The male vet tech grabbed our puppy by the collar and attempted to drag him onto the scale. When I attempted to intervene, I said "I can just lift him and set him on the scale, we are really trying to keep his early vet visits positive," he replied, "how are we suppose to examine him, if we can't even touch him?" I have had animals my whole life and have worked with them for several years and this was beyond shocking to hear. He never even said hi to our puppy, he just grabbed at his collar and tried to manhandle him (I am sure our puppy was terrified at this point). The two female vet techs were equally bad (very unfriendly). Not one staff member even said hello to our puppy or attempted to establish rapport. It was a very cold, controlling and man handling type environment, which had to be very scary for a puppy's first vet visit (outside of vaccinations). We were present and they were terrible....I can only imagine how they are, without pet parents present. We will absolutely NOT be going back, and recommend you find another vet office, where they care about creating a safe and welcoming environment for animals! Run!

They always have time to see my little dog Bailey and treat her as if she were part of their family If you are on a tight budget and your pet needs care, you can tell them what your limits are and they will work with you to give your pet the best care within that budget limit. Dr Haynes and Todd recently did oral surgery on Bailey and extracted several teeth. They went above and beyond doing what was necessary for Bailey within my budget and now she is a very happy, healthy girl.

Because of this I also suggested that they test his thyroid, test for a UTI, and a few other things he has trouble with regularly. often vets do not keep track of everything he has going on or everything I want tested. this vet had no issue and tested for everything. they covered all their bases. they were very responsive during his treatment and diagnosed him with stress colitis and did additional testing to rule out underlying issues that may be causing his illnesses. I appreciate a doctor that will go further than addressing symptoms and actually figure out the underlying cause. My dog was healthy again after the treatments suggested by the vet and he's doing fantastic.

I'd noticed discoloration at the gumline, but no abscess. This would cost $1,800 minimally and possibly $3k+, if they "went in and found they had to do multiple extractions." Meanwhile, we learned Dr. Barkhurst had come to town and taken over the practice, so we could finally get a new, local vet. We brought our dog in and he had the most thorough examination of his life, including of his mouth. The issue that could have cost $1,800+? It was some discoloration by the gumline where some enamel had worn off. Dr. Barkhurst scraped it off with a dental tool while he was a good boy. We'll never go elsewhere.

We have a high-energy Aussiedoodle (who is currently 13 months of pure puppy power) and were stressed about where to take him for grooming. We are fairly good about brushing him out and trimming his nails, but the undercarriage and between-toes fur was getting matted and unmaneagable. Owner and dog-lover, Aieda, took extra good care of our wild boy! After meeting Aieda and seeing her with Maverick, we felt more than comfortable leaving him in her capable hands. We were SO HAPPY to pick him up looking fancy and smelling fresh!
