Consequently, I did not return for three years. I randomly received an advertisement on my phone, and an item caught my eye, I looked and saw several items that I wanted. I was absolutely amazed at the selection, the different colors available, the way they had exquisite displays, with the items that were used in the displays, right there in the same area to purchase. If I would not have gone back, I would have thought what some of the other reviewers posted. I would have continued to believe it was a waste of my time. Nope. Not at all. They likely need more attractive displays during non holiday seasons. In my case, not really much going on in mid-January so I had not been enticed to look around. I went in looking for pillows and canisters. Came out with pillows and a grudge I carried for three years. So, let me just encourage you to give them a FAIR chance, which I did not do. I am a human in the state of Ohio! . Lastly, the staff at the Erie, Pa store and the Mentor, Ohio store were just as friendly, kind, and helpful as could be. I will say that, since the store IS so large, it is not always easy to find someone to help you. But, when you do, they have been nothing but outstanding to me. I make an effort to be especially kind to retail workers. It is not a fun job, and I am sure they get their fair share of not so delightful confrontations.

He never made us feel rushed or nervous. He just kept telling us that we were there to have fun and that nothing needed to be perfect.... I It would still taste great!! The dough was already made, but we got to roll it out and learn a lot of technique - Chef was very good about answering any questions that we had. Of course, the best part was that we got to eat our creations right after they were taken out of the oven and there were enough leftover that we got to take some home! The pistachio and chocolate chip filling for the sweet croissant was especially yummy! Chef kept the conversation flowing by telling us about his beautiful wife and talented kids. He is a very knowledgeable Chef and we enjoyed taking his class.

Personally, I find Marc's has a better produce selection and of better quality produce than The Bird ever does, and generally for less $$ (The Bird = Giant Eagle). Across the board, Marc's food costs me less money than other groceries. While they may not always have everything you need on your list, the trip to Marc's is worth it in the dollars you save and the unexpected closeout bargain that will make your life so much better.
