I came here for the first time and LOVE the variety at this location. So many clothes in the women section. Super clean store and shelves were stocked. Only issue was there was only on register open for cash and all the self checkout machines are for card only. The register was packed and still no one came to open up another register. read more

Average Target. Certainly not the 'worst' as others claim. While I respect other reviewers' experiences and opinions, whenever I see comments like that I just roll my eyes - trust me, I've been to actual toilet Target locations and in different states to know the difference between a decent Target and a bad one - this one is wonderful compared to some of the garbage locations I've been to. Go to some of them and then say that this one is the 'worst' location - but you won't, because once there, you'll be begging for this Target again. This is an average location - not particularly wonderful, but certainly not terrible. If you frequent Targets enough, you'll know the general layout and stock (with some differences) and it's basically the same here. Some areas needed to be stocked, but it was generally decent and clean. It usually comes down to employees - and while I've seen way worse at other Target locations, most of the ones that I saw here weren't impressive either and maybe 2-3 that I saw probably should be unemployed. There were long lines and very few open registers, so naturally the self checkouts began to accumulate a line, some of which had full carts. As another reviewer stated, self checkouts should be 10 items or less. There should also be an IQ requirement to use self checkouts (but that is everywhere that has them). While I don't expect Target to ever make IQ requirements, at least have more registers open (bigger register space as well) along with making self checkouts become express. There was one employee in the self checkouts and due to the lack of general customer intelligence using self checkouts, he was all over the place but kept his composure. I needed him because for some reason something I scanned wasn't in the system, which was strange on its own. But I can definitely understand what this poor guy was going through. The parking lot is plentiful as far as spots go, but it's poorly designed and I can see it being a headache during a busy time. One of only four Targets in Westchester County currently, so for some I can see how coming here might be a drag, but it's already better than two of them (haven't been to Port Chester in a while) at least - but for upper Westchester residents, this is the only option unless you feel like taking a long drive, go over a bridge, or go to another state. Overall an average Target - far from the 'worst' I've been to. If you go to Targets in general, then you know what to expect here - from terrible employees to the stock and prices. Keep expectations realistic (this IS only Target after all), bring some patience, and you'll be fine. read more

The front end Manager named Christine is very rude and unprofessional. Not sure how she became a manager in customer service with her attitude and with how she treated my girlfriend. A prior visit, she was provided with rain check coupons on 3/16 for an item that was on sale limit 4 and they didn't have any. So when she came back to use the coupons before the expiration clearly marked on the rain check receipts attached, she was rude to her and refused to allow her to use them on 4/26. When asked for them back as proof for corporate she refused to even put them down on the counter and so she had to take pictures of the manager holding them in the air. So when she was called out for her interaction during this visit she said stop lying on her. Is that a response from a manager?! The video cameras will show the story and how she was rude shouting over her shoulder at first and then in person. This photo was taken of her as proof. In fact, she didn't like that her photo was captured and reacted with taking out her phone and stated I have the right to take your photo too. Yeah so! That is what happens in public. Should have stayed on your couch if you didn't want to be on camera in public. Your company records you too! The request was made for the camera footage to be archived by the Security members who showed up to help diffuse the situation. She was heated because the first thing this target employee did when she was called to the register was walk past and snapped at her. Then the attitude came when she returned like my girl was a common criminal trying to cheat her personally out of something and this was all too much. So Target won't accept rain checks, why were they provided!? She asked her who gave them to us. The name is not on it but wouldn't they know the person's name from the register detail footprint on the receipt? Then they could investigate who gave them and hold them accountable, but you should honor it. We called corporate and filed a complaint. They have lost us, our mothers, and my friends as customers. I won't shop somewhere they do not put customers first and where they don't take accountability for their teams actions. If you have had a poor experience at this same store, comment below. They should know how customers feel and they should put her back to stocking shelves and not interacting with people since she has zero management skills with how she handled this situation. That was a savings of $16 roughly on a $182 order. Nope, refused to accept it. Poor customer service support. Keep your $16 and your coffee. We will shop elsewhere!! read more

Worst Target. They don't have pickup options for most products and the inventory is always off. I understand the inventory can never be perfect online but then give me the darn pickup option. Example: You see a product online and it says in stock. You go there, and see nothing then you ask. The typical answer, "We're supposed to have 2 on the floor and 14 in the warehouse. I'm sorry you won't be able to get it today." They are horrible. Go to a better managed Target. This is the closest Target to my house and I go out of my way to go to another Target that's 20 minutes away just so I don't get angry and find things I need. read more

