It's come to fruition w/ approximately 25 vendors-- most local. Individual arts & craft entrepreneurs rent space here. Their merchandise includes the following, although the list is far from complete: soaps; candles; bath salts; jewelry; handbags; wall art; sculptures; paintings; prints; metal & industrial art & lamps; lighted shadow boxes; wooden bowls & vases; glass art; baby & adult clothing; chocolate gifts; Pampered Chef products; fashion accessories; & so much more! Take a look @ the PICS! With ever-changing merchandise, you'll want to stop in on a regular basis. There are NO CASH REFUNDS offered, so buy carefully. Exchanges w/ the original vendor are possible. I left w/ a fun coaster for a female friend, as well as whimsical Pop Art earrings for me. Prices here were lower than what I expected from this type of shoppe, especially one w/ mall overhead. Staffer Pam was very friendly & helpful. She informed me that art classes are available. Anyone interested can find the monthly schedule thru the shoppe's Facebook page OR stop in to pick up a paper version. All registrants must pay for the class in the shoppe. Phone for more information. An example of a past class: a Sunday 1 PM to 5 PM Fused Glass class for $35; attendees could create a pendant or earrings. The shoppe was very clean, spacious, & well-organized. All the merchandise was priced. Proprietor Wendy is always looking for additional skilled artisans to peddle their creative wares here. I plan to check in every month to see what's been added to the mix. It's a twofer for me-- I get to support talented local artisans as well as a local business owner who offers quality merchandise. I really like this store as I'm always looking for unique things to purchase whether it's for myself or for others. The inventory is not as good as this location either. When I was here last time they signed me up for the rewards program where they send you discounts on your Birthday & some holidays etc., Anyhoo, it was recently moi birthday & they sent me a 15% off discount for moi Birthday! yay!!! :)) Last time I was here I got so many cool things for moi new home. I keep getting lots of compliments on everything I have purchased here. When I was here last, I saw a pot i liked a lot, but I thought it was way too small for the price. I came back to get some other things & a second Bee rug & saw the pot was still here so I got it this time. I was able to use moi 15% Birthday discount so it was a much better value. Market Elaine only happens first Friday of every month from 5 pm to 9 pm. I actually like the vendors shop. They are many specialty. It include bake good, coffees stand, clothing, accessories, jewelry, dog food, pet store, arts, candles, candy, plants, and more. The market occupies Wesley Grove Blvd. and Coconut Palm Lane. Parking is easy that surrounded the compound. I like to go to Double Branch Brewery and get a go cup beer and walk around the vendors shop.
