I returned an item because it didn't fit. Tracking shows they received the merchandise weeks ago but still no credit for the return. I have submitted a dispute with Discover but they are about as inept as BB&B. I wouldn't dare order from this company again. If you have to return it, chances are good you will just be giving them their product back and getting nothing in return. I am seeing a lot of complaints about them doing others the same way. I'm giving them a one because the product is good. I eventually reached a couple of men that said they'd carry the boxes to my apartment and assemble my futon. I am very dissatisfied with the customer service and computer system. I ordered online. That was fine. The delivery date changed a couple of times but each was earlier than the last. I sent an email that I didn't get a response to. I called customer service and the wait was over 30 minutes. It said if I didn't want to wait, I could text them. The text offered 3 options. None of them addressed my issues. So was this helpful - no. A virtual text wasn't much better. I couldn't find any way at all to talk to a person. The directions on the website didn't work. I got a "this site isn't found." Another dead end. I continued to try to get through. The wait time was over 70 minutes and then one was over 100 minutes. Texting didn't work. The next day was much of the same. All I wanted to do is make sure they saw my delivery instructions. I was unsuccessful. Eventually it was delivered but the person didn't text me until he was done so he put it in the wrong place. The text only brought more frustration. It said they delivered it and couldn't do anything else. Suggested I ask for help from the neighbor. I live in senior apartments. The weight of the boxes was at least 225 lbs. At this point I tried to cancel my order. It was in 3 parts but I couldn't cancel what I hadn't received. Here's what should have happened. 1. Respond to an email 2. Improve timeliness on the phone. 3. Have texting a personal response 4. Delivery driver should have contacted me when he got here. I was waiting in my apartment where it was supposed to be delivered to. I sent an email to the company and will wait to see if anyone responds to it. read more

At this point BB&B has basically stolen from me. I ordered two chandeliers. They sent me two chandeliers, but not the ones that I ordered. I attempted to work with them online, but was clearly speaking to a bot with a pre-scripted loop. I called customer service, and recieved a rep in the Phillipines who was not able to understand what I was trying to tell her. She kept trying to 'replace the cracked part'. I eventually was transferred to a manager, who stated that I needed to return the incorrect items prior to refunding or exchanging. They sent me a UPS label, and I returned the item. At this point the tracking report shows that the item was received by BB&B 5 weeks ago. They will not refund me my money because the item is 'not what I ordered'. This is hell. They owe me $350 and all employees can do is repeat that they are sorry, but..... Totally useless. I will never buy from BB&B again, and I will be vocal with everyone I know about not purchasing from them. The only other time I had such terrible customer service was from Camping World, when they broke my RV during a minor repair, and it took 18 months to get the issue resolved. They will not refund my purchase even though one of the packages is unopened due to my being a couple of days late past their 30 day return policy even though I did not know about the policy. I tried to return the packages two weeks before calling them but had forgotten they went out of business and had no physical store to return the packages too. If I had know they were such a dishonorable company who has no compassion for their customers I would never have ordered from them. And, will never order from them. Store has been newly renovated and it's quite nice -- very airy with lots of light, reminiscent of a TJ Maxx or HomeGoods. The staff continue to be friendly and proactive, store is clean and easy to navigate, and it's never crazy busy, thankfully. read more

warning, please do noy buy any mattresses for bed bath and beyond. mattresses are not as advertised and there are no returns. i have been trying to get my money back for two month and they are not willing to compensate or work with their customers at all if they are unhappy with any purhases. false advertising, no returns. many others have experienced the same. i'm still trying to get my money back through my paypal and it has been the most stressful painstaking upsseting experince this year. read more

Things I like: + Large selection that is well-stocked + Some great sale and clearance items + Errand-friendly location between Target and Pick n Save + Not hard to find 20% off coupons + Easy process for shipping gifts on registries Things I don't like: - Claustrophobic setup - Long lines - I don't think I've ever seen more than two checkouts open, even when lines weave back into the aisles Overall the shopping experience is just a shade under pleasant. I wouldn't not go, but I also only make a stop when I need something specific. While Bed Bath & Beyond stocks a vast array of home products, I'm not a fan of the narrow aisles of densely packed items. Also frustrating are the waits to check out, there never seems to be enough registers open at this store. Prices are on par with other area retailers and it's never hard to find a coupon. Just make sure to read the fine print to determine if the product you plan to buy is eligible for the discount. read more

This place is pretty darn big, as it is...yet packs even more into the space....the clown car of home decor, kitchen ware, and bath goods? Honestly, it is dangerous for the bank account....I only try to go when I have a list...and then force myself to stick to it... There is ALWAYS something cool to buy here! Bathroom mirrors? Check, done that....cook ware, yep...awesome bamboo cutting boards? Yep. My only real complaints are, first sometimes it can be hard to find help. Second...the aisles are pretty crowded and narrow....it's very easy to smash things with your cart. hint: Don't bring kids here people. No, don't get me wrong, I have kids of my own and adore children. But here? really? This, along with Blain's Farm & Fleet, is the adult version of toys-r-us. The three people that I had contact with in this store were amazing . I had to stop at customer service for a wedding registration list and the girl was very pleasant and helpful, then looking for an item the girl on the sales floor went out of her way to help,and the cashier was again very helpful and pleasant . In a world where customer service is at the lowest concern for anyone including people who control and manage this . I have got to hand it to this store because for once I actually left a store with a good feeling. Way to go now if they could get this to catch on read more

This is not the world's greatest Bed, Bath, and Beyond. Pretty average compared to the half a dozen others I've been to around the country -- size, selection, courteousness of the staff, etc. There appeared to be just one person stocking the shelves. She was friendly and knowledgeable but seemed overworked. The check-out staff was really bad. I came up and put my basket on the counter. She just looked at me and after a moment said snarkily, "Oh, well I guess I could take this stuff out of the basket FOR you". WTF? That's her job. If you don't want to take other people's items out of their baskets and run them over the scanner, don't work at a place like Bed, Bath, and Beyond. At that visit I bought a couple of oven mitts, a small handheld grater, a combo salt and pepper grinder, and some nail care items. We had been looking for a salt and pepper grinder for awhile and bought the Kamenstein one after seeing it in action at a friend's dinner party. When I got home and opened it up, the cover over the pepper end immediately came off (insufficient glue). Everything else looks alright, but it just tops off a mediocre BB&B experience. I'm not writing off all these stores, just the Junction Rd one. It's okay in a pinch but I will happily drive across town for a better experience if I have the choice. read more

Some of the best customer service I have had in a long time. They just remodeled the inside of the store and it is much more inviting. I came in to buy my friend something off her wedding registry. Was quickly asked if I needed any help and they printed off the registry for me and helped me find the things on the registry. I was only in the store for ~15 minutes and was asked if I needed help finding anything 4 times by 4 different people. Not only were the employees eager to help, but they actually knew where the items were. When I checked out the lady also helped me box up my gifts. Very pleasant and helpful employees in a new inviting store. read more