My wife and I were shopping for a car seat for our grandson in the Poughkeepsie NY area, when due to a lack of inventory in our area took us to the Target on N Bedford Road in Mt Kisco NY. We arrived in Mt Kisco unable to find the seat on the shelves, so we went looking for assistance. We started by talking to Kevin, TL and Andy on the floor who found they had a car seat available, not on site but nearby. We were told they could have a car seat available to us in 5-10 minutes. We were instructed to wait at the service desk and to our jubilation, the seat arrived in less than 15 minutes. Once we received the car seat Margot and Sam behind the service desk helped us complete the purchase and were kind, polite and helpful. Worst target I've ever been to. Extremely disorganized and messy, no matter when you go during the week aisles upon aisles are void of stock. The pharmacist yelled at me last week and shamed me for the medicine I'm on *audibly* in front of other customers. I wish I were exaggerating. There's a little loud annoying rodent at self checkout, she tries so hard to be nice to non black patrons. When I tell you that little thing needs serious training it's not funny. This is the absolute worst target EVERRR! The staff there is very rude. I've been in this stores a bunch of times and only remember one staff ever being nice and professional. Shopped here yesterday (at approximately 4pm on a Saturday). There was no one at the front door managing customer entry or mask adherence. The line for pre-order/pick-up was also the same line for all customer service- which had in excess of eight people waiting in (a non-socially distanced) line with one customer service associate behind the register. I saw several people (two were employees, evident by their red shirt & name tags) holding their masks; several children (all aged 6+) and even several adults not wearing masks. Typically I don't shop at this Target because it is usually disorganized and the aisles and displays are sloppy. However I have to give them high kudos for my last trip. I couldn't believe I was actually going to go to a Target. During the holidays. On. Christmas. Eve. DAY. UGH. I was dreading it but putting on a brave front. Okay, parking lot crowded. Expected. Parked further away with no problem. Store. Crowded. Expected. But people were in a good mood!! Target employees were crazy-helpful and smiling, and helping move the check out lines along. Did a little shopping at TARGET in mt Kisco and I prefer my white plains spot but the outdoor parking lot is huge if anyone cares . Picked up a few trinkets like a pair if casual skeechers for 40 bucks , cargo pants for 20 bucks , a few bags of socks, personal items and some snacks for a cost of 145 bucks and no one is here at 1pm on a Wednesday afternoon so no waiting on them long lines like the white plains location . Men's clothing area was a bit messy and selection is not the greatest but you can find almost anything you need at target and the grocery selection ain't that bad as the organic dozen eggs are cheaper then most supermarkets. Target in mt Kisco is overall ok and did I mention the giant outdoor parking lot. read more

Self check out registers should only be for 10 items or less. Everyone with less then 10 items who were waiting for self checkout were held up because people with full carts are using them. They should be using regular checkout to keep lines moving. read more

I had a pretty disappointing experience here. I was looking for some patio furniture online, and it said that it was in stock here (wasn't in stock at my closest Target.) So, I drove over there to check. I looked around for a while, but the state of the outdoors section was kind of in a shambles. I asked an employee if they had these items in stock, showing him my phone, and he said, "eh, probably not, but you could try ordering them online." I later found out that they were in store only. Target mt Kisco customer service and staff absolutely horrible!!! Trash !! Minus a few very few nice ones. Lost my purse and couldn't find it so before someone walk out of the store with it I ran to security! Well they told me we can't look for people leaving the store with ur purse. So I ask if someone could help me look and alert the staff it's lost maybe in their department. Well let me tell u no one helped!! No one not one single staff member helped me look for my purse!!! and that security guard Mark has a serious attitude problem. I was with my 14 yo daughter who was so terrified that I lost it and there was no help. Not one staff member from that store helped me look for my bag!! Even though I ran around like a nut begging for help. Thank goodness I found my bag on my own. The staff and the security team gaze zero shits about my problem!!!!!! When I finally got my bag and went to the front I told him thanks a lot for ur help!!! In a sarcastic tone and he said watch ur mouth I will throw u out of the store!!!!! Mark drop dead asshole!! This Target store, which opened in 2005, is much like the other Targets you'll find in any American suburb and city, with the exception of the abnormally high amounts of suburban cougar--milfs prowling the aisles looking for bargains. I mean, every time I go in, there's tons of them there: dressed way too nice/stylish for just shopping for cleaning supplies, no children, men or wedding rings in tow, quick to give you a lingering "come hither" look. Bored Westchester trophy-housewives, looking for their next thrill? Possibly. The store itself is nice, fairly clean and always well stocked with low priced items for all aspects of your life. I once enjoyed shopping here as it was a one stop shop to get everything I needed. Now the racks and shelves are a mess and not stocked. The baby food aisle had bare shelves. Most of the baby cups, bowls, and utensils had been opened and tossed about. Nothing was organized or where it was supposed to be. There was empty packages all over the floor. Today target in my kisco had the A-team on duty. The store was pretty busy and the front staff kept the checkout line moving at a rapid pace. Having an expediter at the front of the store is not a new idea but is rarely excited with noticable results. Is it just me or is it impossible to make it out of this place without spending at least $100? Overall it is a genius idea. One store that basically has something for everyone. I swear, I could probably shop her with my four-year-old niece and my 89-year-old grandma and they would both have overflowing carts when we hit the registers. Talk about one stop shopping... On any given day you could find an outfit, buy some diapers, go grocery shopping (minus produce), pick up a patio set, grab some personal hygiene items, and buy a birthday gift for your sons best friend. This place really does have it all. The layout flows nicely and the aisles are normally neatly organized. The staff is helpful if you can find someone. The price overall is fair. For the most part most items are competitively priced. Definitely stop by if you have some time. Just be prepared to take out at least one Benjamin Franklin bill! read more

