The Dr. Pharmacist is one of the nicest and caring people..has treated me very well since I've become a customer / patient. He has assisted me with my insurance company and answered all my questions..working with me and my Dr. For the best possible treatment...you CAN NOT get service like that at a CVS or Walgreens..trust me!! And all the kids who work here are all so sweet. Even a few years ago ( before I was a regular customer ), I got my Covid shoot here ( under protest as a NYC First Responder..facing termination if I didn't comply with vaccination mandates ), they were so understanding and sensitive about my concerns. Medical Centre Pharmacy is a true breath of fresh air - locally owned, a staff that seems to genuinely care, and they helped me out so much. My doctor wanted to put me on a new medication, and gave me enough to last me a month. I fully expected to need to get more samples but Medical Centre Pharmacy worked quickly and diligently to get my medications to me. They were extremely helpful with my questions. The staff is not very…read moreknowledgeable and at times has even lied about whether a prescription is filled. my family member was very upset and was not getting any cooperation from an employee and while she slipped with a swear word which she did not call the employee and apologized immediately, said employee lied and said he was cursed. The pharmacist reaction was to tell me my family member was "mean" ( a word often used by second graders!) and that we could not call to check to see prescriptions were filled and it was the responsibility of the doctor! The sympathetic pharmacist told me my family member could no longer use the pharmacy and told me he can go elsewhere. What an absolute disgrace! I'll somehow find a way for that pharmacy and the pharmacist to have a complaint against licenses.
