Home Goods still packs a punch…read more Just walk in and walk around. Something is guaranteed to catch your eye. You might buy something you didn't need... Or maybe you'll find something you do need. Decor, kitchen goods, pet supplies, small furnishings, cooking supplies, bath stuff, gift ideas...and more. It's just a great place to browse. Prices vary, but I did notice a lot of clearance sections during my last visit. You'll surely score something to take home. The location is also great. Big shopping center, plenty of parking and even manageable on weekends. The line funnels everyone into a single line with next customer called to a register when free. While standing around on line, you can browse more stuff you stock on both sides of the line.

This was one of the worst customer service experiences I've had…read more My husband and I came into the store for a large paint project involving three bathrooms. We had already been speaking with an associate for about five minutes, and I had already chosen my paint colors--Lace White and Caviar Black. We were well into placing our order when another customer walked in and stood behind us. Instead of finishing helping us, the associate immediately turned her attention to him and asked, "What can I help you with?" She spent the next 15-20 minutes discussing his project, asking about paint colors and finishes, mixing his paint, and even carrying on a conversation about his patio--all while my husband and I stood there waiting as if we didn't exist. Finally, I had to interrupt and ask, "Aren't we first in line?" Instead of a genuine apology, all I got was an awkward "Oh..." There was no acknowledgment of how long we had been waiting or that we had been completely overlooked. It honestly left me wondering why we were treated this way. Was it because we're a gay couple? I truly hope not, but I can't understand why we were ignored while another customer who arrived after us received the associate's full attention. Our project was substantial--we were purchasing paint for three bathrooms--and I had already selected the colors and was ready to complete my order. No customer should ever be made to feel invisible or treated as though they don't matter. This experience was unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I hope management reviews what happened and ensures that every customer is treated fairly and with the same level of respect.

From the moment I walked in, I was blown away by the variety of high quality home decor items including vanities, mirrors, sculptures, and so much more. It was almost overwhelming, but the staff was incredibly knowledgeable and quickly understood my vision (thanks Bill!). My overall experience was delightful from start to finish. Who knew a beautiful establishment like this existed on Rt 59?! I cannot recommend Lites Plus higher and plans to return frequently!

Wallauer Paint & Hardware saved me a few dollars…read more I needed salt pellets for my home's water softener, and wow... the price of these bags has gone up considerably over the last year. After shopping around, I found this Ace Hardware was actually a bit cheaper than the big-box home improvement stores. Ordering online was easy (and don't forget to go through your favorite cash-back website before checking out...). My order was ready for in-store pickup a few days later. Pickup couldn't have been easier. They even offered to help carry everything out to my car, but carrying ten 40-pound bags is lovely exercise... so I declined. The store is easy to get to, just off Route 59, with a convenient parking lot and quick access in and out. It's branded as Wallauer Paint & Hardware, but it's also an Ace Hardware location. In addition to the usual hardware selection, they carry a full line of Benjamin Moore paints. Smooth experience, competitive prices, and friendly service. I'll definitely check here the next time I need supplies.

Home Depot scores high when it comes to selection, variety for your home, and competitive prices…read more However, the overall experience here is kinda... meh. Not much has evolved at this store over the last 20+ years. When you walk in, they still have a single counter dedicated to customer service, returns, and order pickups. Yeah... imagine the line and how slowly it moves. They do have lockers for picking up smaller online orders, although I've never used them. Curbside pickup is available too if you'd rather not go inside. One of Home Depot's biggest strengths is the garden center. Compared to many local nurseries, the prices are almost always better. You can even order trees online with free shipping. I've done that several times, and what arrives has always been healthy and usually large enough to meet expectations. Outside, you'll find a large selection of trees and shrubs, and there's a huge parking lot, so getting in and out is easy. Staff members are usually helpful when you need them. If I had to point to one thing this store should improve, it's that all-in-one customer service counter. Ugh. Separate returns from pickups already!