I was on my way out from the self serve check out line. Putting my cart back as I witnessed something more than displeasing. The woman, head of HR for this Target location was aggressively speaking to a man. Whether he was a customer or an employee this was just wrong. All I could hear was him asking for information to speak to the general manager, and the HR woman (average height, petite, African american) refusing to give the man the information. He proceeded to say that she and target are "unprofessional", and I couldn't agree more. She began flailing her arms at him as she spoke. Then did her hair flip and stomped away, to what seemed premature as the conversation did not look over. I saw the man in the parking lot, and what is the biggest shame for this entire scenario....this man was walking to his car parked in a handicap spot. Pulled out his dog tags, and you read semper fidelis on his forearms. Not once did he play the disabled veteran card in his conversation with the Target HR woman. How dare she speak to someone like that, and nonetheless a veteran. Target needs to start doing a better job of hiring. They have lost my respect and my business. read more

after a long shopping day i was dying for a starbucks. i went over to the counter and i was greeted by an incredibly rude staff. for some reason they were laughing behind the counter after every drink order i gave them. i then waited for my drink and the man behind the counter didn't even speak loud enough for me to hear what he said. he also said the drink wrong and the lady who took my order shouted that "it's your drink" and gave me a dirty look. i tried calling this target to let management know but couldn't even reach them... i won't be going back to that starbucks ever again. read more

This location looked like it was looted during a riot. Completely bare shelves, and what little stock remained was haphazardly tossed on the ground or in the wrong place. We went through the self checkout with a 6-pack of beer, which was automatically flagged for an ID check. With a long line of people waiting, a Target employee finally sauntered over 10 minutes later, wordlessly punched in a code without checking ID, and walked away. What a joke. read more

Worst customer service ever!!!!!!! I ordered some items online and the shipper lost them. I ordered them because I needed them right away and it took a week to tell me that I would not be receiving them. They asked me to pay to have the order resent to me, which I did. They promised me a refund. They only refunded me for some of the items and refused to refund me the remainder of the items until I sent them back. However, I never received them in the first place.So not only did I have to wait three weeks for some thing I ordered and wanted right away, now they will not refund the money for what I purchased. I have emailed them , I have called them twice on the phone and I answered a customer survey and still no refund. They acknowledged to me when I was on the phone with them that they still have not processed the payment to me because of computer or technical issues or some other reason they keep giving me, and knowing that it is their error, they still will not give me my money back read more

The staff here is just god awful. That aside its a decent store though its often messy and rarely restocked. Their pharmacy is wonderful, as is their staff. Starbucks is usually pretty good and has shorter lines than the location on S Moger Ave. Overall if you need to do shopping for pretty much anything, it can be found here at a decent price, just not as cheap as Wal-Mart read more

Target has completely reorganized the whole store, with a whole new grocery section. I didn't have time to really check it out, but it seemed extensive, and I'll try shopping there to compare prices. Just wanted to say that I ran in there to buy a little battery for my garage door opener and the clerk was great--going off to find the right battery and then presenting it to me with a smile. The check out was fast and smooth. This store usually has what I'm looking for, which is great to have in the neighborhood. read more
