installed and a farm sink. John the salesman was great to the end. After installation we noticed a mark on the sink. The owner never called us personally nor never tried to make it right as we were not asking to put in another counter and sink in. Was told the installers didn't see any mark. Well one guy didn't even do anything with the install of sink and then this guy took pictures they took were from a distance so obviously couldn't see a mark Just very disappointed on how the owner handled. From the time we walked in to project completion there was no pressure. Justin and Joe were so patient with us, probably took us 6 months to start but they didn't care. Very knowledgable and really taught us about the product that met our needs. They were more than willing to work with us on the timing of our installation. And it doesn't end there! If I could give 2.5 stars, that's what I would give. We got a soapstone kitchen countertop from bedrock granite. Frank was our salesperson. It was higher priced than other stone dealers, but we were assured we were paying for a top-notch job. The stone and stone fabrication was beautiful. They have very advanced tools and technology and the stone came out really very lovely. However, the install did not go well. They gave us a window of time between 11-3 when they were due to show up. They arrived at 2:45 without a call to say that they would be here at the end of the window. While installing the counter, they put huge divots in the Sheetrock around where the counter was installed. The paint was scratched and peeled off and large parts of the Sheetrock were punctured and destroyed. When we complained, they were annoyed and asked us for our spackle and they put a couple coats of spackle on, calked the edge and said it looked fine. It does not look fine. Not at all. I told them I was unhappy with how the walls looked, the owner pushed the invoice at me to pay the remaining balance so he could leave because at this point it was after 5:30. I politely said that although the stone looked very nice, I was very unhappy with how the walls were damaged and that we would have to do significant work to fix them. I told the owner I would be reviewing the work on yelp. He said "fine" and left. He did not shake our hands, he did not offer us anything for the damage that he and his men had done. I will be contacting the better business bureau and calling our salesperson, Frank, to express how upset I am about how our kitchen walls look. I will post pictures on yelp here so that all can see how truly horrific the walls look. Great stone, awful install, even worse customer service. Buyer beware!!!!! read more

Top notch service from the moment we walked through the doors of the Wrentham store and met Carlene to the logistics and install. Our contractor had sent us somewhere a bit further north on 495 and it was a terrible experience. As we were heading home we stopped in at Bedrock Granite and were warmly greeted by Carlene. She listened to us and expertly explained options. She made the design suggestion of having part of our granite in the standard polish and then use the leather texture finish on the other part. We **love** this suggestion and used the leather finish on our island and IT'S AMAZING! It gives a new energy and texture to the kitchen which we love. I'm so grateful for her creativity. The piece we saw that day was sold within the short time it took to get my allowance for granite from my contractor since I wasn't using his vendor and going to make the actual purchase. Carlene worked with me to get another piece that I love and set up temptating and install within a short time. There are many examples of Carlene and team going above and beyond but this review is already getting pretty long. I do want to add that communication was spot on. Carlene explained everything we were singing and it was reiterated during the temptating. My contractor (who has been in business 30 years) was so impressed with the quality, price and service that he will be recommending them in the future. Experiences like this is a strong reminder to shop local and be open to new ideas. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone. read more

I have used these guys twice but won't use them again. They damaged our wall when they installed our vanities but said "there's nothing we can do about it. Read your contract." So I get to waste time patching the wall and repainting a new bath. Their prices are pretty high, basically $90 per foot installed for the vanities, using remnants. I had to get it done for timing reasons. They switched the colors on the vanities, too, and then they broke the piece we selected for our master bath (or so we though) so we had to run over there and pick another piece, which we loved-but it ended up in the kids bath. . They are nice enough, and they do good work, but I'd get a couple other prices if I were you. As a real estate agent and attorney, I won't recommend them to customers or clients, which I've done in the past. If you use them triple check everything. read more

After getting a not so magical quote from a big name kitchen remodeling company we weren't sure we could afford having our countertops done over. We decided to check out a couple of the smaller places and we're sure glad we did. Bedrock Granites showroom was very well put together, with large samples of all the various granite colors they had and a couple of displays with cabinets, sinks, etc. The price per sq ft was clearly marked on each sample. In a back room and around the outside of the showroom they had large whole slab samples of the more popular colors. The staff there was very helpful in suggesting different color options that would look great with our existing cabinets. We left the showroom with a couple of samples on loan and a quote that made us very happy, only a third of the cost of the previous quote we got. We decided to go with Bedrock Granite the next day and called back to arrange for the installation. One of the owners came out the following evening to draw up the templates for the countertops, clearly explaining what they were going to do and what we needed to do to prepare. We received a card in the mail a couple of days later thanking us for our business. About a week later the installers came out to get the new countertops put in place. They were very professional, removing the old countertops and getting the new ones in place. They cut the back splashes on-site. After they were done they cleaned up everything and gave us some recommendations for cleaning products and maintenance of the countertops. They also gave us a beautiful cutting board made out of some of the leftover granite. We did have a minor issue with the placement of one the countertops but the they were very helpful and just as responsive as before we had paid them. Bedrock Granite was one of the best companies we have ever dealt with. Their prices were great, the installation crew was very professional and the countertops came out looking great. I used Bedrock Granite for a small bar top I wanted installed in my kitchen. I knew what I was looking for but had no idea where to start. I live locally and decided to pop in one day I had off from work and so glad I did. Carlene was awesome with helping me narrow down a color choice on a piece of granite and Joe went out of his way to come to my house later that day to get exact measurements for me and even offered his advice on how big the bar top should be, how it should be installed, etc. Everything went so smoothly and I paid for everything that day and within a week and a half, had my granite bar top installed. There was a small glitch with the apt for the installation but it was nothing major that would deter me from this company! Installers were absolutely awesome, courteous, clean and did an amazing job. I was stood up by another granite company and needed the work done fast. Bedrock was able to come to my house and template on two days notice, with installation scheduled for the following week. We had a small set back because my handyman did not properly level the cabinets. The install team was able to come back out 2 days later when the issue was resolved to finish the installation. The only thing that I still am not 100% sure on is the securing of my under mount sink and dishwasher. I have heard from some folks that the granite companies usually take care of this, while others have said they do not. Either way, they left me with a high grade tube of silicone and were on their way. My handyman completed securing the sink and dishwasher with no issues Overall, I would recommend Bedrock to others. Everyone from Carlene (sales) Joe (one of the owners) and the entire installation team were extremely professional and made it a positive experience.
