Who doesn't love ice cream...especially when it's from a homemade ice cream place? Bedford Farms is my favorite place in this area. Their ice cream is full of flavor and the texture is so smooth. The ice cream flavors with candies/chocolates are packed into the cone, they don't skimp. I have had a lot of their flavors. Whatever flavor it is, Bedford Farms' does it well. I love that they give you cones with your take home containers of ice cream, which are topped past the container that the lids can't fit. On super hot days, I'll stop in for a soft serve cone. They're super cold and perfect for a brain freeze. Parking is a small lot right in front of the store and there's plenty of street parking.

Bedford Farms is a Concord favorite. There's a larger stand over in Bedford (cause after all it's not Concord Farms). The ice cream is very good, but the space is mostly parking lot and train tracks. There's only a couple of seats inside. I like their Oreo and Green Monster. They also make a good frappe. Update - the seasonal flavor peach is out of this world!

Large Milkway

Came here based on locals recommendation. What is there to say ... they have a lot of ice cream and yogurt, and some interesting mixes. I paid around $35 for our party of eight that got 2 kids, 5 smalls and 2 larges. Seems reasonable. Service was fast. They handled our order and many more coming in quickly. There is a lot of inside and outside seating. I got a large Milkyway. It was good. Very good. I did like the extra caramel syrup mixed in. Spectacular, OMG, I want to come back for this? Not really, but maybe there are other worthy flavors. If this was my neighborhood I could see being a regular. Four stars for being overall very good with great service.

I grew up eating Bedford farms and it is a staple in the area. I got a small strawberry in a cup and it was HUGE in my opinion. My two friends also got small and one of them couldn't even finish it because it was too big. In the future I think I'm gonna get the kid size which I believe in smaller than the small. The ice cream is fresh and delicious and I loved the strawberry because it is not overwhelming sweet and more refreshing

Solid. Some interesting flavors and healthy portions at decent prices. Although the large came in a solo cup thing, which was kinda weird.

$12 for 2 small soft serve cones is a little steep. If it was premium hard ice cream I could see it.

I found the price reasonable, roughly 10 dollars for a sundae. The apple cider donut sundae was great, it was super creamy and sweet, with caramel on the bottom. Delicious! I ended up saving the rest for later in the freezer and my boyfriend loved it. There is some outdoor seating around the ice cream area.

So many locals rave about it,…read moreand based on the overall ratings, I went in expecting something special, but it was a huge disappointment. For a place that prices their ice cream like it's small-batch, gourmet quality, the product just doesn't deliver. The texture, flavor, and overall taste were extremely underwhelming and honestly no better than what you would get at a typical chain ice cream shop. Nothing stood out, nothing felt premium, and nothing justified the cost. Speaking of price, nearly $9 for three tiny scoops feels excessive, especially given the quality. It felt like a complete waste of both money and calories. I would much rather grab a pint of Ben & Jerry's for less than half the price and enjoy it ten times more. Maybe this place was great at some point in the past, but based on my experience, it doesn't live up to its reputation anymore. Definitely not worth going out of your way for.

I visited Verrill Farm for the first time on August 20, 2026…read more Unfortunately, an incident outside the market and the staff's response left me extremely disappointed. At approximately 1:00 p.m., I was outside waiting for my friend while she finished making her purchases. As she walked out of the store, she tripped over a bike rack positioned along the walkway. She fell hard, injuring and bloodying her knee and scraping her hands. She was visibly shaken, and the pie she had just purchased was destroyed in the fall. I went inside to tell an employee what had happened and to ask whether the pie could be replaced. While I was speaking with the employee, my friend came inside, limping. My friend asked whether the employee had heard what had happened. Rather than expressing concern or asking whether she was okay, the employee's reaction struck both of us as surprisingly dismissive. My friend then asked whether she could have some ice for her injured knee. The employee said no and walked away. Because I was surprised by that response, I asked another employee who was stocking muffins whether he could get some ice for my friend because, I explained, she had just fallen and injured herself. He also indicated that he could not. The first employee later returned and explained that there were no more pies available, and my friend was refunded for the pie. What happened next was the strangest part of the experience. As we were leaving, the employee came after us and quietly told my friend that she would get her some ice if she promised not to tell anyone. My friend accepted the ice. I cannot explain why providing ice to an injured customer apparently needed to be done discreetly. What bothered me most was not simply that my friend fell. Accidents happen. It was the response afterward. A customer was bleeding, shaken, and asking for something as basic as ice. I would have expected someone to ask whether she was all right and to offer reasonable assistance. Instead, the response we experienced initially felt defensive and indifferent. The pie was refunded, which I appreciate. But the overall interaction left such a negative impression that I do not intend to return.
