Remodeling 3 bathrooms and purchased 3 different wallpapers at a good price on line during Black Friday sales. Product delayed by company but could not be cancelled. 2 of the 3 wallpapers arrived. The design on both was lovely but the quality of one was very light weight to the point of fragile and would not be not washable as described. Tried to return but restocking and shipping charges make it untenable. Would not do an on line purchase again with Bed Bath & Beyond. read more

I have found several items on the Bed Bath & Beyond website that I would like to order for my new condo. However, the company's delivery procedures are not clearly stated anywhere on the website. Since I live in a multi-story building with an electronic security lock on the front door, I am reluctant to order anything for delivery unless I know that my package will be left in the secure lobby. I have tried many times to contact the BB&B "Customer Service" number, but have never been able to get through. I requested a call-back when an agent became available, but, after waiting nearly 3 hours, I was apparently hung up on when I answered the call. I don't think I will waste any more of my time trying to order from this company again. read more

I ordered a table and chairs for my deck. I was advised that the delivery date was July 14 thru an email.The table didn't arrive and I contacted the customer service.Wait time was 400 minutes. After several days I was able to talk to a customer service representative they advised they were unable to confirm delivery date. on July 22 table arrived with no notification of delivery date from Bed Bath and Beyond. I contacted Bed Bath and Beyond re set up of my table which I paid $150 for They advised me to contact Angie's list. I after a two hour hold time was told there was no scheduled set up of my table. I asked to speak to a supervisor re scheduling set up or cancel. Angie's list hung up on me and terminated the call. I contacted my credit card company re cancel $150 charge due to no service provided My credit card company advised Bed Bath and Beyond charged me one full amount so that the set up charge was not listed and they could not credit me seperatley for set up fee. DO NOT ORDER FROM BED BATH AND BEYOND as they are only online and their customer service is horrible read more

Great place for home goods and variety of most household items too. This was my first time visiting this location and it was perfect for buying our kitchen needs. The Staff was friendly when I asked for directions on where to find certain items and super courteous and helpful at checkout. There was a little to no line on a weekend and I can't say the same for their neighboring stores. I'd recommend taking advantage of their online coupons as a member or signing up for email coupons if you're looking to save on spending as it can add up quickly! read more

I have no complaints with the store's cleanliness or availability of items (both are great), but the customer service is extremely lacking, especially between 12:00 and 2:00 p.m. (which should be expected to be a slightly busier time when people are on their lunch breaks). I went to pick up an item that I had ordered online for the purpose of having an efficient and speedy checkout. Instead, the customer service line was nearly out the front door while multiple checkout cashiers had no one in line... The same customer service attendant was also picking up phone calls while finding people their pickup orders and processing return items. What should've been a 5-10 minute wait became 20+ minutes. I'm not sure if this means I should avoid placing pickup orders in the future, but the customer service left a bad taste in my mouth. read more

I called with a question before driving there "can you return a item with receipt, but do not have card paid with on you?" I was told yes. Went in with item and receipt to return. Item was fully paid for on a debit card. Cashier asked me if I wanted cash or store credit back. I said back on the card I paid with. Then had the manager come over who was rude. Cashier said "for some reason it is not showing up to go back on card". I held up the receipt multiple times to show paid with on debit card fully. Cashier even repeated again you don't have to enter the chip into the card reader and usually the debit card option should come up for a refund. Should have gotten the money back on my card not cash. Communication was poor. Was told 1 thing on the phone and was different in person. Manager was rude. Why was I told on the phone I didn't need the card paid with fully in person, but yet I couldn't get the money back on the cards Also, a few days prior making a purchase a cashier told me they couldn't take the sensors off so I could feel the comforters. Another cashier willingly took off all the sensors so I could touch the comforters before purchasing. read more

This store is getting one star for location. It should be getting no stars, because finding it is impossible. How can a place that doesn't appear to exist get any stars? I spent at least 45 minutes driving in the rain, my bladder about to explode, roundabout after roundabout, Dunkin Donuts after Dunkin Donuts, LOST. Here are the store clerk's directions from Harvard Square: "Get on Storrow drive, get off at Sullivan Square, it's on the right." WTF?? I realize that the greater Boston area does not have signage because signage would mean that newcomers could find their way around, and that would be bad... but store clerks should give better directions. Here are the directions I got from a truck driver who found me tearful in a random Dunkin Donuts somewhere in Somerville, MA: "Go out of this parking lot and turn left. Straight ahead to the roundabout. Go three-quarters of the way around, get out of the roundabout right before the lot of parked cars. Stay to the right. Go through some blinking lights, you'll see a Home Depot on your right. Stay to the right. Make a HARD RIGHT TURN right after the Home Depot. A HARD RIGHT TURN. Then go straight ahead and you'll see a Dunkin Donuts on your left. Continue on this road until you come to the shopping mall where Bed Bath and Beyond is located. Good luck." Notice there are no street names involved. But at least the guy gave me some landmarks. I started laughing hysterically when he said I'd see a Dunkin Donuts on the left. I mean, come on, this is Massachusetts. I wouldn't be in this state if I didn't see a Dunkin Donuts on the left. Now, aside from the poor location, I found all the housewares I needed at Bed Bath & Beyond for my move. I recommend the one in El Cerrito, CA though. It's on the right side of San Pablo. From I-80 exit University Avenue. Left on San Pablo, continue until you reach the shopping mall. How easy is that? Pie. read more

