And now, everytime I'm in my kitchen, I'm reminded of how Floor to Ceiling never achieved my design vision. Too many changes made on the job, most unnecessary. (especially fixing an unsatisfactory installation error for "free", and adding that cost to another area of the budget.) I'm not going to list all the issues I encountered--but buyer beware. After paying a pretty penny, when all is done, you have to live with it. Look around. A company is as good as who they contract the components out to.

Well they sent out 4 contractors to appraise labor costs. Total cost was about 15,000. They were so unimaginative. Didn't even have design software to assist in the visual representation. Found some one else in Sycamore at almost half the cost. Project is complete and we're very happy. We will never go back to the extremely expensive Floor to Ceiling.

Unfortunately our experience was the opposite. There were problems with our countertops that were not owned and resolved and some unnecessary cabinet parts that Kramer ordered, which added cost to us. The first issue was some very twisty plumbing under our kitchen sink. They came out in a couple days (it was not an emergency) and simplified everything, plus gave us some helpful suggestions. Very efficient trip, and very fair price. This week, I called on Tuesday, and got an appointment for Thursday over my lunch break to have them look at our outside spigot. Water would shoot out of the handle when you twisted it, and the screw holding on the handle was corroded. I didn't want to take a chance and have to turn off water to the house, so I had a professional look at it. Complicating factor - the spigot goes into the house 10 inches, then makes a hard right turn, and all of this is somewhat hidden behind floor joists. Even if I could get to it, I don't know how to sweat copper pipes. The inspection turned into a replacement, and without cutting any beams, he was done before my lunch hour was over. Very impressive efficiency. Nice guy, too. Definitely recommended.
