I came across MC, Moroccan Caravan, for the first time when I tried to call the Moroccan consulate to get some information about traveling to Morocco. The consulate never answered my calls, so I did a google search and found moroccancaravan.com. The owner of the business, Addi, impressed me with his extensive knowledge of Morocco. I went by his shop to talk in detail over a cup of mint tea. As I entered the shop I felt that I already arrived in Morocco, Addi welcomed me warmly and I was stunned by all the stuff he has there, especially the Berber rugs and henna lamps. He helped me plan my trip to Morocco, and my trip went extremely well thanks to him. Rather than carry heavy souvenirs, such as carpets, lamps and other back from Morocco, I bought them from Addi instead. He gave me a very good deal and saved the hassle of bringing it all the way from Morocco and risk damaging or loosing them . I also went back to get some more souvenirs, since I always end up forgetting someone. Moroccan Caravan is also an ideal place to get Christmas and or other holidays presents. Addi really helped me decorate my living room. I totally recommend MC. Addi is a genuine Amazigh (Berber), hospitable and friendly. What a beautiful, amazing country with great people in harmony. Morocco has attracted me so much, more than you can imagine. About a half year ago, I joined a tour to Morocco that the owner of Moroccan Caravan, Addi organized. Honestly, I had never had a wonderful tour guide like Addi before I travelled somewhere else. Addi is an amazingly knowledgeable, kind, and friendly guy. He took us to so many both major and minor places so that we could get to know more about Morocco. Now I have the BEST memories from Morocco!! :) Especially, the beautiful night sky in the Sahara was just gorgeous. I'd definitely love to visit Morocco again, and I will for sure. My experience with Moroccan Caravan and proprietor Addi epitomizes great customer service. I needed a genuine Moroccan outfit for a weekend special dinner with friends. After doing an internet search and finding just what I wanted I called Addi to make sure I could get the items overnighted. He graciously made suggestions about size, fit and appropriateness of the items, had me transmit the order over the internet as we chatted on the phone so as to not make any mistakes in the shipping address, and confirmed the delivery via email. I love this shop. Moroccan Caravan is a large shop located inside the Olive Square Studio Building on Washington St. near Union Square. The colors grab you when you first walk in - everything is deep orange and red - I love the earth tones of Morocco. Also, the owner is amazingly nice. When you walk in its like being in the market of Morocco. The carpets, painted tables, and lamps are gorgeous. There is also some unique handmade silver jewelry for sale and some gorgeous Moroccan clothing. I bought a lamp hand painted with henna decorations and some cool silver earrings. I plan to return soon to buy a handwoven pillow. If you have ever been to Morocco or would like to visit Morocco without leaving Boston, this is the place for you. read more

A great find with great service. I had been searching the Internet for a pair of very large pierced metal Moroccan lanterns and came upon Addi's website. I was pleasantly surprised to find out that his store is just outside of Boston, about a 45 minute drive from my home on the North Shore. The lanterns are beautiful!
