I went back to her and nicely explained that I couldn't find another one She snapped, "Well, it wasn't broken when your daughter bought it!" I said, " No, but It was broken when she got home. She figured that it wasn't wrapped well." She then yelled, "We don't even have to wrap them! We just do that to be nice." A nice young man came up then and said he was putting in another piece of glass in. She stomped off. I waited for her to return because I was very angry by this time and I wanted to tell her what poor customer service skills she had, but the young man returned and he was very pleasant. Eventually someone got back to me and scheduled service. I have a rather limited schedule but it still took them until NOVEMBER to get my sofa. They were around 5+ hours late on a Saturday to pick it up. Two weeks later I was told it would be 20+ weeks to get the parts to fix!! They have known the issue for 7 months already!!! Their solution is to give us store credit to reselect furniture, no discount, no compensation for the hours we waited on a Saturday, no concessions for the months of waiting. They will admit that they "have not been without fault" in all this, so I've got that going for me... Ashley Furniture is THE WORST!
