Well they sent out 4 contractors to appraise labor costs. Total cost was about 15,000. They were so unimaginative. Didn't even have design software to assist in the visual representation. Found some one else in Sycamore at almost half the cost. Project is complete and we're very happy. We will never go back to the extremely expensive Floor to Ceiling.

Called C & H one day and got scheduled for service within three days. The professionals cleaned and serviced my heating system and then explained to me, in detail what the problem was. They engineered a way to take care of the old boiler, and did it in short order. Their fee was exceptionally reasonable given their skill level and "stick-to-it" attitude. If you have an old boiler that needs repair, do yourself a favor and call C & H. p.s. The services delivered were absolutely awful…read more He seemed knowledgeable but did not deliver. The tile job was terrible. As you can see the grout lines are uneven and thick. He installed our flooring and it it is uneven. He installed a 100 pound barn door into the dry wall. My husband had to reinstal. We have never experienced anything like this. The tile grout has been bleeding for over a month. We were told by the contractor that is going to fix it that they would never suggest black grout in a shower or the type of grout Mark used.We have to have the tile redone and when we asked him for a refund to fix it he didn't respond. we were encouraged by the contractor fixing his mess to request the refund.

We own apt bldgs and rental property so we have purchased quite a number of appliances from Lowes…read moreas well as our own home through the years. The end of May our 25 yr old Sears Kenmore Frig freezer went out so we purchased a $2,000 GE frig from Lowes. We noticed after a few weeks it was running a lot and making an odd sound but everything seemed to cool ok. Then a few wks after that I went to get ice cream out of the freezer and it was completely melted along with half frozen meats. We were promptly told since it had been more than 30 days (technically 34 days) since our purchase we needed to call tge GE manufacturer customer service. Lowes clearly wanted no part of the problem. Since then we have had 2 service calls and a number of discussion with GE customer service because all of our frozen foods have thawed a number of times. The first time they said it was a Freon leak and compressor but when they actually came back to fix it they said it was a filter AND Freon problem in the freezer. Second our food thawed we were told it is a sensor that starts the freezing process then to save energy periodically decreases the temperature. We asked for a new frig but GE said NO! They have to have more than one or two service calls to warrant a return! We will NEVER buy another item at Lowes!!. They should be ashamed to not take some responsibility or make an effort to contact their GE representative. Is this what it has come to that a $2,000 item is such a piece of junk and falls apart after a month?! The service person told us today this has become VERY common with GE, Samsung, and other companies. What the hell?!!
