Firm belief... We…read moreall need some me time and with various spas and skin care nothing beats a good night sleep, with various places that offers that this Mattress Firm located on super busy Kapiolani on the corner of Kapiolani and Piikoi in it's own free standing building makes it easy to park with lots of free stalls the makes the stress to start shopping an easy process. Walking in we were immediately greeted and was asked all the basic questions of what we're looking for which is a mattress and ruled out anything that's memory foam and just something simple which we were instantly taken to a few options for us and a matter of choose the firmness we desired. The other options that we did have is there is no longer box springs that supports the mattress which is a nicer option so it's just that and the base where that's the other option to choose from the basic to the bougie one that will lift your mattress to a more comfort and supportive fit. Seriously not knowing much of the difference or comparison with any other type of mattress but did love that they do offer a lot of accessories so that you don't need to shop for like mattress cover and sheets as well but we did keep it simple and they do deliver and remove your old mattress as well making it a simple process and since there was a type of sale that worked well for us we walked away feeling great knowing that some comfort was as easy process as giving them a visit. Thank you!

I purchased my second box "spring" and mattress from these folks because I got such great service…read morefrom Michael the first time. Because I now have arthritis I needed something comfortable that would support my body as opposed to giving me grief. I had purchased a Purple mattress from another dealer and returned it because it just didn't feel supportive enough. I opted for a Tempur Pedic so I had to try out different degrees of firmness to find the right one and I had to consider the price and the right box spring, which took a second visit. The place wasn't busy either time (and there was an older couple trying to figure out whether they should purchase another high-end brand and no one was helping them). I don't know if I appeared to not to be serious or if I could afford the Tempur Pedic but I didn't feel a whole lot of love from the woman who was working with Michael. I was almost tempted to walk out and try out another vendor who also sold Tempur Pedic but I chose to go through with the purchase and coordinated having my niece's husband pick up my new bed. As we were wrapping up the woman told me I was eligible for something free, including a Tempur Pedic pillow, which I took. What she didn't tell me, and I found out later, is that those pillows are designed in different thicknesses based on the distance between your shoulder and jaw(?). It was already too late to return it for the right fit but I would have liked to have known or told that ahead of time. This was a major purchase, one that I do not regret at all, but perhaps, I would have thought I'd receive a follow up call or note to find out if I was happy with my purchase. I sure was feeling that my business wasn't valued, except when we picked up the bed and Michael was on hand for us.

So, after the disastrous experience with Lowe's we headed back to Ross Appliance. We found exactly what we were looking for and it comes with a 6 months warranty. Purchased it on a Friday and the appliance was delivered on Monday. The sales associate said they would call us before heading over and to give them a 2hr window from 12pm-2pm. We received a call at 12:31pm and they were at our place at 12:41pm. The appliance was installed and the delivery/installation guys stayed to make sure it was working after set up. Everything was great. I would recommend this place not only because they are reputable, but because it's sustainable and environmentally friendly to purchase refurbished. The appliance is in great condition and looks almost exactly like a brand new one.

Buyer beware here is their response for me to take care of this on my own. For the price and support this is a 1 star would be zero if possible. That said, here are some suggestions you may consider to help manage or improve the condition: Use a wood filler or repair putty to smooth out the split area, followed by a light sanding and touch-up stain. Apply furniture wax or sealant to protect the wood from absorbing excess moisture in the future. Maintain stable room conditions by keeping the furniture away from direct sunlight, heaters, or damp areas to minimize further expansion or contraction. Engage a local furniture repair service if you'd prefer a professional touch-up. We'll be closing the claim since this type of concern is not covered under the warranty.

It was just time, plus my mom was having a hard time getting in and out of it, so a new bed was needed. Did my research and picked this store because of the high ratings. They haven't had that many recent reviews, but I went right to them as soon as I got off the plane! Calenn gave a friendly hello, and proceeded to show me the beds they had. I told him I needed it delivered this week, and he checked his inventory and one of the ones I liked, he had, and it was on sale. It could be delivered a few days later and the times were 8-8 pm. My parents senior living building said the best times were 9-11 or 1-5, so it doesn't interrupt lunch. I spoke to I believe Mark, and he said if I wanted a special delivery, it would cost extra, so I took my chances. I don't know if Mark said anything, but my delivery confirmation was between 9:30-11:30! And then they were early! Mel and Elijah were great! They were so friendly and kind to my parents! But what impressed me the most was when they took off their shoes before entering! Very respectful! They moved the old mattress and box springs, and even went so far as to break down the old frame. They didn't have to do that. They set the legs to the lowest height., set the Sealy medium, Euro pillow top mattress on top, and were done! Mel even said, "Ok aunty and uncle, hope you enjoy your new bed." And then they took the old mattress away. This was a really great experience, and it made everything much easier! Big Mahalos Calenn, Mel, and Elijah!

Superior furniture... and Service to match!…read more When my mom said that she wanted to go to "Ashley Furniture Store", my gut feeling was - oh, no... It's expensive. Mom had seen an advertisement on television for Ashley HomeStore. She had been to other furniture stores where she couldn't find what she wanted. Mom also had a brochure from the Navy Exchange, showing an Ashley cabinet that she was interested in, but the NEX didn't have it and it was out of stock in California, too. The combination of shopping around; watching the television commercial; and having a photo in a brochure motivated my mom to ask me to take her to Ashley HomeStore! I'll do anything for my mom. She spends a lot of time in the living room where she wants to replace some tables with better looking cabinets with storage space. I want mom to be happy, so, I held in my opinion and drove her to Ashley HomeStore. There are five Ashley locations on Oahu and mom chose to go to the one in Honolulu, on Ward Avenue (not the one in Salt Lake area, the Beretania Street store, the Kapolei location, nor Aiea). There was a free parking lot on the corner of Queen Street and Ward Avenue. Inside the fabulously decorated showroom, we were greeted by Andrea. She was kind, efficient, and helpful! She listened to my mom and answered all of my sister's questions promptly. (I texted photos to my sister who lives with mom.) Even though Andrea just started working here three months ago, she was able to navigate the computer system, while knowing the inventory on the floor. She was knowledgeable about the discounts (currently 5 percent off because of the Anniversary Sale), delivery schedule, and fees ($149 including assembly). Andrea was very thoughtful and observant - she offered my mom a seat and moved furniture around for us to look at different angles. Excellent! The transaction flowed so smoothly. I was really impressed! Andrea changed my apprehensions about Ashley HomeStore into a Five-Star Review because of her professionalism, positive attitude, and friendly personality! Mom was thrilled because she will receive her new cabinets the day before Mother's Day! Perfect! Next time I need furniture, I won't hesitate to shop at Ashley HomeStore... And ask for Andrea at the Ward Avenue location! P.S. In regards to price, mom thought that it would cost more! She was pleasantly surprised that the total bill was less than expected!