This store is right around the corner from my house. I get offers in the mail from them all the time. I rarely shop here. Everything seems really expensive - and while that may just be the way things go with home decorating/appliances... It just seems TOO expensive. At least for right now, and for me. I have come in here for last resort type items that I could not find anywhere else. I spent a great deal of time talking to a few of the employees on the phone the last time before I went in to purchase some attachments for my KitchenAid mixer. They did tell me that they might not be the most economical choice, but they did have my item in stock and could save it for me if I liked. They gave me a few other options, such as ordering it on-line and getting some kind of discount for it being the first time I ordered from there, ecc. I opted to get my hot little hands on the pasta attachment that evening. An hour later, there were fresh ravioli on the table. Satisfied, hells yeah! I want to get the rugs they carry here. I also want to buy some drapes that they sell here - the kind that blocks out noise, light and THE COLD! But, I really can't see dropping that kind of money on curtains... Not this winter, nope! Maybe next year, I'll get a raise and be able to buy all the things I drool over at this store? Maybe, just maybe! I like this location better than the Watertown one that I've been to (that no longer exists... right?) it seems to be better organized, from the entrance, all the way around to the front of the store, and then that is where shit seems to get crazy --- who is the cashier, why is the long desk looking thing there? is that the customer service desk? Why is the lady waving me over there if it's customer ser--- oh, you are a cashier?! Oh, why does your register look different from the other ones?" Usually there are a bunch of people standing around looking for a place to hand over money, and a bunch of employees chatting with each other by the exit. They are good for one stop shopping. It's also right next to Christmas Tree Shop which makes it convenient to get good steals. They are also good about returns. We tried some air mattresses and they didn't quite work out. No hassles! Pretty big store with no crowds! The staff was also very nice. It's fun to browse. Parking was a piece of cake. I placed an order and was told delivery would probably be on Sat. That turned into Sun, then Mon, then Tues, then Wed. Why was pkg sitting in Northboro Ma since last Sat? They really shouldn't tell people to expect deliveries then consistently not deliver. The chat line was a joke , I spent over 1 hour, and got nowhere. Why am I writing a review on Bed, Bath, and Beyond? I think the better question is why there are two of them so close to each other, when the rest of them in Greater Boston are pretty spread out. However, having two this close together actually came in handy. I knew that BBB has an amazing return policy, and then I read online that others were having problems with peeling Calphalon pans...and that they had returned them years later. I took my pans into this store, no receipt of course (it's 5 years after I bought them), and they told me it was no problem. The store only loses one star because I wanted to exchange for All-Clad pans, and this store had almost none. The other reason it loses one star is that some of the people at Customer Service seemed confused. They kept on bringing up the wrong kind of pan, even though I had brought one to the desk. I also showed it to them on their own website, and just the whole process of finding the prices was way too long, and the people were getting frustrated because they kept on bringing up the wrong prices. Other than that, a great experience, and then I hopped over to Everett to get the other pan I wanted. read more

Clean. Lots of parking. Great with returns. We started a bridal registry online and decided to finish it in the store. We live up the street and we were just going to 'run in and scan a few things.' However, an hour later...we didn't feel pressure from the salesman, but he was VERY helpful. Made a lot of good points about getting things we may not need now, but don't want to buy ourselves in the future. We were there for 2 hours, the salesman gave us bottled waters and offered us a basket of snack packs! Unreal! He even told us to leave when we feel tired and come back another day; we had plenty of time and it's better for it not to be a miserable experience. Great experience. read more

Return policy was not posted at the register and was not explained at checkout. Management did nothing to rectify the mistake and blamed store policy. This BB&B was very similar to all the other BB&B stores that we have visited in the past. There was a wide variety of items but the aisles were cramped. Fortunately, everything was laid out the same across stores so it was easy to find what we were looking for. read more

I find them expensive for what they carry, the employees are up your a$$ from the minute you walk in until the minute you leave, and they have a severe lack of english speaking employees. I had a great experience in this store recently. I needed new pillows and had only a few minutes to run in and find them. I was only in the store for 10 minutes and every single sales associate that passed me or saw me asked me if I needed help. Everyone was exceptionally pleasant.
