So I asked my contractor to go and pick up the materials needed - quote in hand -! . He calls me to tell me that it would be $300 additional PLUS a 3% charge for using my credit card. WHAT? Contractor told me that the additional cost was for brackets - which I was specifically told were included in the original estimate. So we went from $580.- something to $888.85. I was forced to go ahead with it since now I have no railing and it is a dangerous situation. NOT HAPPY!

They probably have to do this duty at some point before close but they took a long time and were in my way, spent the whole time talking loud about random things. Touching the cans seems like a one person job Especially in already overcrowded aisles. The customer service was nonexistent. While in line a totally different worker was standing on shelving touching products in the same way... probably an end of night duty but it was very rude and uncomfortable while the line was wrapped around and full of people waiting and waiting. Contracted with this business for snow plow services for my elderly parents. The first major storm…read morerequired many phone calls and texts to owner Keith Rosato before over a foot of snow was removed from their driveway and sidewalk. He had so many excuses but promised that it wouldn't happen again. The next storm saw over 14" of snow and again, I had to keep calling and texting, only to get more excuses. I told Rosato that if he couldn't honor the contract I wanted a refund. On February 17, 2022 he promised a refund via text. Today is June 16, 2022. We were supposed to go to Canandaigua Town Court tonight at 4:40pm for small claims court. At approximately 10am, Rosato showed up at our home and stuck a postal money order in the door, refunding the amount promised FOUR MONTHS AGO. He may have barely missed having a judgment in readily available public records, but I am doing this review so no one else has to have elderly parents snowbound or promises made broken. There is certain level of professionalism expected when entering a contract. There is NO professionalism with this man whatsoever.

Ordered an Eskimo Eskape 2600 2-Person Flip Shack and some accessories at the Canandaigua, NY store…read morewhich is almost 3-hours away. They were the closest Runnings that had these units in stock per their website. I received an email that part of the order was ready. I waited until I received a 2nd email indicating everything was available. I was well withing the time frame before they would cancel the order and put the items back in stock. When I arrived, the Eskimo Eskape 2600 2-Person Flip Shack was not available. They said that they only had one unit and not two and gave it to the person who ordered it in January. I don't believe them and think they just sold the unit I purchased and paid for instead of separating it. They told me my unit was "in transit". I was going to cancel the order and asked them if it is in transit, could they just ship it to the Gloversville Runnings. They said they could, but it would take another two weeks. Remember, this is an expensive seasonal item and can only be used for a short period of time each year. Normally when businesses screw up at this level, they offer some sort of compensation to make up for the trouble they caused. Runnings did not. At this point I am considering never shopping at RUNNINGS again. I am just so disgusted with them. My guess is they'll screw up the shipment to Gloversville RUNNINGs.
